Convenient but not great
I bought this as soon as they came out over a Babyzen yoyo (it was cheaper but I'm not sure I made the right decision). It's ok, but pretty hard work to push and fairly uncomfortable height for someone who is tallish (I'm 177cm). It feels a little flimsy too and squeaks a bit. But I have no other experience with light strollers and am only comparing it to my larger pram. I took it on a flight and was still made to check it in as baggage! The next trip we went on I took my Baby Jogger Mini GT And was really glad I made that decision as it was so much easier to push and add shopping to overseas.

The pram I never knew I needed!
I bought the Nano when I was pregnant with my third. I used it everyday with my second until number three came along. The easiest pram to open, close, maneuver and use! And for the price... you can't go past it! An added bonus that my capsule fit onto it to for when my third was a newborn. And Its one of the only prams you can take on a plane as hand luggage. My sister borrowed it to take on holidays with her as she didn't want to take her Bugaboo with her. She came back wanting to buy one too! If only this pram was around when I had my first!

Lightweight, compact, easy to use, fast to fold and unfold.....but not totally perfect.
We've had this pram/stroller for 2 years now and it's been fantastic, we have a small car and found it difficult to fit a large pram into the boot, whereas this can slip in between the front seats and the child seat in the rear so can literally take up no space!
This pram got a good workout when we went back to visit family in Taiwan, as it's busy and with lots of people. most of the places we went to had stairs or escalators, but very few lifts, so when our son wasn't sitting in it we could hang all our bags in and out of it, then when we w...Read more
ould come up to a set of stairs or escalators I could swing the bags over my shoulders and fold the pram without stopping. Talking to another Mum she didn't believe me so I did a 'running demonstration'. It can also be unfolded with a flick and is sturdy...never feels flimsy or like it's going to break. The seat folds back easily with a strap system that is efficient once you get used to it, and so long as the seat is in the up-right position you can even store a few light items (scarfs, jumpers, etc) in the place behind the seat between the lining for 'fast grab' situations. Barely ever use the shoulder strap as usually one of the wheels or components of the brakes ends up stabbing me, but I guess if we were to ever use the travel cover and take the wheels off it would work well.Similar opinion? Lightweight and great for travelling parents
I bought this pram to replace a valco pram which was about 13 kg. At the time of buying the main reason was the weight, the nano is about 6kg. I was struggling lifting my old pram. It also required me to put it into two parts.
My daughter was about one year old when we converted to this one. Which is about the youngest age I would recommend as it doesn't fully recline. The recline amount is needed less as the baby reduces the amount of time napping.
I bought the cover accessories (sun shade and rain cover) I can't really squeeze them sm...Read more
all enough to fit back in the bag they came with neatly. The pack is designed to hang from the back of the pram. The accessories are expensive but worthwhile as they fit well. There is a newer model on the market with thinner wheels, I have concerns this could be a bit problematic as the wheels could get stuck in drains. The wheels are solid and there is no suspension, which is fine for an older child. The front wheels have options for locking but I have never found I needed this. The pram steers really easily compared to others I have tried. The tyres do get rocks caught in them sometimes. These are easily removed. I have had some large gouges from glass etc As it is a pram built for minimising weight, there isn't much padding, this hasn't been a problem. You could put a comfy cover on, which I did for a patch but if it is thick you will have trouble folding the pram shut. You also can't really leave anything in the cargo tray as it won't shut. That being said I regularly go shopping and really fill the tray up with much more than recommended. I can fit fruit, veg, bread and a pack of nappies in the bottom. Which isn't bad!Similar opinion? Excellent for travel and everyday
Bought this as (what I thought at time) a temporary one-off pram for overseas travel. Folds up lightly and easily - can take on board planes in the overhead. Has shade and recline and good storage underneath. Turns out it is so easy to steer in tight spaces that I started using it permanently upon returning from travel. it has rendered my hefty/bulky/cumbersome Bugaboo Cameleon useless. The nano is excellent and I would recommend to everyone who wants a durable, comfortable travel pram with all the must-have features. Buy the official rain cove...Read more
r rather than a generic one as it provides excellent protection. My non-sleeping toddler can easily fit into the pram and naps it in. Can purchase spare wheels but cannot figure out how to remove the current front ones to replace.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Convenient
I bought the mountain buggy nano 2016 from baby bunting which was on sale for $329. Which is still very costly for a stroller. This is a very compact stroller compared to all other strollers even compared with the goodbaby qbit which makes it ideal for traveling. Easy maneuver and very strong and stylish at the same time.

Great little compromise
I got the Mountain Buggy Nano to replace a big two piece pram when my daughter was sitting up confidently and I also had worked up the confidence to get out more with her.
It takes up a quarter of my Corolla's boot space and very maneuverable around shopping centers and cafes. A massive improvement to my big bulky tank of a pram I had prior.
It also has excellent canopy coverage for walks outside when the sun is low on the horizon.
One thing that I might warn prospective purchasers about passenger ergonomics. The crotch buckle is in a locat...Read more

Fantastic stroller!
So easy to manoeuvre. Light weight, easy fold. I love this stroller as an alternative to my heavy bugaboo cam. I nearly didn't buy it after reading some bad reviews but so glad I did. Love it's decent and easily accessible basket compared to other strollers.
Only con is it doesn't recline to be completely flat, but does go quite low, certainly enough for my DD to have a nap.

Fabric coming apart after 2 months of occasional use
The foot rest does not stay down properly so my two year olds feet end up staying up most of the time ( he is not a very heavy kid). Then at the foot rest the fabric has started coming apart after only two months of occasionaly use. So make me worries about the quality. Took it back to Baby Kingdom where they told me that they need to send the details away for mountain buggy to decide where they will repair (looks like having all the fabric replaced) or get a refund/ exchange. So if the outcome is repair I have to spend 3hrs driving back amd forth to baby kingdom. Super frustrating.

Right Rear Wheel Issues
Same issue as many posted.. loved the features of the pram in the store but the first go around the block the right rear wheel started to fall off. Kept at it until finally we carried her home. Disappointed as it has all the features we were looking for in a travel stroller, however, this LARGE defect is the reason why we'll be returning it to the store today.

Perfect travel pram
My partner insisted on buying this for an upcoming trip but I was reluctant due to the reviews mentioning the rear wheels falling off. However we had a very good experience with it - we purchased it for a 3 week trip through Asia travelling with a 3 year old and a 6 month old. As you might imagine the foothpaths in Malaysia and Vietnam (especially the more rural areas)aren't really designed with prams in mind but the Nano proved reliable and sturdy through some really bumpy/muddy/sandy terrain - a mix of pavement, flagstones and dirt tracks (so...Read more
metimes at the same time). I was even surprised at how well it handled some semi-firm beach terrain. It got thrown around and continually packed up and down for multiple taxi and plane trips and never let us down. Both kids found it comfortable and although it doesn't recline completely flat, it goes down far enough that both the 3 year old and 6 month old had no problems sleeping in it. Another bonus we discovered was that there is no need to take the wheels off for it to fit in the overhead lockers on the plane- this worked for the international flights and domestic flights within Asia on a number of airlines. This made the packup/open up process very fast (2 steps) which is great in huge airports like Kuala Lumpur - we simply got off the plane and immediately popped it open (less than 20 seconds) so we could power through the 15 min walk to the exit. I recommend getting the suncover and rain cover (purchased separately) they provide full coverage and got a lot of use in the tropical climate. The only negative we found was if you take the wheels off to pack it up and put them in the travel bag with the pram, they tended to fall out as the travel bag doesn't fully seal and the weight of the wheels can push the velcro strap open. We lost one in a taxi boot and one while walking with the pram packed up but luckily managed to get them back. However since we found it isn't necessary to take the wheels off to put the pram in the overhead lockers it's a problem you can easily avoid.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Absolutely love this pram!
I think people need to remember that this is primarily a travel stroller. I bought mine over a year ago for travel and have loved it so much that I've been using it as a pram for my two kids! Its so lightweight and easy to use that I just couldn't bare my huge double pram anymore. I often strap my 1 year old daughter in and my 3 year old son sits in front of her in between her legs. The under basket is great for a travel pram, no its not huge but its a travel pram! The hood also doesn't do alot but that's probably my only fault. It's great that when the pram lays flat there is mesh behind bub so they can get a breeze. Over all I think its a fantastic travel pram and would highly recommend it to others!

Excellent as a travel pram - not recommended as an everyday pram
As the title states, I think this is a cracking travel pram (we have the 2016 model). However it would drive me crazy as an everyday pram. We purchased the Nano to use for a couple upcoming trips, and I've enjoyed using it beforehand on short outings (e.g. to the shops / shopping centre / etc). It folds up easily and compact, fits beautifully into our car (so much less space than the other one). It's small so I feel less intrusive when shopping.
However, the lack of shocks make it brutal walking on city streets, which of course isn't an iss...Read more
ue in an airport or shopping centre. I'm 170cm, and find the handle a bit low, any taller and it would really annoy me after more than a couple hours. For whatever reason, when I'm walking I tend to step on the break (right hand side) and end up walking into the handle. I find it harder to maneuver than our other (3-wheel) pram. Doesn't come with rain / sun over, or cup holders, so that is an extra cost if you need them. Quality is good. Straps are simple to clip on / off. Good underneath storage. Offers recline option. Won't replace our day-to-day stroller, but if you can afford a 2nd for travel, this is a good option. Note: we've not had any issues with the wheel coming off - hope we never do!Similar opinion? Rear wheel falling off! Safety hazard!
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. As many others noticed, the rear wheel keeps coming off -which is rather annoying and a huge safety hazard while having the baby in the stroller. Come on Mountain Buggy, you can do better than this and find another manufacturer for the chassis/wheels! This has been such a let down purchase at £200+...Wish I'd bought the Yoyo instead...

Wished it had worked! Rear right wheel issue
We loved the idea of this pram - especially as it fitted all capsule types and folded up to it in our small car boot, was light, maneuverable and little. However the right rear wheel fell off after just three outings, and would 'spin off' as pram was pushed, even after being clicked back into place and checked (outings were mall, cafe & city). Store replaced, but the replacement model had same fault after just two outings, (mall and cafe). Wonder if it is a problem with this particular batch. Other downsides is the foot brake which is not very sturdy, and the sun shade has to be down otherwise it hits the handle as you're pushing the pram and is irritating.

Good Travel Stroller
This is a good lightweight travel stroller which you can use for shops and cafes as well as it takes very little room and is really light. I always get comments when I fold it up, people are amazed at how handy it is esp. great for inner city living. Have in mind it's a travel stroller so it's not as sturdy as other strollers. The two negatives are the wheels are a bit flimsy, there is no give and that the handle isn't extendable, which is annoying for me as I'm quiet tall, so the canopy when pushed back will sit on the handles/ your hand. use from birth if you also purchase the bassinet for $99. It's comparable to McClaren Quest which can also be used from birth, and you wouldn't need to purchase a bassinet for the McClaren. Also, I prefer the wheels on the McClaren. I'm still happy with my purchase though.1 comment

the lowest position. Maybe I should have stuck with the Quest although its not as stylish as the Nano. My 3.5 yr old loves the stroller though as she can sleep and curl her legs up to sleep very comfortably. Now my baby is 2 yrs old the straps are very flimsy and when we hit a bump in the path she almost comes fully out of the stroller. They really need to upgrade the harness for safety.Similar opinion? Rear right wheel keeps falling off
I bought the nano for easy lightweight feature and the rear right wheel keeps falling off every few feet the company I bought it from were great they replaced it straight away however received it yesterday and guess what as soon as I walked to the shops the rear right wheel fell off every few feet again so I took my bag off carried it thinking it was too much weight on the back my son is only one year old weighing 22lbs and it still keeps falling off I spend my whole time kicking it back into place. What to do next don't need the stress with five children otherwise love the pram.

Absolute Gold!
Purchased this pram for a three week holiday to Indonesia. We travelled to lots of different places, and on lots of different terrain (rocky footpaths, sandy tracks, dodgy roads) and it was great. It probably does not feel as sturdy as your "home pram" but it was a dream to push and manoeuvre and light enough to carry up any stairs while baby was still in it. We got used to it very quickly and couldn't have travelled without it! Our nine month old loved it and took plenty of naps and ate plenty of meals in it. The sunshade is substantial, but still take a wrap and your pram pegs if you're going somewhere sunny and you can cover baby completely. (Had no issues getting this on four Jetstar flights as carryon luggage).

Love this pram!
We've just returned from Vietnam and bought a 2016 model Nano specifically for the trip - as did the friends we were travelling with. We were all really impressed with it and found that it ticked all of our boxes - easy, lightweight and compact. We compared it to the YoYo and thought it was far better value for money. Highly recommended!
