My backyard has a slight slope.
Do your trampolines come with stabiliser kits?

no they don't you may have to build up the yard where the legs will sit to provide the even surface
Anuasked
Hi,
I am looking to buy a trampoline for my 8.5 year old, but have a limited sized backyard. Measuring the available spaces shows me I have 270 cm width from one edge to another. Length can be a bit more. The only option by leaving the 50cm gap that you suggest on either sides leaves me with only one option - the 6ft summit round. But from reviews above you have mentioned that it`s for young children. What options do you suggest I can look into given the limited backyard space? Please let me know. I would really love to have something where my kid could play with a friend.
Also, if you think a 8ft can fit in this space, is it good for 2 kids?
Regards,
Anu

Is it made to Australian standards
3 answers
It is and I believe it may even exceed them
Yes its made to Australian standard. The springs are well covered by thick mat and net frames padded nicely. They are attached to legs so sturdy and strong but also well away from jumping area.
OZ T.Oz Trampolines
The Australian Standards is a voluntary code and something that we consider carefully when we design our trampolines.
As our range of Summit Trampolines are our own branded and designed trampolines we have control over every aspect of the trampoline and can then ensure they meet the current Australian Standard AS 4989:2015.
We believe that a trampoline needs to be safe, not only on day 1 but in 2 years time and have designed the trampoline for Australian Conditions.
We do place our nets on the outside of the pads as we can sew the sleeves all the way along the net and not just be attached in a few places and then place a fibreglass ring around the top of the net to ensure durability.
We do not use zips on our trampolines as we know through years of research that they don't last in Australia's harsh climate. We have designed a safe overlapping net to ensure your children are safe whilst jumping and can easily exit the trampoline and will not breakdown leaving a huge section of the net can causes a safety concern. (please note the 6ft trampoline does have a zip on the net this trampoline is suited for very young children and parents have requested this)
The high grade UV treated PVC pads are then attached to the trampoline using adjustable bungy cords to ensure they always stay in place.
We also provide a ladder with wide non slip durable plastic steps to ensure children can get on and off the trampoline safely.
I hope this answers your question and if you need any further information please call or email us.

This might be a silly question.
We have the 8 ft round and I'm not sure how I'm meant to tie off the entrance so that my 3yo can't slip out when she bounces against that edge.
Thanks!

When we say 6ft or 8ft or 10ft, is it the height or the diameter?
2 answers
It is the diameter. I would suggest going for a 12 ft as big kids or adults can use as well.
OZ T.Oz Trampolines
the measurement given is the diameter across the frame not the height, please call if you would like all height measurements as it does differ slightly as the trampoline sizes get larger

Bought a 6ft trampoline and finding almost impossible to get the last piece of the frame in place. Suggestions? Thanks
3 answers
OZ T.Oz Trampolines
the entire frame should stay very loose until it is complete. If you have tighten each stage up you need to loosen them all off a lot so their is more flexibility. Go towards a fence or second person and get them to hold the frame firm on the other side from you and push to get it to join. If that doesn't work, undo one other frame piece, connect the opposite one first then go back to the other to join the last one that was already previuosly joined. The positive thing is that when it's together it is very firm. craig oz trampolines, 1300 393004

Can be difficult. Tried standing frame up its edge and then leaning on it. (I think the instructions mention to do this)

Hi, we purchased an 8ft round Oz Trampoline in January 2016. Over the last year the zip has slowly deteriorated to the point now that all the teeth have fallen off, and the material holding the clips has also given way. I assumed we were out of warranty and ordered a new safety net last week, but now reading the comments above think perhaps not? so my two questions are:
1. Is there warranty still applied to our safety net - especially now that we've gone and purchased another one
2. I'm unsure if we have set the 'tunnel entrance' up correctly on the new net - I've searched your site and cant find specific directions/pictures regarding this. Can you point me in the right direction?
We do love our trampoline and apart from the closure issue its been fantastic!
thanks
Theresa

Hey I’ve just managed to get a 12ft trampoline however the springs need replacing. What size springs would I be able to fit for 12ft. I’m looking to get a lot of bounce.
1 answer
OZ T.Oz Trampolines
Hi Brad
to ensure they fit your trampoline measure the spring from tip to tip when the spring isn't under tension. tHis will give you a measurement in mm's
Then to get the best bounce upgrade to our European made springs

Hi, I have plenty of room but need to move unit when mowing back yard. Can you please recommend something?
I have 2 boys 7 & 5. But will need room for 4 kids
Thanks

OZ T.Oz Trampolines
Hi Madeline, thanks for the question. I would look at either a 12ft, 14ft or a 10x15ft if you are after something with size. All trampolines need to be lifted when moved and can't be dragged. We also sell wheels that can help you with this.
Hope this helps with your decision
Thanks

Is the 6ft round trampoline suitable for 1-2 girls aged 9 and 10? It's the only size That will
in my townhouse yard. Thanks for your reply.

My kids are 10 and 12 and it was big enough for both of them to jump on. Thanks
Should go for the bigger size. 6 foot is only suitable for younger toddlers.
Thank you very much for your helpful replies.

Can you put the trampoline on concrete?
2 answers
OZ T.Oz Trampolines
Yes you can, we recommend rubber matting to protect the frame and absorb jumping impact: http://www.oztrampolines.com.au/category/90/Rubber-Matting
I have my trampoline on the grass as I preferred it that way.

please answer fast! How do I screw in screws of the trampoline if I don't have a drill??!!!!? Please help! The screws don't go in that far.
1 answer
OZ T.Oz Trampolines
Hi Macie - if it is the screws there should be a small screwdriver supplied with the screws. If you are referring to the bolts, you may require a 10mm spanner if you do not have a drill. If you require further assistance please call 1300 393 004

Our tramp arrived with no holes for the t piece screws in the frame. It says in the instruction manual that there should be holes in the frame. There are holes in the legs, but not the frame. We have 16 t piece screws and only 8 holes. Is this a mistake? What should we do?
2 answers
Each piece of frame should have a square shaped hole at each end, so that when you connect with the t piece the screw can pass thru both pieces of frame. The leg then connects into cylindrical part of t piece and has a screw whole.
If your frame has no holes at all I'd be contacting oz trampolines - sounds like a fault ?

just purchased an oval tramp, how easy are they to put together, how many adults would you recommend?
2 answers
OZ T.Oz Trampolines
Yes this item should go together well for you. 2 adults is always most useful rather than a solo effort.
We had 2 adults put it together- you will need someone to hold the safety net poles whilst the other attaches the brackets (this was the hardest part- as the bolts are so short, its a struggle to get the nut on!) . Also handy to have an extra person when initially closing off the circle- as it needs a fair bit of pressure.
Took us about 1 1/2 hrs to do the basic trampoline- and then far too long to do the safety net.... (probably another 1 1/2-2hrs) as the brackets were such a struggle - we left it and came back to it next morning.
- we blamed Santa for the net not being done on Xmas morning :)
