A great decision to upgrade to this amazing wood heater!

    published

I've replaced my old and dangerous wood heater with a Nectre which is South Australian made. It works a treat, warming all the area I need. I've opted to fit an electric fan which only enhances the abilities of this stylish and efficient wood heater. The installers, Knights Plumbing & Gas are perfectionists (credit to Mike) and I am happy it's come in at the upper limit of my budget as it's a marvellous improvement!

I find wood heaters as rubbish. We have a pacifist energy summit series wood heater it's the biggest and is hopeless we paid $2400 for it and they said it will heat a 30 sq house . I said to the dealer what an extre 1 degree? I want my 30 feet be 25 feet living room heated to 28 degrees and it's lucky to get to 18 . Would yours heat this size room to 28? Would it heat also an adjoining room with a big arch ? I'm at my whits end. Hell a 44 Gallen drum full of wood would kill this heater

I believe the Nectre Inbuilt with fan would be too small to do the job. You omitted to say how high your ceilings are as this will have an impact on choosing the correct heater. The Pacific Energy Summit is a free standing unit which will always be more effective than an inbuilt unit as all of the heater and the flue system will be in the room. Depending on your ceiling height I would recommend either the Nectre Mk I radiant heater, if you have higher ceilings, or the Nectre Mk 11 or Mega if you require a unit with a fan for a lower ceiling installation. If you have higher ceilings a ceiling fan is advisable as it will assist in circulating the warm air throughout your home.
