To be honest im a bit perplexed that whilst you are capable of doing a search for the issue and ask here that you have to ask here as the answers for your question as to where the fuses are, are all over the net. Lazy times 1000 bud.

Thats an oddy mate. Is carpet wet all the way to the pedals area? It could be coming from the dash area or firewall if it is. Have you felt up and around the accelerator and brake pedal, under and around the firewall area if anything is wet. Thats the first port of call for water entry.

common problem with AC in all the later model xtrails they all had AC problems dont know if Nissan actually did anything about it.

the fan motor rattling they all do it the only way to stop it is to pull it apart & spray it with wd 40

the older models are ok the newer models from 2017 are problems with CVT

Mine was the same. I fitted an iDrive unit and it got rid of the throttle lag. Improved fuel consumption as well.

mine was the same it turned out to be a fault in the throttle sensor. It wont show up as a fault code you need to take the car to a real mechanic who knows what they are doing, The dealers are useless My local mechanic picked up what the problem was within 5mins Without a computer

could be anything take it an auto electrician

not switched on...blown fuse, loose fuse, blown relay, loose relay, broken wire. loose wire. blown globes, faulty switch. could be anything.

The turbo seals were failing at 80.000kms on some xtrails. Nissan says caused by driver error. so nissan did not fix them.

very common problem with the xtrails turbos & its still a problem with the later models seals failing early. You only need to replace the seals NOT the turbo. seals needs to be replaced every 100,000kms

Have the same issue but was told by shop that that is how the Xtrail system is - very weak on start up.

It sounds like a problem with the unit, my xtrail air is very cold .

Have you done a google search for the code? it is a fault with the Internal control Module. Take it another mechanic who knows what he is doing.

get a service & the engine light will go out. The cars computer is telling you hey theres something wrong take me for service & get me checked out. X trails Needs to be serviced every 10 thousand kilometers leave it too long after that & the engine light comes on, ignore the engine light then it goes into limp mode & makes you get it serviced

No squeak but my air con has been poor since day one. Had unit checked at the workshop and no issues - just always struggles to cool in higher heat.

what year is it?? any Xtrails after 2014 are problems the earlier models are better.The squeak in the front wheels is the ball joints or sway bar bushes common problem with the later model Xtrails same as the air conditioner another common problem with later model xtrails Nissan knows about it but says there is not an issue.

(xtrail t32) I had same problem, took it to nissan service station, they only cleaned and bla bla bla... then I took the liberty to check the refrigerant by pressure (not by weight as they recommended). turned out, need more gas. I filled it up to the minimum requirement to be cautious. it's been 10 months now and the aircon still good.
