Good service, apart from the fact that checkout ladies were talking the whole time
I bought a Fitbit versa instore and the whole time I was trying to checkout, they were gossiping from the start! There was no one in line but I had to wait a bit for the checkout ladies to realise I was actually waiting and they didn't even acknowledge me.

What has happened to Officeworks print service??
Officeworks has changed it's online print service system....and it is now incredibly inconvenient to use. They have removed some of the photobooks design options that were previously available ie. borders on photos, showing the degree of rotation on photos, gridlines on the page for alignment. I'm not a web design expert by any means but as a user who made a photo album just before the change and just after, the options that made this experience user friendly have simply been removed. Getting into my photo design projects also seems glitchy now...Read more
. The icing on the cake was trying to go through to the checkout (took a couple of hours for the page to become responsive) and then the site charging me a delivery cost on a $66 item when they have a clear banner stating free delivery over $55. So in order to avoid paying postage I have to pick up in store. So much for self-isolation. Email queries go unanswered and if I could give them no stars I would. I will take my business elsewhere from now on - Covid-19 no excuse for appalling service and web page.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Never deliver on time - AVOID THEM
AVOID OFFICEWORKS AT ALL COSTS!
over 3 attempts with this company over years every time they are shocking for their deliveries, i used to live in the city and did same-day delivery for a Hard drive i needed for work. they didn't SEND it for 5 days. it took 9 days to get to me when it was Guaranteed "same day" delivery. Fast forward to February 2020 I now live rurally and ordered a Desk i needed by March 20th. i bought it Feb 27th. it did not get to me until April 4th and was delivered to the wrong address. their phone lines have been down, the...Read more
ir emails are never replied and their twitter consists of ignoring anything you say to them and playing dumb "hi i didn't read your last comment directly above this one where you asked for a practical refund, did you get it yet?" "no, why is my delivery date being pushed back every day, why are others getting ahead of me in the queue?" "hi I'm a new person and didn't read your last comment directly above this did you get it yet?" "NO! i want a refund" no reply because I was trying to cancel it and just ignored me until the item finally arrived. my husband bought me a gift for my new office not thinking about it coming from officeworks on the 14th of April its now the 22nd and its still not even been sent. we will never go through office works again. worst service for online delivery and have been for years. just to give you an example of difference i bought a desk from Bunnings Warehouse on the 25th of march it got to my house on the 26th of march after being tired of waiting.Similar opinion? Very disappointed with online order
I usually buy Derwent pencils from a local shop, but they are temporarily closed due to coronavirus, so I saw that Officeworks sells them online and placed an order fir 4 pencils (together with other items). The first part of my order arrived OK, the second (containing the pencils, and only the pencils) took a long time to arrive, but that's not the reason for my review, as I am aware of the fact that parcels take longer to arrive at the moment. My complaint is about how the pencils were packed, or maybe I should say not packed. They had been t...Read more
hrown in a huge box with no protection whatsoever. The tips were broken, and although I haven't used them much yet, I am sure they are broken inside too. I don't know if we can post links in reviews, but whoever is interested can google the issue and you will see that they say to treat pencils very carefully and that even if a pencil hits other pens or pencils in a small case they might break, Pencils are not like pens and are extremely fragile. They cannot be tossed around in a huge box for days. I let them know 8 days ago, but they didn't reply. These pencils are now useless and I will have to buy them again when my local store reopens. In store they (Officeworks) are usually OK, but I will never buy from their online store again, and certainly not fragile items.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fast delivery during covid
Just wanted to say thanks to officeworks for their fast delivery. Have used a few times now to keep kids entertained during covid and their deliveries have been far faster than anyone else. Thank you!

What a joke
Purchased a chair online on 01 Apr 2020 (Click and collect). 2 weeks passed and no news. I was being reasonable due to Covid 19 and wait for another week and still no news. Finally I decided to ring HO. First call they will follow up with the store as the item has been despatched and no update. 2nd call they follow it up deeper by ringing the store straight away to find out. Good news... get a call from the store to collect. Went there to collect and guess what..... its the wrong item. HO sent the store the wrong item and I have to wait again. What a joke.

Impressed service.
My order showed that Officeworks gives the same attention to detail and delivery, no matter what size the item may be. I ordered USB sticks and they arrived as promised.

Almost totally useless web page
Can't get an answer on a product, is it not available on? is it available in store? Try the answer page does not have a reference to the actual description on their web page.
If you are going to have a web page with information make it usable would have been better with junk mail advertising.

Cheap and affordable
I find officeworks got cheap and affordable. It's hard to contact customer service though and you can't directly call a specific shop to ask for item availability hence giving them a score of "good" only. Attached is email notification as proof of purchase. I removed my contact details for safety purposes. So far I'm satisfied with the items ordered.

Worse thing about Corona Virus was OFFICE WORKS
Normal items taking more than 2 weeks to get delivered. You cant call the store, you need to physically go into the store and ask about your items because the tracking system obviously isn’t working.

Just in time
Having been working from home due to corona virus I found their levels of stock allowed me to get what I needed when other places were sold out, really good value - their printing rocks so if you need photos printed that's a good thing to get done at Officeworks when you're picking other stuff up.

Misleading and ever changing delivery times
I ordered a desk to work from home during the Kung Flu crisis. Before I paid my money it was billed as next day delivery. After I paid came the truth, that there were delays. Every day they said it would be delivered that day, and it never was. To make it worse, they have a ridiculously wide window, from 8am to 5pm - they can't even narrow it down to morning or afternoon, meaning it was a risk to go to the shops. After a few days I tried to cancel the order, but the only way is to phone their 1300 number. Good luck with that. I tried seve...Read more
ral times but gave up after long waits. The last time, after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I had a message "current waiting times are in excess of 70 minutes". I then went to a local Officeworks store to see if they could help, but they just directed me back to the 1300 number. So I still don't have it, Easter is coming up and I can't cancel. Great. I appreciate there is a crisis at the moment, but they should have been upfront about the delays and should not feed me consistently false information. There must be better operators out there.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

2 weeks to deliver from 4km away shop.
I have ordered Monday and got tracking the next day expected to arrive on Wednesday. And now I’m still waiting and expecting to receive in the next 10 days. Do not believe on their next day delivery it’s absolute rubbish! Do not trust their mailman service as well! They will take 2 months to arrive. Once I receive my current order I will never ever use any of the officeworks again. I never had a good experience with them. Absolutely bad customer service even their store which I went on Thursday.

Seems like Covid-19 Destroyed them!
I live rural and ordered a desk for “click and collect” that was in stock, with the estimate of it being ready in 2 hours. Later that day, I get an email saying it’s no longer in stock. Tracking says it will be in a few days.
Fast forward to now, over 2 weeks later. Tracking updates every few days to a later date (now next Tuesday), but the progress bar is not moving.
You can’t call them, and they cite Covid-19 as the reason. You can email them - I did - and they likely won’t reply. It’s been 16 days since my email.
Here is the issue, Covi...Read more
d-19 aside: their click-and-collect system has a “lag” because it’s tied to products on the floor, not in the back, and setting those aside is not a priority. A simple ‘sold’ sticker system would alleviate this, but they are clearly too cheap to do so. I have to go to a store to deal with this, which is a 1.5 hour drive away. I guess I’ll just wait until July when the desk is finally there, go get it and then never deal with them again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Futile delivery
Ordered an item on Saturday that was booked for delivery Tuesday. No one was home when the courier arrived, so the Futile Delivery Team (an apt name) sent me a text. I replied telling them I'd be home from work before 9am Wednesday (today). The item is now booked for delivery Thursday, with no guarantee there'll be anyone home to receive it. If I'd read the reviews on this site beforehand, there's no way I would have ordered from Officeworks Online and I certainly won't again. And apparently, Redland City is regional and isn't eligible for free...Read more
delivery. Update: The item actually arrived on the Wednesday, but it was in a box big enough for at least 6 of them, with no packing around it. It still doesn't show as delivered in their system, the next day.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fast shipping, user-friendly website, great selection, price and everything came as described
Ordered some kids art and craft supplies, website is easy to use with variety and great price. I was so surprised to see same day delivery for orders over 55 $ if order is made before 11.30. I gave it a try and so it did. It arrived the same day. Highly respected for those who made it happened during this Covid-19 crisis.

Removal of collage prints in new online photo ordering
In creating the new online photo system, it may be faster to upload (I am not sure as I didn't get to try this). Thankfully they kept the photos from my account that I had previously taken hours to upload, but they have taken away the simple collage print option away that was available in the previous system. This I require for my business to create collages of photos for the children (I just needed a 6 x 4 in half). WHy on earth has this option been removed! You will not get my business now for photos! This is all I need to print, and had a good price. Why on earth would you remove it! It makes no difference to you!

Epson A1 Printer sold with no ink
We purchased the Epson T3160N based on the cost and also the fact we had trouble with a previous HP Printer.
After spending $1200 you would think it would come with ink!
It comes with what it calls initial ink!
Printed 8 pages and it now says low ink and wont print.
Now have to spend another $300 on new cartridges!
Truly a disgrace on Epson's part as it was never mentioned in any literature or sales pitch.

My click and collect never arrives at my designated store. Looking at Officeworks tracking I see that the item has been “picked” at the wharehouse but delivery gets pushed back daily. This has been going on for over one month. What is going on? Impossible to phone Officeworks, they have turned off their phones and emails don’t get answered. Come on! Other companies are doing better than this despite Covid 19.

Yeah I experienced what you are experiencing at the moment, you can't phone the specific shop where you ordered your items. I emailed Officeworks but of no avail. All you can do is call 1300 OFFICE (633 423). That is their customer service hotline, it would take forever before someone attends to you but just wait. It took me roughly 30 minutes before a customer service representative assisted me with my inquiry. Good luck mate! Hope you get your items sorted.
