Hi folks, I have the OAPC29 model which has been great thus far, however, the fan has stopped working. I have read the manual over and over, and tried everything. Any ideas or suggestions to reactivate the fan would be greatly appreciated.

Dismantle and see if the fans bearing is not clogged up, going further see the main board for any burnt capacitors or such.

Hi I was told by the sales
Consultant you don’t need to empty the water from this u it. That seems incorrect with the comments above. Also the fan grate is only half of the unit the other half of the fan grate is solid why is this. I’m not very happy with this purchase from Good Guys

Dehumidifier function will need water to be emptied, you will get a notification and unit shuts off..fan grille is designed for that specific airflow iam guessing.

This machine has an auto-water-evaporating system. Condensed-water
cycle is used to cool down the condenser, which not only improves
cooling efficiency, but also saves energy.
If inner water tank is full, “W.F” indicator will flashed on the screen, af ter 8
seconds the machine goes into standby mode, the buzzer beeps, the
compressor stops and all keys are invalid.
Pull out the plug to drain out water, power off the machine and restart it, the machine will run normall

I purchased a Omega Altise OAPC29 model on 17th October 2022 from The Good Guys, now after I drain the water and clean filters the water level rises internal then drips from the side where filters are situated. As it is under warranty can I return it to place of purchase and exchange for a new unit (same model) please.

No, its broken. I had the exact same issue last week. Took it back to Harvey Norman, and they replaced it with a similar one (but different brand).
I took mine back yesterday and they replaced it and it doesnt work either

I have purchased 2 air conditioners, the WF light on one in my room turns on and it beeps, so I drain it, (follow instructions), it turns back on but only continues to work for about an hour or so..sometimes a bit longer then does the same thing. Is there any reason for this or could it just be a fault in the air conditioner. The other one works fine.

I'm partly visually impaired . after reading some of the reviews about having to drain water from tank or plug ? Do you have to disconnect unit from hose to do this as ..this unit is in my bedroom and i have carpet ..and now worried that water will go everywhere...and if have to disconnect from hose everytime i will have to get someone to reinstall for me all over again ?

Hi Kaz unfortunately u do have to unplug the exhaust hose everytime i have the exact same problem I have to disconnect the hose from wall, slide it to my bath,lift it up and empty it like that but water escapes from underneath somehow so u need to keep it flat while doing all that, its hard for me to do so for u I'd imagine you'd need help, only other way is to put it on a milk crate or table to make it easier but then its too high and ya can't have it directly on you,my one is only 14 months old and this is its 1st full summer and it doesn't seem to be as cold now so im ringing them on Tuesday as its just not good enough, It has fairly good reviews thats y i don't understand why its so hard to empty, what a hassle it should have a removable water container i reckon, u should ring them on Tuesday aswell and c what they tell u im in two minds whether to take it back to be honest, Bad design especially for yourself and the elderly, what a joke.

Our windows are the old style ones that push out
So the gap down bottom is wider than top
