Best multipurpose appliance - makes life much easier
I bought the Ninja Foodi from Myer last month and have been able to cook one-pot meals within half an hour - For e.g Wild Rice and mushrooms (pressure function) with salmon and roasted Broccoli (using grill function). Clean up after was simple and far fewer pots and pans to clean. I have cooked pasta (from dry - no need to separately cook pasta)/ rice/ lentils/ chicken/air-fried chips so find the appliance really versatile. Pressure cooking has never been simpler and quicker. The grill rack could have been better designed as the wire is bent over to potentially make it stronger, but this creates gaps in which food gets embedded requiring a brush to dislodge when cleaning. Overall has made cooking so much easier and enjoyable.
Purchased in December 2021 at Myer Online Store for $279.00.

Still Amazed......
At last, a product that does exactly what it says on the box and is so easy to use.
The Ninja Food Multi Cooker has exceeded my expectations, it takes a few minutes more to cook something via the air fryer (compared to the Philips Airfryer) but, to date, everything has turned out perfectly. Steamed whole cauliflower and whole baby potatoes are so quick and easy to prepare - still trying to get my head around how you can cook a whole cauliflower in about eight minutes and the baby potatoes only need steaming for a few minutes. Plus the clea...Read more
nup is so easy. Think it would be a good idea if the small silicone oven gloves used in the demonstrations could be included in the box. Had to source these separately and found them on EBAY for just under AUD10.00 compared to the price on the Ninja Foodi website around $29. The operation of the machine is so easy to follow and coping with the two lids has not been a problem. This machine is big and bulky but worth the investment.Purchased in July 2021 at Harvey Norman Online for $329.00.

Frustrated
We have had Ninja foodi 3 weeks .
And have used it most days .
Nothing we have cooked has turned out to our satisfaction
Really dissapointed that all meals we have cooked have left an awful cooking smell in the kitchen.
I had an air fryer previously and that didn't leave smells .
We did chicken legs in the air fryer last night and the smell is terrible.
Its still there this morning.
Also i went to a couple of book shops to try and get a recipe book and was told
There not printing them anymore ....Read more

The Ultimate Mutli-cooker
So far I've used the pressure cooker, air fryer, sautéing, roasting and steaming functions and all work great. Potato gems are extra crunchy, chicken wings crispy, burgers and sausages are done well, pressure cooking comes out great and the one cake I tried came out perfect. I even made chicken soup in it. The only thing that seems to not work out for me is rice because it doesn't have a moisture sensor and pressure cooking it tends to overcook unless you know the timing. Its a solid machine that doesn't feel like cheap plastic and the piec...Read more
es are well engineered. You can use the same accessories that are available for other air fryers which is good because the wire rack isn't the most useful design I've seen. Its easy to clean and while it is a bit heavier than most multi-cookers it isn't too heavy for me to move around with its sturdy handles (mine is kept on the fridge). When de-pressurising it can be a little noisy. I use the machine most days and have had it for over a month now and so far no problems.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love love love it!
I’ve been amazed by just how much the foodi can do and how quickly I can get a fabulous meal on the table during the week. It’s been used almost daily since I bought it due to the convenience, cooking quality and super easy clean up. Favourite quick dish is chicken and chorizo paella using the Beerenberg meal base - brown off the meat, throw in the rest of the ingredients including the Arborio rice and pressure cook for 4 minutes. Viola, perfect every time! Did the most a-m-a-z-i-n-g sticky bbq pork ribs ever. Wrapped them around the inside of ...Read more
the bowl (I had a lot so the looked like rib florets lol), I smothered them in the Beerenberg rib sauce and pressure cooked for 20 minutes. Popped them the under the grill for 5 minutes to caramelise (you could do this in the foodi with the air fryer but as I was cooking for 6 I would have to have done it them in batches). They where divine, succulent and juicy with meat just falling off the bone. The foodi is without a doubt one of my best all time purchases.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I thought the All In One cookers couldn't get any better.....
...then Somehow I fell over the Ninja Foodi online.
My first thought was "I wonder when we'll see them in Australia?" so off I went on a little search....and found they had newly hit our shores.
I saw the words pressure cooker, slow cooker, air fryer....say no more!!!! I'm pretty sure I left a cloud of dust as I went on the hunt for the best place to order from. Somewhere amongst all the madness I asked the LOTO if I could buy one. Thankfully he said yes. (I don't think he had any clue what it was I was on about) All of 5 minutes later I had ...Read more
the confirmation email from Myer. For approximately 2 years, I've been the proud owner of 2 other brand name AIO cookers. I've had the same brand air fryer for about 5 years. I love what I can create with them but to be honest - the air fryer seems a great waste of limited space in my house. (Yes yes and here I am buying another appliance!!!) So fast forward only a few days and it arrives. I'm like a fat kid on a cupcake as I dive into the box and get it out...plastic and packaging flying in all directions and Miss 5 having a great time commandeering the Myer box to play in.Similar opinion? Questions & Answers
Joette Beckasked
Why does my pressure release value leak steam after its pressuring? It’s in the Seal position .The ring is on tight & everything is clean. It’s never done this before. Only used it 6 times.

No idea. Suggest you ring the company that distributes Ninja products in Australia - believe they are based in western Sydney, They should be able to answer your question. Good luck.
Laurazzzzxxasked
In the USA they are dehydrating food. The Australian one doesn't have this setting. Can we dehydrate if yes how?
1 answer
To my knowledge, the Ninja Foodi model that dehydrates has never been imported into Australia.
Suggest you contact the distributor direct, believe they are based in the western Sydney area.
Have definitely seen their website come up if you type into your browser "Ninja Foodi Multicooker".
Lorraine Lopichasked
How well does it grill a piece of steak or a lamb chop?
1 answer
We have never tried grilling/cooking this type of meat as we prefer a hot grill pan - we opt to have steak cooked Blue - and usually it is cooked both sides within 2-3 minutes. Cannot see why you could not get a good result with the grill selection button if you prefer your meat cooked well/medium it should work in the Ninja Foodi Multi Cooker.
However, if appears that there will be a Ninja Foodi Grill AG301 unit released in Australia late October. Reviews from the USA look very positive. Looks like it could be very useful and worth checking out - just type the name of the new unit in your browser and you will find many websites with reviews. If your issue is grilling, it looks like this new unit covers this area perfectly.
We have had a number of Philips Air Fryers over the past 8 years but the Ninja Foodi Multi Cooker has now taken over as our main unit as it is much more useful.
