Family car which i feel is unsafe to Drive. We purchased this car brand new in July 2015 for approx $54,000. This is our business car and I bought it over others because of its ability to utilitze hands free bluetooth, autostart, and sirius radio. The bluetooth prints out a choice when you speak someones name, so when I say "call Jane Smith mobile" there is a read out that gives me Jane Smith, home, office and mobile and then I have to use the touch screen, which takes my eyes off the road. I'm lucky enough to get a Nissan Pathfinder STL for a company car, as far as a large SUV go I can't really fault it except for the following;
Tailgate doesn't lift high enough (I'm 6''2 and bang my head without fail) why build such a big car and make the tailgate so low?
Car should come standard with 20inch rims .. 18s look crap on such a big car.
Interior dates so fast, nice at first but soon becomes ho hum.
no Apple car play ... wow it's 2018.
12v power underneath stupid storage under HVAC controls, good luck with that.

I have a very tall husband, 2 young children and a large dog.
I upgraded from 2013 Nissan Dualis which I loved however it was just not big enough after our 2nd child. We use this car as the family car.
Pros
- second row of seats can move forward and back which gives more leg room for passengers and also more room for front passenger when rear facing carseats are installed

There has been lots to love about the 2014 ST-L Pathfinder. Its incredibly roomy and comfortable, lots of features that ensure the whole family is happy, and easy to drive with the surround camera and powerful engine which is quiet and smooth.
BUT the tyres wear super fast, city driving consistently only getting 410km a tank, at 55,000 all brake pads were shot, rear shock absorbers need replacing, front strut in need of replacing (not so quiet over bumps any more!), CVT was replaces under warranty, I'm still not convinced it's right. I love it!
Jamb packed full of features! Plenty of power and so, so comfortable!
The family loves it too; we recently had a holiday trip from Melbourne to the Gold Coast, it was a dream for all! Skylight and Moonroof are awesome! The kids love the rear video screens where we can have a DVD on controlled by us in the front or you can plus a USB in the rear.

We have replaced our good old Explorer with this car after it finally stopped working. The repair was to expensive to keep it. Obviously, coming from the real 4wd we didn't expect much of this car in terms of its off road performance. Luckily, we don't do any off road trips now, so a real 4wd was not required for us.

We bought this car brand new and loved it. Its a roomy car which is extremely comfortable to travel in (so those long trips are very tolerable!). The handling is excellent. We love the Push Button start and my wife in particular loves the keyless entry as she no longer needs to find her keys in her handbag to get into the car :)
We have 3 kids under 10 - in this car, we can fit 7 adults very comfortably. Our model has the leather seats which are wonderful. We also have the rear camera and parking assist which is a godsend in a car this big.

It feels cheaply built. Got my 2014 pathfinder stalled a few times until it couldnt start back up and wouldnt recognised the key all the sudden after over 2 years ive had it. Wife and kids had to stayed in the car until emergency towed them on a hot day.
4 weeks down the track, out from the dealer which they ve said they fixed it. It was the IPDM fault. Drove over the weekend and stalled again while I was driving which nearly had an accident no power steering at all.

We recently traded our 2013 Commodore VF SportWagon in on a Pathfinder R52 ST-L with the optional Tech kit (Bose, extra cameras etc).

A few quick observations:
The ride is nice. Not too firm. Comfortable and spacious interior, even when 7-up. Ample power and performance is spritely considering the 2-ton weight of the car. You have to ignore the horrible CVT gearbox. It really is awful.
