Only have it due to house and land package
The only reason Omega is in the market is that they can sell it cheap to the home builders to include in house and land packages.
I should have done my research before approving it for our new house.
It has a poor design and comes with less space.
Please do research about what items are included in your package deal from Builders. The minimum option with drying comes with 1.5 hours.
The 30 minute one doesn't dry the dishes which is standard in modern dishwashers.
Purchased in April 2021.

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever had
It doesn’t clean, have to wash by hand, even half loaded I still have to wash dishes after an intensive cycle . Cutlery is generally clean if I rinshed it before . Won’t clean cheese off of cutlery though even if I rinse it first .
Purchased in July 2021 at The Good Guys.

Absolute piece of rubbish!
This was installed in my rental house as a replacement for a circa 20 year old Dishlex which had broken. The Dishlex (unbroken) was much better.
Where do I start? It feels far flimsier than the old Dishlex for starters. I doubt it will still be working in five years, let alone 20. The wine rack, half the size of the one in the old machine, won't fit full size wine glasses, only tasting ones, and only two of those. The drying cycle might as well be non-existent.
The biggest problem is that a 'normal' load of dishes takes 2 hrs 50 minutes!!! An...Read more
d the dishwasher uses so little water (11 litres per wash) that there is not enough water to wash as many dishes as the previous dishwasher did. Previously, I could stack things like large mixing bowls, lightly soiled pans and chopping boards on the edges and over the top of a rack of dishes, now there is not enough water splashed around to clean those, so I have had to start doubling the amount of dishwashing runs I do - that's now almost six hours for a load that used to take 1 to 1 and 1/2 hrs. The energy use is high despite the water use being low - surely it's more efficient to double the water and halve the length of time it takes to wash things instead :(. You can't do any washes shorter than 'normal' if you use dishwashing tablets, the plumber who installed it told us any less and they won't dissolve properly. In answer to the particular review questions, the setting performances are pretty much the same. Choosing an 'intensive' wash does not clean the amount of dishes I used to be able to do. Three of the six program choices (the ones less than 'normal' wash) are unusable with dishwashing tablets.Purchased in June 2021.

Great performing Dishwasher only letdown by some stacking issues
We bought this dishwasher to replace a failed Westinghouse unit. They had a promo listing it for $399. Managed to nab it with an extra 10% off on one of their sales, bringing it down to $360 odd making it a great deal.
Installation was easy since it used all existing plumbing from the old unit. Performance wise, it does a decent job. We generally use the eco mode 30 minute wash which mostly does a good job but we have found it does leave residue on some items, though i can also admit they we may over load the stackers sometimes. The unit is...Read more
relatively quite so no complaints there. The top tray can also be moved up and down though we have yet to find a real use for this. Some issues we have encountered though. On the Eco mode, we regularly find that the dishes do not dry effectively, leaving a lot of moisture on some items in the unit. We also have found that the wine glass stacker is somewhat useless with larger wine glasses as they don't fit without pressing them in really hard to clips and they tend to hit the top of the dishwasher when closing the top drawer. Otherwise the unit works well and has been trouble free since purchase and installation. For the price we paid, it has been excellent value.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Just put your cups and plates back in the cupboard after you have used them and save some time
We have had ours for 3 years, it came with the house. Was good for the first few months then after that it started essentially being useless. I have to wash the spray arms constantly which given the design of them isn't an easy job. The little plastic clips that hold the wire racks up went within the first year but nothing a few cable ties won't fix. It rarely washes properly. And the beeping. It beeps for everything and you can't turn it off. If you leave the door open say to get 1 thing out of it and don't click it shut or turn it off which kids never ever do it will just keep beeping every 30 seconds till you do something about it. Drives me insane

Does the job really well
This dishwasher was really cheap and yet it works really well. The only issue I have with it is that it has a cutlery basket instead of a drawer (which I prefer). The 90 minute cycle is quick and very hot - and cleans everything beautifully. I have no complaints - it's a bargain for the price.

It's OK
The settings are good with this one. Performance is fine. Dishes do have to be pretty clean before putting into the dishwasher or it becomes clogged easily. Easy enough to clean though. My biggest complaint is that normal sized dinner plates do not fit in without stopping the fan from spinning, we have tried 3 different plates and they're all the same, so obviously it needs to be remodeled so the plates can fit in & the fan can spin to clean the load.

The door was stained on delivery, I am so disappointed as all my appliances were purchased at the
I always rinse the dishes and honestly I’m happy with the dishwasher just the ugly staining on the door spoils my whole kitchen and will never buy Omega appliances again. Omega know this is a problem and should correct their quality control before sending appliances out to the stores for selling

Has some surprising features...
At first I was happy with this dishwasher.
However, after a few washes, I realised that the spinning arms caught lots of bits of food (even when the dishes were rinsed with no signs of food on them! I mean it's like it's magically conjuring them up, we found carrot clogging a sprayer hole when we hadn't had carrot for weeks! This feature should really be put to a more useful occupation like curing world hunger because it is not welcome in a dishwasher...).
Then my happiness evaporated even further when I discovered the arms guarded these ...Read more
magical "food bits" with all their might. You cannot gain access to the arms to steal these magical "food bits" at all.... They are more secure than Fort Knox... You can, quite conveniently, remove the arms from their housing so you can tap them rythemically against the bench like a deranged neanderthal trying to summon the random "food bits" spirits... But there is no way to wipe or clean the inside of the spraying arms thoroughly, thus rendering it's whole existence of cleaning and hygiene to take on a pale and apparently useless appearance... But fear not! All is not lost... This strange and twisted beast actually did go on to have a long and glorious future as a useful bench in my kitchen, holding more and more clutter until one day the fair maiden of the house cried "Enough!" and cleared it all away.... But magically the clutter started to reappear again and again, no matter how many times it was cleared away it always came back.. The Omega never again washed dishes but it certainly did become a well used feature of my kitchen... Just not in the way I had imagined. It seems that no matter what you end up doing, the magic always seems to shine through.....Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Just okay
Have had to call the plumber out twice for repairs and always just out of warranty period. I only use it when there is a full load so maybe three times per week. Depending on the dishwasher tablets, it can sometimes get blocked where the water jets are. Happy with the look of the item though. I normally just quickly rinse dishes before I put them in.

Don't waste your money!
Just over 12 months old and the writing for the programs to work it is fading off without any hard cleaning or wiping. Company replacing the door as still under warranty but once out of warranty, its our problem. given the little use, its almost certain to happen again, as its an obvious fault, but the company don't want to hear about it. They are very unreasonable to deal with on the phone. No one should pay good money and buy a product and have things going wrong after just 12 months. My sister has had a fisher and paykel 2 draw washer for 11 years and the writing on both draws is still as good as the day she got it.

Does not clean.
Cons:
Dishes, glasses and cluttery always come out dirty. Even with longer cycle, rinse aid, not extra dishes and pushing back top tray.
Even washing the while dishwasher regularly, the filters and water spinning wands.
Pros:
Quiet
Terrible product overall. Will buy a new one so a waste of Money.

No More Omega
Very disappointed in this dishwasher. Bought a brand new home with this dishwasher in it and it only lasted under three years. Smoke filled the house and we were nervous about turning it off. Not used a lot as there only two of us, so I'm glad we didn't need it for the family or it may not have last that long. Never again.

Terrible. Wish I researched before the builder installed
Had for 5 years because this is what the builder installed when we built the house. Wish I did some research because it seems terrible to me. Have to hand wash lots of stuff after a wash. Gets funky smells even after I try everything to clean it.
Yeh not getting an Omega again.

affordable and OK
This dishwasher takes a long time to finish (over 3 hours) and doesn’t dry the dishes properly even when using the extra drying cycle. It washes ok as long as you rinse and scrape the plates really well, buy the high end tablets and put the tablets in the bottom of the actual dishwasher (don’t use the container). It is a very affordable dishwasher so it is an OK purchase as long as you are happy to put in the extra time to rinse well before and dry everything after. Sometimes I do wonder whether it would be easier to just hand wash everything!

Its doing great so far!
This dishwasher is really quiet, I barely even realise its on. My dishes come out really clean better than hand washing. The only thing is that the drain hose is a bit short, and the fact that omegas customer service are slow and delayed. Upon using my dishwasher for the first time it had an error come up, nothing major but I worked out and fixed the problem but the error message didn’t disappear, when I contacted them, they were slow at responding and wanted to send a service man out to fix it after I already resolved the issue.

mprovement could be the child lock system. When you turn child lock on it means that if the child oresses buttons it doesnt change the settings, but a child could still open the door or turn the power button on and off. Im just lucky my 2 year old isnt strong enough to open the doshwasher door I bought the dishwasher at a great price too and it was a bargain at half price! I have no problems now with dishwasher and im glad I purchased it. It helps me out alot sonce I havent got much time now to do dishes, having a 2 year old and twin newborns.Similar opinion? Not a fan, for a multitude of reasons
We've had this dishwasher now for more than two years and it's my first Omega product. While it's been a sturdy workhorse, the horse has some marked defects which mean I couldn't ever recommend it:
- As others have noticed, wash performance is hit and miss. I've found that dropping the tablet into the bottom of the dishwasher so it gets started in the rinse cycle has helped somewhat.
- Tray layout isn't the worst that I've ever seen but it certainly isn't the best either. Can't describe exactly why it doesn't work for me, but this is perha...Read more

Not a fan
We had this for dishwasher for 4 years. I found I was needing to rewash dishes most of the time because they weren’t coming out clean regardless what washing tablet I’d use. It was quiet while running and I did like that there was a lot of options for cycles.

Dont waste your money
Honestly the bigger piece of poop weve ever wasted money on, had it fixed twice, its out of warrent now and of course crapped itslf, spends 70% of its life blocked, beeping E4 or leaking, it was great at first but i wish i had read the reviews before we brought it.
