I paid 408 on amazon for Pentair sand shark but seem to have gotten an onga sand shark. What is the difference? Why the purchase different than what the box says?

My Pool Shark has stopped moving. For a while it would move slowly, then not at all even when the filter is on, so the pool is not being cleaned. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check bumber is OK, the weight on the hose in right spot or check water is in the hose, hose should vibrate if running

I moved weight back up the line and it seems to be working fine. Thank you for your time

My grey Pool Shark operates in a saltwater pool. The rubbers on the bumper handle keep splitting in only a few months. The chlorine is sometimes over 3 ppm but only occasionally when there is no swimming. Is this product fault? I know of one where the splitting occured where the chlorinator was faulty and no chlorine was being added to the pool. What happens in a chlorine pool?

My pool shark only travels three quarters of the pool then turns back. Any ideas?

How long is the pipe? If it is too short it will go back, needs some slack to reach the other end.

Hi Scott try twisting the joints of pipe near the shark head and the next couple along . This changes the direction the pool cleaner travels, it might help.

I have the Onga pool shark and it plugs into the wall of my pool, however that whole had a problem and we had to close it up. My question is can we convert/ buy an attachment that will allow me to plug it into my skimmer as the pool maintenance guy uses when he cleans the pool?

thanks.
Doug

My pool shark plugs into the skimmer box, its the only way I can connect it . I actually use a Kreepy crawly plate that goes on top of the waste basket . Then connect an elbow then connect the hose from your pool shark onto the elbow . You will need to adjust the skimmer control on the plate, otherwise you will have to much suction at the pool shark . Then adjust the valve on the pool shark and away you go . Only problem with this is the water level must be kept up, but this is the way my pool shark is connected, and it works perfectly . I'm sure your pool cleaner guy can show you exactly what plate you need to do this, then you can let him know his services are no longer required!!

There are parts available on a few online pool shops, just google it. I had to replace a few bits on my Pool Shark.. but be warned, parts are expensive.. and they didn't last. Follow this link, it's one of a few shops. http://poolandspawarehouse.com.au/spare-parts/pool-cleaner-spares/onga/onga-poolshark-spare-parts.html

Yes all are readily available, expensive and do not last more than a season or two.
