I have one of the newer model Urban jungles which I love, but have worn through two rear tyres in 6 months! very expensive at $25 each. not sure if there is a known issue with the wheel alignment which may cause this to happen???

We have used this pram from newborn stage with the carrycot and on the whole it's been great. Really easy to steer, great for walking (I do a lot of this), looks great, really good height for tall people etc. i deliberated for ages re the 'right' pram and have for the most part been really happy with this. i wish it had a larger sun shade, larger shopping basket underneath and a mesh panel at the back for airflow like the City Jogger has as it can get hot inside. these are such simple things that would elevate the UJ to being awesome
Height, inflateable wheels, steering, looks great
Small shopping basket, small sun shade, can be hot

Poor quality

All three wheels had to be replaced since we bought it one year ago. A front wheel had manufacturing problem. Bearings broke on one of the rear wheels and the tube on another got totally worn out. I would expect much more from it. If I learnt that it is manufactured in China I would rather go for Teutonia.
It's Practical.
Poor quality. For just city I would prefer a kid facing backwards.

Be aware of the one made in china now!!

We bought a second hand urban jungle almost brand new(you could smell it!!).We decide on this one because off all the reviews and this is not as solid as we thought, after a month the bearrings need to be replaced, the 2 rear wheels are really loose also.
I run with it and this is great but not as amazing as we thought.
The height/the maniability.
Made in china with cheaper parts but cost the same price.

Great Pram

published

I bought as I could put it up and down first go no worries, very easy to use and "drive". I live on a farm and it goes over gravel, sand, mud no worries. If I was buying again I would go for the swift as it has the same features but is a little lighter and narrower although the jungle is still heaps narrower than my friends strider. I am now buying a stroller but have a friend who uses her swift for this purpose. I bought the bassinet and used it HEAPS! This was really good as you can see bub while walking, also really comfy. I also ended up getting the shade and storm covers, they are really useful, shame they don't come with the pram.
Easy to put up/down, easy to "drive"
A little wide and heavy, doesn't come with accessories

I love love love this pram. We're tall and it's the only one which we didn't keep kicking our feet on. It turns easily, folds easily, goes everywhere I need it to go. Love that it can fold with the bassinet attached. Easy to clean. Great for tall children (downside of the swift). Accessories really good, we use a toddler board with it to get 2 kids around and it's perfect. I have had a Phil and Teds and a Maclaren and this is far far better. After 2 kids it still all looks brand new and I use it every day, often several times a day. It's light, narrow, so easy to push, even with 2 kids in it I can push 1 handed.

can be hot in summer when laid back as the sunroof and back arent open. This is fine though, everyone's hot in summer.

Love, love, love it !!

Pram shopping is so hard, I was addiment I wanted to find the perfect pram.. And after trying and seeing almost every pram I was very happy to purchase the mountain buggy. The cost is high compared to others but I've only had to use one pram, where my friends have kept replacing prams along the way... So you save money there. My daughter now 3 still loves it and we still use it now on big days.
Big size for toddler, lots of use. Well made and Great Warranty!

We love our Mountain Buggy and couldn't do without it

Urban Jungle

I’m looking at this pram Mountain Buggy Urban 3 and wanting to know how easy it to push with one hand ? I have big dogs and wanting to walk them while pushing the pram. My current pram phill and Teds 4 wheels is horrible to push with one hand. Also is this pram heavy to lift in and out of the car? Thanks

I have the Urban Jungle and walk 5km every day with my 35kg husky. It is the perfect 1 handed pram, so easy to steer!
It is however a heavier pram to load in and out of the car, but I'm still managing it at 6 months pregnant.

Hmm, I'm not actually sure. You could try emailing mountain buggy and asking, their customer service is pretty good :)
