We have the urban Jungle but required a double buggy with the arrival of our second child. Not cheap in price, we expected similar performance to the urban. Not so. It does feel a bit cheap. The tyre things are bent so it's hard to pump wheels up. There should be an option of having a divider between the seats (esp with toddlers who want to pull at the baby next to them), instead I had to insert a Tupperware lid. Being a Mountain Buggy fan, I immediately bought the duet when we found out we were going to have another baby. Love my mountain buggy duet, my 2 yr old (in 98th percentile for height) still fits in her seat with room to grow, she does not look squished. Smooth ride on grass, cobblestones, etc etc best pram so far and I have been through a few. Had the strider previously-didn't like and was not smooth to push, this one is about the same width (fits through standard doors) and is 100 X better. I think I have finally found the pram that is working perfectly for me. I have a 3yo and a 10 mo. I had a phil and ted dash which was great but my 3yo didn't want to walk anywhere and the second seat is not really appropriate for my baby to nap. So I bought the maclaren twin techno. The duet has been a blessing for us! we have a 3 year old and an almost 1 year old, and use prams daily - the 3 year old often walks now but she still gets tired quickly and sits in the pram between her stints walking. We got this pram after our previous double got too heavy and cumbersome as the children grew.

We brought this pram for our now 2yo & 5mth old (goodness knows why we didn't do it sooner as would've been fantastic for NB & 20mth old!).

We bought this pram for our 21 month old and newborn - we had the MB Swift before and loved it. This pram has both good and bad points. My older son is 2 now, and I can't see how he will still fit in the pram at 4 years old. He is not a big boy, and his head is almost touching the top of the canopy. I'd say in 9 months to a year, he will be too big to get in.

Purchased to use with 2 year old and new baby. Plenty of appeal with great design but quality is poor. On the plus side- its design is one of the best for a double stroller. Narrow base for a double and can fit through all doorways. Large basket underneath that stores a lot of shopping. Seats that accommodate babies through to 4 year olds with lots of recline options. This is a great pram. I've had many prams for my home day care and this is by far my favorite! Despite the cons I listed I wouldn't trade it for any other, its so solid and sturdy that I can imagine it lasting a long time to come. I also have the freerider scooter but I would probably rather a normal toddler board instead. The mountain buggy duet is a great width, we never had any trouble getting in and out of doorways or down aisles. It's smooth to steer and handles well.
Wish it had a quick fold option as the latches are a bit of an annoyance when I've been used to our city mini.

I ended up selling this pram after 3 months of use. My two boys were only 18 months apart - the slim width allowed my eldest to easily reach across to my youngest and more often than not annoy him!

With 17 months between my 2 beautiful girls, I did a lot of research into buying a double pram (after having 4 single prams!!) After talking to alot of people and watching lots of baby gizmo video reveiws i was set on getting a side by side pram. The duet is the narrowest side by side pram (same width as some single prams!!) on the market and I love that both seats fully recline and sit upright.
