This is best vacuum cleaner I ever have
I bought different vacuum cleaner twice and I end up to throw them away, Now I have Hendry and been using it more than 3 years and it still work perfectly as just bought, It works quite good on both carpet and floor tiles. The vacuuming power is strong enough to remove soil and small stones. The length of the cord is one of its strength.
Little bit heavy but that is fine because it has wheel to move around

Best vacuum cleaner, value for money
This English made vacuum cleaner is sturdy and great for large areas. Has a very long cord. Comes with large bags and additional for about a $1 ea. can also be used bag less. Bought online and deliveredwas cheaper than in store. Adjustable suction and additional attachments make it suitable for a variety of surfaces. An economical purchase compared to some other brands. Virtually the power of a commercial vacuum cleaner. It's size might be an issue for a small home or apartment both in use and storage.

Not the best on the market
The suction and performance of the unit isn't the greatest. I have used cheaper machines that can match or even exceed this machine. Tje machines manoeuvrability is ok but a cordless machine is so much more convenient. I feel this machine was made to clean clean larger areas like halls and open spaces, as opposed to house's and having to move around furniture.

Used it at work but not recommend for home
It works quite good on both carpet and floor tiles. The vacuuming power is strong enough to remove soil and small stones. The length of the cord is one of its strength. However, it is not lightweight and quiet enough. It will be a pain to carry around at home.

Would not recommend
this hoover is terrible on carpets and has trouble picking up slightly larger things on tiles. It's bulky and hard to manoeuvre and definitely doesn't do a good job. The henrys I have are old hoovers however my old Dyson still does a really good job and is older than the henrys. Would never buy this Hoover again.

Sensational
We use 2 Henry's in semi commercial environment. They have both performed very well, have excellent suction, are easy to manoeuvre and are very quiet. The dust bags are easy to fit and replace and they come with a good selection of crevice tools. The quality of the hose, fittings etc is very good. Highly recommended.

Edward (big brother) died after 25 years.
After 25 years of using Edward, I am more than happy with Henry. Very quiet and easy to use. Can vacuum the whole house from just 2 power points as the cord is a good length. Easy to change the heads. Plenty of suck. Made in England for reliability. Loved Edward and now love Henry. Paid $285.00 including postage from UK. Just had to get the plug changed to AUS.

Henry surprise
The biggest surprise with the Henry is how quiet the unit is (I had to check that I had switched it on). This vacuum cleaner has simplicity with suction that is amazing. You are able to dial the amount of suction for every surface you need to vacuum.
Henry is a small commercial class vacuum cleaner which is easy to assemble and pack up, has a long cord that is retractable and the unit moves easily with you. In the box you will find all the attachments along with a set of vacuum bags to get you started. Henry comes with a face...you may or may not chose to attach this. Henry is available in two colours - Blue or Red.

Excellent durable vacuum!!!
I have a large family and we go through vacuum cleaners on a regular basis. We've owned Dyson, Kirby, and plenty of other brands, but apart from the clunky-ness of the Kirby, the other brands have never lasted longer than a year or two. We vacuum daily (sometimes 2-3 times) so after further research I decided to try the Henry brand. I know changing bags (and having to buy them as an ongoing cost) could be seen as a 'con' rather than a 'pro' but the bag-less vacuums need to be emptied every day at our house. I found that the bag-less brands ...Read more
become less efficient over time (plus twice a year the removable parts needed a wash and clean to stop further inefficiency) and then buying and replacing the hepa filters...so replacing bags on the henry wasn't so bad after all. We have had past issues with the durability of parts (Dyson being one of the most disappointing) especially attachments pieces or hoses breaking. My children do use the vacuum so durability was a very important factor in choosing Henry ( the cute face on the drum making it more fun for them to use). We've had it now for well over 6 months and it's held up perfectly. The hose and electric cord are extra long making it easer to reach harder to get to places, and plastic material is extra tough. Suction also remains consistent. We change bags regularly (as it can smell a little if you vacuum up food particles and have them sitting in bags for too long). It can also be a bit harder to manoeuvre the canister around but as the hose is decent length you can cover a fair amount of the floor without dragging the canister every time. I'm very happy with the vacuum it's got strong suction, easy to replace bag, and the parts are strong and durable (that was an essential prerequisite). The attachments can be a little hard to pull off (the extension part of the handle) especially if you need to change hose for different height requirements but overall this has been the best vacuum by far for our busy needs.Similar opinion? not easy to use
the suction on this vac is ok but for a $500 vac its not easy at all to use you'll be walking back to guide it around corners it constantly tips over it doesnt have an automatic rewind it constantly comes apart meaning the hose the most frustrating vacuum cleaner i have ever used theres a lot better choices then this one.

Powerful suction but very heavy to use
We bought it due to the great reviews online and we have used it for 4 months. It has really powerful suctions compared to the few household grade models I had used previously. I personally find it quite heavy to use (mainly because I have to carry up and down stairs). Also, paying $400+ (incl shipping) for this was too steep for my liking.

What a difference to the last vacuum.
After our last vac, we are amazed at the powerful suction of the Henry. Our Previous vac would have struggled to suck the skin off a boarding house pudding. Not so with the Henry, it actually lifts the carpet from the floor. We are using it in a very large house - half carpet and other half tiles. It is very quite and easily maneuvered.
After making comparisons, we purchased Henry from 'double t appliances'. Included in the delivery price was an extra vacuum head dedicated to hard floors as well as 13 replacement bags and free delivery. The all up cost was $389.00.
We would highly recommend the HRV200-12.

Can't live without him
Excellent suction, easy to move around, very easy to pick up, quieter than expected. Large two level house to vacuum, including that carpeted garage which was always difficult to vacuum but able to get around quickly. Bought this because of its excellent reviews on this website and definitely not disappointed. Only used once first time today, received a few days ago. Eloctrolux motor burnt out after 4 years, probably due to the plaster particles after having some renovations done. Shouldn't worry this one.

Amazing! A house-proud dream come true!
I have a Hetty (the pink Henry) which I recently purchased after my prehistoric Dyson finally died. I was looking to get a new Dyson but after reading the many negative reviews on the latest models began looking elsewhere, and along came the name Numatic with their cheerful line of little workers. I purchased my Hetty at the local Godfrey's and also purchased an aftermarket wheeled rotator head for carpets (as many had recommended). A total just over $500, half of what I would have paid for a new Dyson. I am incredibly pleased with this vacuum'...Read more
s performance and delighted to say that it blows any Dyson out of the water! The suction is unbelievable, and that's before you hit the booster! The range of tools are very sensible and effective, and my $70 aftermarket carpet head makes my Hetty the full compliment expected of a house cleaning hero. Although it is heavier than most domestic vacuum cleaners to lift, I find it easy to pull along behind me and relatively quiet.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent Henry sucks like a trooper
Very pleased with this version of Henry, normal Henry wattage is around 500 watts. This 720 watt version with that little extra suction makes all the difference pulls really hard and makes out for a banging job. :) light weight and on casters, glides around the room fairly quiet in comparison to the 500w version. hardly any noise. I use Henry to suck the filth from everywhere.

Best vacuum I have ever owned!
After heaps of research we settled on a "Henry" and have been very happy since purchasing. This machine is VERY energy efficient and powerful which was important for us as we only have solar electricity. It has 2 power levels with max using only 1200 watts of electricity but we only ever use it on low setting (1000 watts) and the suction is as good if not better than any other brands we looked at (including Dyson and Miele) but using only half the electricity. Most vac's use double this!
It is also made in England which is a bonus for quali...Read more
ty, and being a commercial model the design, tools included, length of cord and hose is awesome. It is also a good size, follows you around the house really easily and weights in at 8.75kg. It uses both disposable bags and a washable filter which I didnt like at first as I wanted a bag-less but the collection capacity is HUGE so wont need to be replaced to often and replacement bags are ok priced. I figured commercial cleaners wouldn't use them if the cost of bags was too much. For around $350 an all-round 10/10 product no gimmicks just a quality product. Just be aware you will need to go to a commercial cleaning supply store to purchase (or online) as they are not available in retail stores. UPDATE: 12 Months later (Nov 2015) and still going strong....absolutely love it.1 comment

Built to last mine is now 15 years old & still going strong. I work as a housekeeper & have tried other models & this one has survived & beats the rest by far. Its been through the toughest even sucks up builders mess including sand & concrete with ease. Easy to wind extra long cord. Bags are inexpensive & last a long time. Love my Henry would never consider anything else.

Simplicity at its best
Plenty of power, light, simple, robust. If it ever did break you can buy parts instead of throwing it away which is very important to me in this day and age. After looking and researching vacuums to buy this was a clear stand out at an affordable price. Don't buy the cyclonic gimmick machines. Bags work out to be about $1.70each.

Which model is the best and is Henry good with animal fur? I have been through a LOT of vacuum cleaners and sick of it! I have used a Henry in housekeeping so know they are good but not sure what they are like with pet fur! I have 3 cats in at night and outside some of the day and a dog that comes inside in the evenings.

We have the yellow henry. We have 2 dogs 2 cats and 4 kids and I don't have an issue with hair.
We don't have animals but I bought a secondhand rug that had dog hair in the flat tight weave, I assumed I'd have to pull each one out by hand but I just used Henry and it was all picked up.
