It actually works

published

I've smoked for about 8 years quite heavily and would get highly irritated (even upset) when trying to quit cold turkey or using patches. Using this on an empty stomach is a bad idea, spraying under my tongue works but I hold my breath for 30 seconds before swallowing, it really makes the cravings go away almost instantly! I have heaps of trouble using the locking mechanism on the spray :/ but overall I think is product is fantastic!! And would definitely recommend to anyone trying to quit

Not suitable for everyone

published

I tried this product about a week ago, and although following the instructions of use & also some online recommendations from other users, I had the problem of instantaneous hiccups & an involuntary urge to throw up. This did not disperse with time like some users said. I tried the suggestion of holding my breath for a few seconds to make sure the spray wasn't hitting my throat & also spraying the inside of my cheeks to avoid it hitting my throat to no avail. So I had to stop using it.

It also feels like you've just chewed a hot chilli after spraying.

Expensive, Non refundable after opening, Not suitable for everybody

Fantastic!!!

This product is amazing! Literally saved my marriage! Constantly fighting about funds with the wife, therefore something had to be done, tried everything, patches, lozenges, gum, electronic cigarettes, cold turkey, I tried numerous times, but until I found this product I didn't think it'd be possible to quit! It's fast, effective, and it works! And so much cheaper then cigarettes!
Only negatives would be, maybe it could be cheaper? And maybe different flavours?
Reliable, fast, effective!

Works temporarily.

I quit for a year on this stuff. But you tend to forget that while using this nicotine spray, you're still actually addicted to nicotine.
So after one year of being smoke free, I gave up the spray.
One month later, I was back on the cigarettes.
I want to quit again, but addiction to one substance in place of another isn't for me.
Temporarily effective.
Temporarily effective, expensive.

Never thought I'd give up!!!

What a fantastic invention!! Cannot believe that this actually works!! Highly recommend :)))
I've been a smoker since the age of 15 - not proud. Now at 42, I'm seriously a non- smoker!! Only use the spray about 3-5 times a day! Please give it a try - you won't be sorry you did!!!
Easy but I spray under my tongue and let settle before swallowing. Otherwise coughing fit.
Nothing. Makes me NOT want a cigarette :)))

Thank you! Thank you! Quitting was easy!

I can not rave about this enough and should probably contact them for kick-backs as I am recommending it (in that pushy way us ex-smokers have) to everyone I know.

Doesn't come with the best instructions, makes you nauseous on an empty stomach - but hey, Chemotherapy makes you more nauseous.

People complain about the taste and I have to say it tastes better than an ashtray so what is your problem? You go from stinking to having minty fresh breath.

Harsh the first time? So was Smoking!!
The taste, the fix, the speed, the effectiveness, Im not afraid of watching TV and seeing Cancer Ads!

Nicorette QuickMist has helped to stay off smoking!

I did experience hiccups at first! But now i have found a trick to never get a hiccup - SPRAY THE INSIDE OF EITHER CHEEK AND DON'T INHALE WHILST SPRAYING. I hope that this may help someone out there with this method that may work for you as it did for me!

This stuff was a lifesaver on my plane journey from Sydney to Japan!!!
Nicotine aid!

5 weeks smoke free for me

It took me 24 hours to get used to the taste and burnish feeling. I ended up having to spray it on my tongue and kind of leave my tongue out of my mouth for 30 seconds, then i was fine. I had to do this for 24 hours and then i was used to it.
I am tickled pink at my own success using the spray.
a fast hit of nicotine
very expensive

Quick Mist is just that ...instant!

published

I used pre Quit patches for 2 weeks ...then patches for 4 weeks and Quickmist as an emergency back-up. They don't give me heartburn or hiccups like other products (don't inhale when you spray). I've only used as a back up and not been tempted to run out and buy cigarettes. I'm thinking about giving up patches and just using spray as week 8 now and I really want to wean myself off nicotine. I wish I knew how many sprays equals a full strength cigarette.
Quick fix ...no heartburn, easy to use.

Not a fan

The product is okay, but the spray gives a burning sensation similar to extra-hot chili peppers in your mouth or on your lips. My husband can't use it because it gives him hiccups every time he uses it! I still keep it in my handbag for absolute desperation moments but prefer the mini lozenges instead - unfortunately I'm allergic to the patches.

Worried

I am addicted to Nicorette mist spray since quitting in 2013, i can not go any were with out it, going away in i have to carry spares...originally it lasted 4 odd days but lately i can not get past 3 so i wonder if the company making it for J+J are putting the full amount in the spay as its sealed away for viewing, the expensive kit it not child proof as i found 2.. 3 year old working it out, drop the price as i note the biggest chemist shop selling it from say $49 to $56 (3 pack) and less often have now due to the Corona virus and people sitting at home using more of it have now put it up to $69.. I feel the demand for it will make twice the profit and i thought it was illegal to profiter or take advantage of the public during a pandemic.. Others now home 24/7 and bored must feel the same, cut the profit and help, why has no other manufacturer tried to market the spray and what other spray etc What flavour is close to freshmint to help cut down on the nicorette, my Dentist can not understand why my teeth are needing fillings from more regular decay...
Shocked by contracting lung cancer now (6 months) i need something for my anxiety not pills but find the cost of mist at $69 is just 2 much to afford. They advertise vitamins at 50% off but never the profit maker, its advertised on TV to stop smoking but has no discount of price..Ebay are advertising 2x2 packs del for $70 and that's 4 sprays not 3 ?????? of course Woolies, Coles and small chemists are selling at the same price all year round and ridiculous as they possible sell 2-10 packs a month..

Yes, in my experience it does register. However it’s not enough to be over the limit.
