Biggest SCAM Dating Site
I thought this would be a good dating site as I am over 60 years old. I joined for one month but had to pay for 3 months. Within a few days of joining this site I realized that there were a lot of fake profiles on the site. It was very easy for me to notice this as I teach English to migrants and the fake profilers were consistently using incorrect grammar and there were many other irregularities. I then went online to look for reviews about this site and saw it had very bad reviews so I cancelled my subscription within the first week or t...Read more
wo of joining. Now the administration is saying I owe nearly $300 and they will pursue me for the debt. They didn't send me their link to cancel but I gave them written notice by email and I also sent a copy of all my correspondence to their overseas address all within their timeframe. I cancelled my credit card so they couldn't charge me but they are still sending emails and demanding payment. Can anyone advise me if they have been in a similar situation.Similar opinion? Cancel your credit card
You can't cancel your membership, they say they are sending you an email to confirm and it never arrives. Then they send you a link, don't use it, issues with that as well. Stay away from this site.

SCAM .... do not waste your time and money. 'So called' interested parties, ''disappear' once you make contact. Save your money! do not get conned to pay money for a service that 'you will not get'
When you contact them, they DO NOT RESPOND. I have had to cancel my credit card payment as they have debited my account for 3 months when in actual fact I chose a 1month subscription. SCAM

SCAM: AVOID
Be VERY careful. This is a scam. Terrible service. Some “matches” were over 1,000 kms away. They will keep debating your credit card. They will not cancel subscription and then send threatening emails. DO NOT do business with this company.

One big scam
Don’t waste your time and money. A lot of the profiles are fake and all they want is your money. They couldn’t even get the location of the country I live in correct.

terrible
Most of the users haven't accessed the site in months. No one responds to you. Some profiles appear fake. You can't update or delete your main pic and you can't delete your profile. Three times I've emailed them but no response. It's all a bit of a waste of time really using this site. I'm just glad I haven't paid any money. I would not recommend this site to anyone. It appears to just be a scam.

Scam scam scam!!
Luckily I haven’t paid any money. Set up a profile with my name only. Contents read test test test as I just wanted to Sussex it out first. I have been inundated with messages from allegedly women who like my profile! - all I had was a name, no photo, no profile.
The entire thing is total crap.

Like to accept your money immediately but come to cancel very hard to get back. Also no contact return or reply to my messages. Very disappointed with this program. Lm

Total scam
Crap profiles, not a single indication that there is one real profile. The only responses you get here is to take you down another scam path.

Don't bother with this one
I went to this site thinking it was the real thing, but unfortunately I found out that it was just a hot bed for scammers. The individual who sent me a wink, was not who she made out to be, her photos were too professional and I realised I had seen them before in a women's fashion magazine some time ago. Though stating that she was of German extraction she had a decidedly Philippine accent. It ended abruptly when I questioned her manner of speech and the language used in her emails. All of her emails were the same substance but appeared to be written by different people.

I believe this site is a total scam
I don’t believe the genuine people on this site receive your messages, I think they are mostly set ups who either send you winks etc or messages to get you in and take your money. I have only been on this site 3 days paid $80:00 but going to cancel out

Why no good dating sites--olderdating i just left---i dont have a credit card.
There needs to be somewhere where genuine older people can meet--why is this not funded by some body---loneliness is a health issue that needs to be addressed.

Olderage Dating - Do not go there....
The site is designed to a professional standard.
They were responsive to my queries I guess it depends how you approach them. Uncovered 2 scammers within a day, their photos were a dead give away just a little too professional looking, plus their wording in the messages I received were more or less identical.
I noted that within the space of a day or two my inbox was bombarded by a lot of "likes", "winks" and messages even generated from inactive accounts which raised red flags. At the bottom of the account it allegedly showed who was onl...Read more
ine or had come online, but this appeared to be false flags, it just creates the impression that there is alot active users but the tally did not match what showed after a search. Generally the grammar that is used, if it is used at all, is of a low standard, not that you would be expecting from someone who appears to be the native speaker of the English language. A scammer may make some excuse that they are not a "full member", "their membership is about to expire" when it is clear they never took one out in the first place, though some will have a subscription simply to give a profile a more authentic appearance. They will invite you to chat with them outside the site, normally gmail accounts are used and of course more "photos of themselves" to draw the unsuspecting in further in.Similar opinion? Pathetic!
The fakest dating site ever! They are just after your money. Watch out people! If you forget to cancel your subscription, they will keep taking your money and you can't communicate with any member before you pay.

Thanks to people who wrote reviews: I joined but had immediate concerns about the lack of transparen
Popped up on the internet and seemed to meet my particular needs. I was confusing and lacked transparency. The sign up process was easy and to its credit the exit process was easy.

Sorry
I wish I had looked at this review site before, they charged my card with out permission when I had said I wanted to cancel they offered another 2 weeks free then before the game nod of the 2 weeks they charged my card and will not answer my messages. There is no phone number to call to speak to a person.

Same here .. they advertise as free but hit you up for $$$ as soon as you try to REPLY to MESSAGES
This site .. get you in saying free. However as soon as you go to REPLY to anyone interested in you they DEMAND $79 payment.
FORGET IT .. Not interested and not recommended.

Not free website
The minute you message someone and get a reply, site wants you to pay at least $80 before you can read the reply you received.

No one is a fool for seeking what is a basic human need and that is companionship and we would like to think that those companies who provide such services are above reproach and no doubt there might be some that do while others simply follow those age old vices of this world of exploitation and greed to make a quick dollar over the vulnerable.
However, the other issue is that even if a company tries to be diligent in protecting legitimate users there will always be schools of sharks and chameleons circling out there in the digital world ready to pounce - the internet shines a very intense light on the fact that the world if full of unethical, unprincipled scumbags represented in equal measure by both sexes.
Laws can be circumvented and the fluidity of the internet any penalties that are imposed are temporary a company (it can be just one person) can set up the same operations overnight virtually, under another name and no one will be the wiser.
Given that companies that offer these services are not local to the country of their operations they would be difficult to prosecute given the permeable nature of doing business on the internet. A court could if the server is with that country's jurisdiction order it to be shut down but as soon as that is actioned all these scammers have to do is move countries.
The weight of evidence that would need to be collected and proven beyond reasonable doubt in a court to show that a company was committing fraud or scamming would be enormous as well as showing where the breaches in law have occurred.
In terms of cost of prosecution that too would run into many thousands of dollars a very long case that in the end may not bring about the desired result.
In this day and age the old maxim "Caveat Emptor" applies as does the statement about using the internet if it is too good to be true it is likely to be fake just leave and minimize one's losses as much as possible.
I can only agree with what Mr Smith has written above. But if only our government services could provide a free opportunity for safe meeting for folks that are so lonely and who refuse to join these commercial groups... or have been damaged by joining with them and paying for their dubious services. This would help with the health of the nation--we need a minister in charge of dealing with loneliness.....lots of chronic illness could be headed off as emotional issues affect physical health... of course... as is well known...Brenn
