Great Straightener
This is a really great straightener if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to GHD and Cloud 9. It heats up super fast and leaves your head silky smooth. I also like the fact that it turns off automatically when not used for a certain amount of time.

Great value!
This is one of my favourite straighteners I’ve owned. It is a lot cheaper than the more popular brands and works great. It’s very smooth, doesn’t snag at all. It heats up very very quickly and is so easy to use.

Like it
Because of the need to stay bangs, but grow to an awkward length, I feel very uncomfortable, so every day it needs to bang bangs,so I like it very much .

Handy hair straightener
Very fast to heat up and I like the option to change the temperature. Have both the thin and thick plates one as I have thick long hair. The thin plates also work well for curling.

Heats up really quick
I am happy with the results I have obtained using this product. Very easy to use, heats up super quickly and glides through hair. Pretty sure it turns itself off after a certain period of time, and I like this as a safety feature.

Perfect!
This item is much better then my previous vs Sassoon. I find my hair so much less damaged and also much smoother. I would definitely recommend and it is total value for money.

No pulling on hair
Heats up quickly, no pulling on hair. Really smooth straightening and curling. Heats up quickly. Leaves hair nice and shiny after use. Holds well for multiple hours and curls over night.

Easy to use
Very easy to use. Heats up quickly and glides through the hair.
Can also use it to do curls quite easily as it's easy to turn the straightener. Good value for money

Love it!
Impulse buy! I definitely do not regret this purchase. I use this everyday and cannot do without it. Almost 9 months old now and works perfectly fine. No issues. Even use it occasionally on my teenage girls. Easy to use and not bulky.

Straight hair. Love it!
This is a most fantastic air straightener. My previous one took a while to heat up whilst the mum heats up straight away. I have very thick curly hair and it does the job delivering straight hair with a minimal effort. I would thoroughly recommend purchasing a mum hair straightener.

Amazing results
Love my new Muk straightener. What's up quickly, doesn't pull on hair. Glides smoothly and straightens in one go. Previously I had a GHD and would now only recommend a MUK.

I love it. So much better than my GHD
Literally leaves my hair feeling so soft and luscious.
Straightens with ease, it has ajustable heat settings, the cord is also quite long do you aren't restricted.
In my opinion the IR seems to do the trick.
I love it and would buy again.

This straightens my hair the best I’ve ever seen it!
It hears up in like 30 seconds, and you can adjust the temperature! Straightens my hair beautifully! And never pulls my hair! Also you get a 2 year warranty! I will straighten my hair the night before and wake up to it’s still perfectly straightened! I always have the bad habnot off leaving it on, but it turns itself off after an hour! Love love love it! Best straightener ever!

I love my Muk Straightener!!
I have thick, wavy hair that is not easy to straighten. It used to take me up to 1 hour to straighten my hair with the old straightener. With my new Muk straightener it takes less than 15 minutes. I washed then blow-dried my hair (not using a brush to try and make it straight) then set my timer and got to work. I couldn't believe it was so quick and easy!
On the downside is that it does dry my hair out so I have to make sure I now use a heat protectant which I never had to use before. But savings myself 45 minutes in the morning - I am happy to buy extra products to keep saving myself the time!!

Doesn't work well and stopped getting hot in less than a year.
I have thick and curly hair. I have been using hair straighteners for over 20 years and tried most brands. The MUK was recommended to me from a hairdresser at Petra Hair Care, so I thought I would give it a go. I do most of my straightening, using a hair dryer and a round brush first, so most of the work is done, before I use my MUK hair straightener. I only rely on this to make it 100% straight, smoother and thinner.
Sadly I am not impressed with this straightener. I have to go over and over my hair. It definitely doesn't work on my ...Read more
hair in its natural state, only after I've straightened it with first. It is very fast at heating up and it is good that it turns off it you leave it on. But I'm not happy with the results. What made me write this review was that I bought the product in May and 10 months later, the product no longer gets hot enough. Despite the heat display showing that it gets to 220 degrees (it can go as high as 230), it doesn't get to 220 degrees, as my hair used to be too hot to hold after it was straightened, now I can touch my hair and it's not hot. I treat the hair straightener well, haven't dropped it, don't wrap the cord and I always place it on a GHD heat mat. If you have easy to straighten hair, this might be ok, but not for curly or thick hair.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Works well on thick hair
Iv had this for several years. Mine has a temperature dial that you can turn up to 220 degrees. I use it on that temp & it works well. Its survived quite a few drops. Not sure how much it cost since it was a gift. I have quite wirey dry hair.

Not comparable to a GHD or Cloud Nine
This straight was recommended to me by a Hairhouse Warehouse staff member as being better then a GHD, not the case, I have thick hair and the Muk took much longer to straighten my hair with the results not lasting more than half a day.

Wide Plate and All
Moving on from an old ceramic straightener. The difference was immediate. It heats up almost instantly up to 230 degrees which is great when you are in a hurry to get out the door. It glides beautifully and people are asking me which hairdresser straightened my hair ;)

Better than my old GHD
Purchased this after my 2yr old GHD died. I was sceptical that anything could be as good as a GHD but I was super surprised that I love it more than I ever liked my old straightener. Glides perfectly, doesn't burn my hair as much and leaves it smoother in a quicker amount of time.

I ended up buying a GHD platinum 6 weeks after buying the Muk, much less time needed to straighten my hair and the results lasted much longer!
