Happy Customer
I am delighted with the Optimum 600 3rd Generation. It is very easy and quick to use with maximum juice output. Also is quiet and non messy when putting fruit and vegetables through the machine. Therefore very easy to clean and only the juicing parts need cleaning not the outside unit which I had experienced with my other brand machine. Simplicity of cleaning means I can use every morning even when time is short, which enables me to juice twice a day with ease and have quality juice every time.

Worth the buy
This is the one! If you are interested in juicing look no further, a great juicer that gets the most out of your produce with no loud motors and less cutting needed make a lot of juice quick and easy.
Personally I make a few liters at a time and refrigerate than last 3 days in correct containers
Enjoy.

This is the juicer I’ve been waiting for!
This juicer was recommended to me by a nutritionist and I just knew that if she recommended it then it would be the best. It truly is an amazing juicer and I am so happy with the quality and the functionality. I love the sound of the vegetables crunching in the slow juice motor, you can just feel all the nutritious goodness being squeezed out! This is the only juicer that I would recommend to those wanting to look after their health, vitality and well being. It’s super easy to clean, has a backward reverse function for anything that gets stuck. So it’s ultra easy to use and get the most out of your juice! Excellent product!

Quality Machine
Have used this amazing juicer everyday since I purchased it 2 months ago to make my morning celery and apple juice. Machine is quiet, doesn’t clog up, is easy to clean, and quick to assemble. It’s also quick to make nut milks (almond, macadamia, hazelnut) and pulp comes out fine and dry, which I use for baking. We love it so much we took it away in our caravan camping!

User friendly juicer
This is my 3rd slow juicer. I have found this 3rd Generation juicer to be the best I have owned. I make around two litres of juice every second day. My 3rd generation juicer is very efficient in the quality and quantity of juice it produces.Machine is quiet, hardly every stops because of over sized portions and is easy to clean. Highly recommend this juicer to prospective users.

Best juicer I have ever used
Fantastic juicer for all types of fruit and veg including leafy greens. It handles large pieces of veg and whole apples no problem at all. Also quick and easy to dismantle and clean. I have owned 4 juicers over the years and this is by far the best. The quality of juice is second to none.

Product not the same as advertised
We just received the Optimum 600 3rd generation as advertised by Froothie. The videos and wording all indicate a wide mouth juicer, with a large 8cm mouth. At no point in time did the site indicate that this unit will not come like the one advertised. The one we received has a small opening at the top, with a small tamper. It also has a large opening, that gets closed off by a flap when opened. The almond milk recipe on you tube shows the use of a ladle to feed the machine. On this unit, feeding anything with a ladle would be impossible.

e warranty on the site says lifetime on motor and 5 years on parts. The included warranty booklet contained in the box says only 2 years is provided. With longer warranties available through third parties. The site/advertisement videos show that the unit can make sorbet, etc with a blank grate, but the unit didn’t come with this attachment. These points are concerning on a couple of different levels. Why make such a fuss over the improved large mouth and shorter prep time if the unit supplied don’t even have that functionality? I truly can’t believe that any modern (online) company would even attempt to get away with something like that.4 comments

I use this every day!
The Optimum 600 Juicer is a pleasure to use I use it for vegetable juices mainly but also make home made electrolyte using orange and lemon juice as a base, then adding Himalayan Pink Salt and raw honey. It doesn't take much effort at all to clean as the pulp remaining in the juicer loosens up with water added after juicing is complete. The filter works beautifully and pure juice pours out into the jug when the cover of the shute is open. The juicer is very well designed and made.

nefits of fresh juice but used to dread the time consuming process every single day. No more! Faster preparation of fruit and veg, quieter operation and super fast cleanup make my Optimum Juicer a pleasure to use. The whole family enjoys the pure pulp-free juices I prepare. I make natural electrolyte drink by adding filtered water, raw honey and Himalayan Pink Salt to combined orange and lemon juice. Fruit and veggie juices are prepared daily and are handy for ensuring we have proper nutrition even if life gets really busy or anyone is not feeling well. This is the third juicer I have owned and is so superior to the first two that I can't imagine how it could be improved.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not what was advertised to us... Disappointed.
We ordered the Optimum 600 3rd Generation cold press juicer because of what we saw advertised online.
It was advertised to make juices, smoothies, ice cream, nut butters, tofu etc.
It was also advertised to have a wide mouth to juice whole apples and larger fruits and vegetables.
On top of having to wait nearly a month for it to arrive (it was on pre-order however there were many delays), when we unpacked it a lot of the pieces advertised (such as a blank strainer and ice cream attachment) were not there.
We contacted Froothie to ask about ...Read more

I would like to sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our company. We take pride in our commitment to customer service and I see we have seriously failed in this instance. Such matters the team and I take immensely seriously as demonstrated by the thousands of online reviews on various websites in Europe, Australia and recently the US. I am aware you have experienced a lengthy delay in fulfilling your order and I understand how this has generated frustrations and distrust. I would also like to apologise for the advertising error on our website about the Optimum 600 3rd Generation being supplied with a blank strainer. The part was not available in the original shipment we received but it is now included in each Optimum 600 3rd Generation. Making nut butters, ice cream and sorbet is a breeze now The Optimum 600 3rd Generation is the latest juicer we have launched. We understand that we have currently a limited number of videos showing the product in action but we are working hard with our partners to get new videos released for our customers. We will post those on our YouTube channel as soon as available. Once again, I apologize if you feel we did not live up to your expectations and I want to thank you for the feedback you provided as it helps us to further improve our services. In case you have any other questions, I will be more than happy to personally help, so feel free to get in touch anytime at [email protected]. I sincerely regret these inconveniences and hope to regain your trust as a Froothie customer. :) Respectfully, Andrea M Customer Relationship ManagerSimilar opinion? Contrary to claims, a nightmare to clean
I am utterly baffled at everyone repeating the company's claim that it is easy to clean - it is a nightmare, takes a good 10-15 minutes of rinsing and scrubbing even when done immediately after use, and has one bit that is supposed to be given a final wash differently from the rest/not in detergent - I never would have bought it had I known, I don't want a glass of juice so badly as to waste all the many litres of rinsing water involved - may be worth it for large families/households, but otherwise forget it.

Hello Ferris,
My name is Francois, General Manager Froothie Australia. ... Read more
I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you have encountered with our Optimum 600 3rd Generation Cold Press Juicer and your disappointment saddens me. Quality is paramount, our entire business is built on the slogan “Quality you can trust”, and therefore even isolated cases are taken very seriously by Froothie and Optimum. Your Optimum 600 3rd Generation Cold Press Juicer is a high quality, superior appliance, meant to be a devoted and powerful assistant in your day-to-day kitchen activities. It was not designed solely for large families/households and our engineers spent months making sure the appliance is easy to use and especially easy to clean. We are aware that the dreading cleaning part is the #1 reason juicers are forgotten on the kitchen bench, left to gather dust, and we definitely wanted to avoid this with our product. I would like to share a few tips you can apply to make the cleaning process a lot easier - these are tricks that can be used for the Optimum 600 3rd Generation as well as for any other masticating or cold-press juicer (as they all operate the same). Before you try to separate the juicer parts, please try the following: • Rinse two glasses of water through the slow juicer. • Add a glass of water, while the drain valve is closed so that the water remains in the juice cup. • Press the reverse button. This ensures the pulp is pushed-out of the juicer. • Open the drain valve to allow the water to flow out. • Open the lid and remove the pulp. To clean the remaining parts, it is best to use the supplied cleaning brush. Also using the cleaning method above will make the disassembling process easier, and it is best to do this immediately after juicing. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. If there is anything else I can do to assist you and to regain your trust in our brand feel free to get in touch at [email protected] and I will be more than happy to personally help. Respectfully yours, Francois N Froothie Australia General ManagerPlease note that I never tried the suggestions above offered by Froothie's General Manager, so I can't say how much difference they would have made. Also that Froothie were customer-focused enough to refund 80% of the price.

Efficient and Easy to Clean
I purchased our Optimum 600 cold press juicer in December. We have used it extensively since then ... nearly every day. It is very easy to use with the wide mouth being able to take whole fruits (however we do cut apples and big fruit in half as it just makes the job easier). The trick with cleaning it is to wash it out immediately after use. If fruit or vegetables dry in it yu will need to scrub it. Otherwise, it is just a simple rinse.
Generally, it is not a noisy machine but it does depend on what you are juicing. Carrots make it noisier b...Read more

Perfect
Daily use for 10 months now and not one hiccup. Handles hard veggies like beetroot, carrot and ginger with ease. Tons of juice extracted with not a huge amount of pulp left. As with juicers I've had in the past, there are quite a few parts to clean but once you are in a daily routine of juicing it doesn't seem too much of a hassle. The yummy result is worth it. Since discovering fresh turmeric, I have noticed yellow staining on jugs but lots of spices play havoc with non-stainless containers. Great product. Exchanged for the wider mouth which is fabulous as it cuts down on chopping time.

Very good quality juice!
Very good quality juice. It encouraged me to eat more kale and ginger, as I can easily add it to my juice. It is enjoyable to use, seeing all the fruit and vegetables get churned. I do not find the noise intrusive. Big drawback is the time consuming and tedious nature of cleaning everything up. I am unfortunately using it less frequently because of this.

great juicer can juice everything
This is a great juicer for green vegetables. I use it juice 3 liter celery juice with no stop no cutting celery. The juice speed is fast, juice quality is great. But it hard to clear as too many edges hard to reach. This juicer definitely the best even compare to new models.

Juices Everything I Throw At It
I have gone through numerous centrifugal juicers, finding that they last about the length of the warranty and then they end up in the tip. After purchasing from Froothie previously, when my last juicer burnt out, I decided to try a slow juicer. I got this one o sale, making it more appealing. I have juiced just about everything I can think of with this machine, and nothing phases it. It does have other functions like making frozen fruit ice-cream, but I haven't bothered with them. It's not as noisy as my previous juicers, meaning I can hold ...Read more
a conversation with my husband while I'm juicing. I use it 2-3 times a week and juice in batches. It has never overheated or struggled with anything. I am expecting to have this machine for a long, long time. Cleaning is no different than any other juicer, there are chutes and baskets to clean. I clean mine by hand as I am not sure that a dishwasher does various parts any favors based on past experience. It probably takes me about 15 minutes to wash it all up. Froothie is an amazing company to deal with. I have brought 3 appliances from them now, and their sales and service people are excellent.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

12 months on, still the best juicer.
I've had the big mouth Optimum 600 for almost a year now and it's still going strong.
Not only does it do a great job of crushing fruit and vegetables into fine quality juice, but it also makes frozen fruit icecream.
I've had failed juicers by other brands and deafeningly loud dessert makers, the Optimum 600 replaces them and does a better job and quietly.
After an extended juicing session, if the bowl feels difficult to lift (this is not unusual with auger juicers), simply put in reverse for a few seconds. Then it will easily lift off. ...Read more
It might be good practice to just put it in reverse a few seconds when you've finished juicing before removing the shute and bowl for cleaning. Cleaning is very simple and only takes a few minutes. Highly recommended.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Happy for the most part
I'm happy with most of the juicers abilities.
I have never owned a juicer so have nothing to compare it to, however I do find it struggles moving very stringy vegetables, like celery, wheatgrass or Rhubarb, from the main container, through the chute to the pulp jug. I have to be sure to run them through last, if not its struggle town.
Also, when it gets blocked the machine heats up and warms the juice.
It is nice and quiet as advertised.
Wide mouth is handy.
Cleaning is easy enough except removing all pulp from the basket mesh.
It has been a positive addition to my nutrition.

So happy with our purchase!
We were recommended the Optimum 600 from friends that also loved their purchase and use it regularly. It's great that you don't have to cut the veggies up too much also!! (Except the celery, so the strands don't get caught on the way though!). We use our juicer a couple of times a week and jar the juice to use over 2-3 days!

Best juicer ever
Have been juicing for over 40 yrs & last 2 juicers have been single speed cold press juicers which lasted approx 10yrs. Changing to a vertical juicer with large auger has been best decision ever. This juicer has been so well thought out & is the easiest to clean of all juicers I've ever known. It's quick, leaves the least amt of pulp & totally the best design. Am thoroughly enjoying the love affair with my new juicer & is money so well spent.

Questions & Answers
Graceasked
Have had this juicer for a couple of months now, and it was producing beautifully smooth juice up until a week ago. It now comes out quite textured and pulpy. I have not made any changes in my juicing routine and use the same fruits and vegetables everyday. Can this be solved?

The Wozasked
Hello do you have a juicer for wheatgrass?
1 answer
Athena Solutions Pty LtdOptimum Appliances
Hello The Woz,
definitely we do :)
Where the H3000 2nd Gen has the advantages it:
1. It has the wider chute so you can juice bigger fruits without cutting (Like whole apples)
2. It has the vacuum function which basically means you can store your fresh juice and it'll keep fresh for longer. (It's quite a noticeable difference actually)
You can see a bit more about vacuum sealing the juice in our article here about the VAC2 Blender. It also uses vacuum sealing for the juices and smoothies:
https://smarterfitter.com/froothie-optimum-vac2-air-vacuum-blender-review/
3. It has a built-in warming function for things like baby food.
4. It also has pulp control, so you can decide how you like your juice :)
Here are some videos where you can see the H3000 2nd Gen in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTb7_4ZZ7dE&list=PL1dicojIF63peEIOIbhzdY0UmijHkcwiN
Where the 600M wins in:
1. It's more compact, so easier to have on your kitchen bench
2. It's better for juicing leafy greens and celery
So it really depends on what you're looking to use it for :)
I hope this helps!
3. The 600M actually yields more juice, about 10%-20% more than the major brands on the market, including centrifugal.
Here is the 600M in action: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1dicojIF63p2u7kSit4yM-LOo_e_VJti
It's also a few $ cheaper!
Here is a detailed overview about the specifications:
600M: 40-45 rpm, 200 watts, 3.8 x 4.8cm chute size, 34 x 17 x 36.5 cm (LxHxW), weight: 3,56kg
600Pro: 70 rpm, 300 watts, 7.6cm chute size, 40cm x 40cm x 21cm (HxLxW), weight: 3.5kg
No matter which juicer you choose they are both amazing juicers :)
And don’t forget we offer an unconditional 30-day money-back-guarantee
I hope this helps :) If there's anything else I can help out with please let me know!
