EPL coverage is an absolute JOKE
Where do you start. Optus are an absolute joke. The coverage of the world cup. Thank god for sbs. Now watching the first game of the new EPL season and it just hasn't got any better. How the hell did this jokers still able to broadcast the take money for a service that is just sub standard.
All i can say is the sooner they take it off optus due to the fraudulent claim optus have made to get people in
The sooner Foxtel get the rights back the better. Thanks to optus they have managed to ruin what is an absolute passion.
As far as i am concerned Optus can go to hell
Pure crap
Want a phone contact number instead of this chat crap....taking away phone contact so they can hide the fact you talking to overseas people who cant speak English well enough to understand....
Customer retention.
So I thought I'd give Optus a chance at retaining my custom despite not being happy. I'm currently on hold to the third team who can offer me "good stuff" 37 minutes 9 seconds into this Optus journey I receive a message to say the team I need to speak to is closed would I like a call back? Umm let me think....nope.
Careful: Optus sales people will mislead you about Fetch TV cots
I was told, in three occasions, that my new plan would be at the very same cost as the previous. They are clearly misleading customers by saying that Optus Sport is free... never did they mention Fetch TV so, to my surprise, now they charge extra AUD 30. When I complain they say that Optus Sport is free but not Fetch TV (Which they never mentioned on the first three conversations).
Absolutely disgusting. I dont understand how they are allowed to continue trading.

Worst telecasts. No HD content. Beware people!!
I am using optus fetch TV, one of the worst telecast I've ever had. There is no HD content and I have a 75inches UHD 4k television. I Purchased to watch world cup soccer. But entire Australia soccers fans know what happened with their telecast. They are charging $55 per month (Sold SIM plan for $35 + $5 Optus Sports + $15 for Fetch Box = $55 total) without HD content. The image is so blurry on TV while watching sports. This telecast is worth not more than $10. I don't understand how Australia govt encourage this type of scams. I love soccer so ...
Read moregot this for epl. But man., not at all satisfied with the telecast. I am confused for a second imagining which century we are in? 4k technology TV but 720p telecast. I think Optus must cut down on the charges for the fetch. Not really worth it. Guys Netflix charges $19 for 4K UHD contents for different genres to be watched. Why should we pay $55 for watching Soccer? Don't you think it is a rip-off? Just because you won EPL rights for the next few years it doesn't mean we pay off that money for you.Quality tv. And no issues in our area
Quality tv. And no issues in our area, Earlwood in the inner west of Sydney. Hopefully they can extend this service across the city & country for others.
Annoyed
Fifa world cup 2018 games keeps freezing while watching, streaming is so slow to be honest. Its better to watch on sky, dont waste money on this optus sports
terrible quality
I am not sure who allowed optus to be the provider of FIFA WORLD CUP. The quality is soooooo poooor that it is quite hard to watch the matches (sometimes do not see the ball !!!!!!!) why you have done it to the fans of soccer??????????

Overall quite satisfied with Fetch Mighty by Optus
Perhaps I am lucky - but I have had no issues at all with Optus Fetch - including watching World Cup. I cannot recall a time I have had to reset the box (in fact, it fires up very quickly). The kids use it for Netflix and Stan - and they seemed to have mastered it quite well. It would be nice to have a little more content options such as Foxtel Now app - but I guess that is not going to happen considering Optus and Foxtel are rivals. Still, I cannot complain for the price (free on my bundle)!
Optus sports a con job!
This is past farcical. This is fraud! Charging for a service Optus cannot deliver. The premier league coverage wasn’t great for starters but the WC 2018 has completely ruined it. Clearly Optus have no infrastructure and or know how, how on earth did optus win the tender to broadcast football in Australia.
I’m cancelling all my services with Optus tomorrow.
Rubbish
Ruined my world cup experience. Simply gone blank and not working. This is absolutely disgraceful for such a professional organisation in such a high level event.

Get your act together Optus Sport!
Optus has exclusive rights and continue to stuff it up!! Live stream keeps cutting off, mixing sound...unwatcheable! You cant fastforward if you "start from the beginning" and sometimes they move you to real time and you miss the whole lot!. I cant watch the games. Optus you have a responsibility to make this work! Get your act together NOW!!
You are ruining the World cup for me!!

Super duper slow
Paid for a service but not worthy at all. Epic fail. Should not have wasted my time and money on this crap service
Worst experience yet
Dont even think of purchasing optus sport. Resets every 1 min ...sometimes even worst than that. you are literally reloading and resetting connection till the whole game ends. you even cant watch a single min of live action without disruption..nightmare!!!!

Delay and buffers during game time
I deleted the app straight after i purchased it. Shame on Optus for not delivering the standard quality of picture. I lost the money, advice to all dont but the app. Hopeless. Would not believe its not broadcast to fox sports. Optus Sport, bad bad decision.
Horrible
Would not recommend to anyone, worst thing to ever happen! Can’t even watch football without some interruption and it’s always buffering!!!!
What a joke
Trying to watch the soccer world cup
STREMAING ISSUE - Please check internet....

Horrible broadcaster
Paid $14.99per month to watch buffering. What a rip off to customers? Optus should refund the whole money for not being able to provide viewers with quality service after charging them the price.
Terrible experience!!!
Can't watch a full 30sec of any game live in the world cup.. even with high speed NBN!! Obviously you are not good enough to handle such a major event so please fix it or leave it to someone else who can next time - don't ruin our world cup experience ever again!!!

Absolutely disgusted with the poor quality viewing. Unacceptable by any standards, even by low quality Optus/Singtel brand.

No problems at all for me
Had Fetch Mighty for 12 months trouble free.
Great for EPL and rather pay for the odd series such as Peaky Blinders than get ripped off by Foxtel paying over the top for mainly things I don’t want.
Better recording show and fast forwarding ads instead of Catch up where you have to watch them all.
About to order a Fetch mini for multi room.
Hope it’s as good as the Mighty
The whole lot will only cost $15 month
2 years ago I was paying Foxtel $160 month,!!
Criminals!!!

The most stupid device I own
This device wins the title of being the most stupid device I have ever owned.
Without a power on/off button in the device itself, and the daily trouble that i face to get it starting in the right way, while the trouble shooting instructions requesting you to restart the device in this occasion, this is just stupid.
It happens every day to me, sometimes the device requests to start configuration and set up from the beginning asking for the network passwords and the activation codes, and start searching for the channels again.

Fetch tv
We have been trying for six months to get optus to fix our nbn and more than six weeks to get Optus to fix our Fetch tv. We have never had so many problems with Optus and their equipment and service. Every time we call, it’s a different story as to what the problem is.
Don’t put yourself through the many many problems we and many others have. Google the many bad reviews and see for yourself, go with someone who provides the service you want.

It does OK
We had our Fetch TV as part of the internet bundle with OPTUS and we got all of the channels. I was expecting that it would be connected via cable like foxtel but it's streaming through the internet which most of the time gives it a terrible quality because it would depend on the strength of your internet. The channels that they have available are OK, I like to watch my MTV music channels, disney channel and a few others but I suppose that they can probably invest in adding more channels to be able to compete with foxtel. The movies that they h...
Read moreave available every month is so old and most of them are rubbish, it's things that you see on stan and netflix, they should put in newer and better rated movies since we are paying money for this service! I just like how they have the features of series tags, recordings, fast forwarding, pausing and rewinding like foxtel but that's probably about it. I do recommend it if you want some extra channels at a low price since foxtel is charging a ridiculous amount but at the same time, it's not a must-have that I would recommend.ieatwords.com.au has affiliate partnerships.
