Don’t bother
Honestly, I wouldn’t even bother. I wish I read the reviews before buying this monitor. We have used it 3 times and it’s dropped out of range each time. No we don’t have anything on in the house interrupting, we are about 10 metres away from the room, yes we have tried re pairing CONSTANTLY, removed battery, powered on and off EVERYTHING. Sometimes it works and then cya out of range. The parent unit decides to go out of range while I’m still in the room! I have no confidence to actually use this at night. I just hope the refund process isn’t as difficult as it is to own one of these things.

Worse monitor ever
have used it for 6 nights and the handpiece screen has now distorted and you can’t see anything but lines, wouldn’t recommend at all, waste of money, audio is ok

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!
I have owned this product for less then a year and have had constant issues with it. Sound constantly not working, dropping out of range when standing right next to the camera, screen freezing and after numerous calls to Oricom they are finally sending me a new camera but I have to pay postage to sent my old one back. Not happy with that as it’s still under the 2 year warranty so I should not be out of pocket for a product that for the price you would think would work!!!

Fantastic!! Oricom Secure 850 and breathing sensor
Fantastic camera and breathing monitor! Love that you can adjust the sound sensitivity, pan around the room, large clear colour screen, play lullabies, great signal, great audio, easy set up.

Brilliant product for peace of mind
Worked straight out of the box. Great quality audio and video. I couldn't recommend this any more highly. I love the ability to zoom and move the camera. Fantastic product!

Don't waste your time or money
Second time I have purchased an oricom monitor, hoping this model would be better. But it's not. The onky thing i liked about it at the start was the movement options for the camera to spy on bub. However that just doesn't cut it. It is always beeping out of range ( even when I'm just in the next room) its so annoying!!! Now the camera is all blotchy and I can't even see the baby at all because there are lines all throughout the camera monitors x2 - So it's obviously the camera that's now playing up. nd bad experience (dont i feel silly) I will be going with vtech now as I heard they're so much better! The ohotos show the monitors and how the camera is now stuffing up my view. OH and before I forget, the batter life on the monitors are absolutely ridiculous! Don't even last 15 min. One min it's full, the next it goes down to one bar, and the next it's red and beeps to be charged again, even though it was on charge all night!!! Go to vtech. Onto my second...
Not happy at all with this monitor.
The first one I got the battery did not work. After purchasing a new battery (and the parent unit still not holding charge) oricom replaced the parent unit.
Within 2 months of receiving the replacement parent unit, the new unit cut in and out and at times did not pick up my baby crying (this was during times when my baby was sick with 40 degree temperatures).
After getting in touch with oricom I was told that this wasn’t covered by warranty and to send the unit back to be reviewed.
I did this and in transit the screen of the unit cracked.
Oricom is not accepting liability, however, had it not been for a faulty parent unit I would not have had to send it back....Read more

Lasted just less than a year then no real help from Oricom
It sometimes struggled with range but mostly ok. Antenna lock when it was up, broke early on. After about 11 months it would turn itself off (out of VOX mode) and Oricom was going to send a new one after a lot of back and forth. This never happened and I haven’t heard from them since.

Ideal tool to put your your mind at ease
We recently purchased the Oricom Digital and have found it to be quite the handy tool.
Being able to see the tempeture of the room when your child is asleep is genius.
Volume and range of the device on thwle wifi setting is second to none.
I would strongly recommend this to any new parent/parents as you wont be disappointed.

Poor product, do not buy.
Battery only lasts 1 minute. Got another battery $30 within a week back to lasting 1 minute. Goes out of range for no reason. Nothing but issues. Do not buy.

Fantastic company to deal with.
We love our Oricom 850 secure with breathing pads. We had trouble with the antenna becoming faulty after 2 years. Oricom sent a new replacement straight away.
Highly recommend for their product and support with our warranty.

USELESS!!!!

Great monitor
I have been using for 6months in my 3 bedroom house and often take the monitor outside while I water my garden or hang out washing, and have never had a n issue with connection. The parent unit stopped working on Thursday night and Oricom replaced it on the spot

I wish I could give this no stars. The product is useless. It constantly drops out in our small 2 bedroom apartment and we are unable to fix it following the advise of customer care. It will reconnect again only to drop out after a couple of minutes. We are told the problem is that wifi interferes with connection but how can a product made to monitor babies not be able to be used with wifi - we live in the 21st century and everyone in our apartment block has wifi. Waste of money
Always drops out of range and have to keep pairing it, camera constantly trying to point down which creates a constant annoying noise. Very frustrating when it should be something simple to use

Great camera easy to use.
Love this camera easy to use great battery life the picture day and night is clear.. audio is great. We have been using this camera for 2 years..only fault we had was when our child pulled the cord out and the inner pin came out rendering our screen useless..was so happy with the actual product we repurchased ..but take more care were we leave it when on charge

So many problems. Customer support don't answer.
This monitor has been the most unreliable device I have ever purchased. Once again it is constantly displaying the 'out of range' signal. I have to re-set it dozens of time. Customer service often don't answer and call back later (which is generally inconvenient for mothers with babies!)
