My 4 Nexen tyre experience
I’m currently running the Nexen SU1, but compared to the N8000 they are nowhere near as good the only thing the SU1 would win against the N8000 is wear rate apart from that the N8000 wins hands down. The N6000 again is a way better tyre, some say the SU1 is meant to be better than the N6000 but the N6000 is better in the wet and slightly better in the dry. This brings me to the N7000 which for me it’s more like it’s still a good tyre in the wet, dry, braking, cornering, noise & good Ks and definitely better than other cheaper tyres and even some brand tyres and still recommend them.
For me the N6000 was the perfect all round tyre unfortunately it’s not made anymore

Good on road tyre.
Very good tyres but we found out we could have waited a week and gotten one for free, the sound on the road is excellent and handles very well the only down side is were 24ks used and don't expect to get much more out of them very sadly enough

Quiet, Smooth but 30,000 miles max
Like the other Veloster owner, mine came with the Hankook Ventus which did not last over 20,000 miles, and were generally not very quiet. I then tried Continental Extreme Contact DWS, which I liked, but still did not get more than 30,000 miles before they became very noisy and rough. After putting Nexens on my daughter's older Toyota Camry and seeing that it solved her vibration issues and held up very well, I put these on my Veloster. They are indeed very quiet and they smooth out the rough ride of the poor (but tight) suspension on the Veloster. They still only last about 30,000 miles, but they are quite a bit cheaper than the Contis. I'm now on my 3rd set of two tires (I don't rotate as often as I should).

From Hankook to Nexen
I had Hankook ventus prime 2's on the front which gave a very harsh ride and wheelspinned from nearly every hillstart, just changed to these 215/40/R18 Nexens and they're almost silent compared to them and the grip is incredible, bang for buck is the correct phrase for these tyres as they punch well above their weight.

Fantastic tyres!
Purchased the Next SU1 tyres after using Nexen N3000. I drive a Mitsubishi 380 and find the tyres very grippy and with low road noise. Could not recommend them enough. I am running 225/35/20 and they seem to work well in both wet and dry conditions. They also came with 3 year roadside assistance.

Huge Fan: Changed from Bridgestone Potenzas to Nexen SU1s on BMW 3 Series
I purchased the Next SU1 tyres having come from Bridgestone Performance Tyres which grip really well, but were considered noisy.
I am driving a BMW 3 Series on 18 Inch Alloys and once I swapped the Bridgestone for the Nexen Tyres I immediately could feel a significant difference in comfort and a reduction in noise.
I am incredibly impressed by the Nexen Tyres as I had never heard of the brand before, but once the Tyre Mechanic convinced me that it was of good quality and manufactured in Korea, I decided to try.

more comfortable on the road, and glides over the road and uneven surfaces much better than my previous Bridgestone Potenzas. The Nexens are also much more quieter. Considering that they are also significantly cheaper than the popular brands, I will be sticking to Nexens from now on and swear by them for a good daily driver car's tyres! I am not sure of the performance of them as i do not drive my car hard.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

High quality yet low cost.
Good tyres. Well made and good grip for a low cost tyre. I'll be buying again. I used 235/40x18 and 275/35x18 on my V8 S XH Falcon ute. I'll be buying more for another vehicle too if the sizes are available. We often get screwed on size availability in Oz.

Quite Impressive
Had these installed on all 4 wheels of a Fiesta 09 Zetec. Lots of city and highway driving and these didn't miss a beat. Solid grip in the dry and acceptable in the wet. I think these are best of the budget tires, before it goes to the well known brands. Even better than some. Wear was slightly more than I expected, but not terrible by any standards. Shop didn't have more when I went back and had the Achilles ATR, Which in overall comparison were terrible. Definitely recommend and but these again.

Very comfortable and quiet
I have 20" wheels with low profile tires on an Audi A6 S-Line, and the Pirelli's PZero that the car came with offered good road feedback but were getting increasingly hard, uncomfortable and noisy as they started to get older. So when they finally went, I wanted to replace them with something more quiet and comfortable, but also good in the wet and with a decent handling level. The NFera SU1 is exactly the type of tyre i was looking for.
Positives: very comfortable, extremely quiet for a 255/35/R20 tyre (Nexen says 68dB), good wet grip, grea...Read more
t price Negatives: not so good road feedback and dry braking (compared to the PZero), handling is average The wear level is nothing special, it wears a bit faster than the PZero, because the SU1 is a softer tyre, but not by much. I have done about 12k miles and they seem to be about half their original thread height.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Amazing Improvement.
Was recommended to try these tyres by a friend. I had gone through two sets of Continentals on a Peugeot 508 GT. The front ones lasted 20,000 K's and I changed them for the Nexens. The car now drives straight, doesn't tram track, and is incredibly much quieter. Ride and grip in the wet and dry is just as good as the Conti Sport Contact 6 tyres I had and these are about half the price! I have just ordered two more sets for two of our other vehicles. Highly recommended.

Best tires I've ever bought
I went to a goodyear near my house to replace the NEXEN N3000 I had on the for 30k miles. At first I was a bit iffy because of the price difference but as soon as I drove out the shop the difference was day and night, my 2000 Camaro z28 rides as smooth as some newer cars I've driven this past year. I'm extremely happy with these tires and I would strongly recommend them.

THE HYPE IS PRETTY ACCURATE
Replaced my Potenzas with these tyres after researching here on PR. Theses tyres were fitted in a day the rain started so timing was perfect. Great wet grip. My XR6T has 300rwkw & these treads surprised me as to how much performance they handle. The only area the Potenzas outperformed the nexens was corner turn in/out. And that is only marginal. Noise & comfort The SU1s are amazingly silent. Can't imagine why anyone wouldn't find these tyres excellent value for money.

Massive Bang for Your Buck!
I had Bridgestone Potenza S001s on my SAAB 9-3 (225/45ZR1794YXL) and I replaced them with Nexen N'Fera SU1s. They are much quieter, have much more grip in both the wet and the dry, and provide a much more comfortable ride. At $180 a tyre, these have to be the best value high performance tyres around. Better still, they're made in Korea not some third world country!

Good, but Bad.
These tyres were installed into my brand new car which I purchased on May, 2014. They're very comfortable, not loud at all, and have a good grip. However, after 11,000 km (approx. a year and a half) the tyres became worn and one of them is in a very terrible condition.

Highly impressed with amazing wear
Have done 77,000 kms with at least 5000 left on them and have been impressed with the quality in both wet and dry conditions ands noise levels...more than ihappy and I will be getting these again. The price is also better that what I have bought in the past for 18's

Much better than expected
I previously had rubbish n3000 Nexens, and wasn't keen on buying Nexen again. My retailer assured me they were better than the n3000, and he was right! Very impressive. Quiet and grippy, wet or dry. Behaves like a much more expensive tyre. Would certainly recommend these, and buy them again.

Tremendous value performance and quiet safety
These tyres have been fitted to a Mercedes E320 wagon for just over 18 months. In that time we have travelled 35000 km and the improvement in ride and handling has been brilliant. The improvement in braking and wet road stopping is phenomenal. Wet road handling is now what I would expect from a far more expensive and softer compound tyre. No longer relying upon the vehicles traction or stability systems to handle extremely wet conditions. The ride is now quieter and safer. 225/55 ZR16 95 W. Wear after 35 K about 33%.

Next to horse crap
Worst tyres ever bought,

After 13,000kms of highway driving the REAR tyres were almost bold?!?! The fronts were at approx 60%
Even the guys at the tyre shop were amazed,
Got told a rep would contact me in a day or so to organise something for me...two months later still waiting
Worst customer service by nexen,

What is its fuel economy rate?
2 answers
The rolling resistance seems to be good enough, so the fuel economy is a bit better than with the old tyres but only just. This could also be because the old tyres were very worn, so i had more wheel spin under traction.
The fuel economy was not really affected by these tyres compared to Continental. This may vary on other vehicles but I don't expect much variation.

Does this tyre have rim protection?
4 answers
Mate.. I haven't come across many low profile tyres that have good rim protection... My last tyres (potenzas) had no more than these... They're average
Many thanks!
Yes, they have great rim protection, for low profile tires...I have NEXEN N'FERA SU1 245/35/R20 and they have at least 7/8 " of protection all around to protect your rims....On top of the smooth and comfortable ride, they also look sexy with my 20" rims......
