Hi i am looking at getting a fiberglass pool and have read many reviews of the gel coat issue that have been present in the last 2-5 years with fiberglass pools. The warranty claims that have been submitted against the pool shell manufactures and all of there responses being the owners fault with correct water quality as the principle issue for the gel coat bleaching is absolutely rubbish and very concerning for a potential customer. Has anyone on this forum have a pool shell supplier that they have used with reel life 1-2 years experience with the pool shell not bleaching due to in proper application of the gel coat substrate. Would love to have a pool installed but i am worried by what i have read and don't want to risk a $40K duck pond in the back yard.

I was told about half a dozen claims of faded pools on the day of handover of my pool and to keep an eye on it. . Run a mile. Don’t waste your money.

I am sure you are going to meet Dean Douglas from Narellan Pools Nepean. He is super good and committed. You will never repent dealing with him.
How do you replace the lights in your Narellan Pool. Ours is completely out for over 1 year now.
If my lights didn’t work I would ask Dean, my Narellan Pool installer. Go back and call your installer or find out the manufacturer of the lights and check them out. Good luck. Pool shops as well.

If you have a dispute with one of the franchise owners regarding the installation quality of the pool, are complaints handled by head office or the franchise owner?
I would attempt to sort out through the franchise owner first as they were the ones who carried out the work. Hopefully you can get some resolution.
That avenue has been well and truly exhausted. My options, as I see them, are to have head office intervene and assist the franshise owner in resolving the problems or to engage a legal colleague/ACCC to force a settlement between us.

Our pool cracked last night. Has anyone had any similar issues. Tried to call franchisee but they have been effected by the fires and have no phone service. When called call centre wasn’t interested in helping.

I need help managing our new pool. The hand over was limited and has left me at a loss as to how to respond to an algal bloom. I have done everything possible from cleaning the filters, ensuring the chemistry is correct and vacuuming ( not sure if connected correctly as no instructions as to how to operate if have self cleaner. I put the connection plate in the skimmer basket side). Please give me advice or steer me to appropriate online resources.
