Worst car buying experience we’ve ever experienced.
We purchased a vehicle a few weeks before our third child was born, so that we had a car large enough to accomodate 3 child seats in the back. The car oz car sold us had $18990 on its window but was sold to us for $19990. The salesman whacked an extra $1000 on it for no reason at all after he heard we had to finance the car, the car was 10 years old so we were told we had to go through a third party broker so a car which was already over priced at $18990 will cost us a ridiculous amount of money. The car that they sold us, had a power steering ...Read more
leak which they eventually fixed after they broke a number plate light, ran up the kms and dirtied the car with muddy boots, plus when we got the car back the air conditioning Stopped working 8 days later. Which they tried to tell us wasn’t under warranty which in fact it was through the broker. The car they sold us broke down after 4 months, they told us to get it towed to Holden, where we found out that it threw an injector. Oz car originally stated that they would cover up to $1700 even though the parts we not under warranty but then at the last minute pulled out and we had to come up with $750 for one injector and spark plug to be replaced by Holden who also tried to tell us the car needed tow new tyres. The car also had to get a dent fixed in the boot where the badge was when it went in to get the power steering fixed and the panel beater who broke out number plate light clip, did a poor orange peel spray job and oz car couldn’t even replace the badge with the right colour badge. Their 101 point check is complete garbage they don’t give a stuff about what condition their cars are in. I can’t wait to find out what else is going to go wrong on this lemon of a vehicle. We will obviously never deal with these cheats again and will be informing everyone else about our experience. Many people I speak to about oz car know someone with a similar story!!! Unexpected purchase

ry friendly and and the process went through with no stress.The only problem I had was a few information calls had not been answered requiring a trip to the site and after taking possession of the vehicle we encountered a problem which upon immediate return was rectified straight away.Overall I found the experience at Lansvale was a positive one and would consider going back for another vehicle when the time comes1 comment

I brought a car not even 6 months ago from car yard at penrith they were amazing. I paid extra threw my finance to get extra warranty for 12 months.

Customer Service left much to be desired
I made contact with the dealership sales person that my family member was dealing with, as I had wanted to make some enquiries on behalf of my family member (with their permission). t they could talk to me however they wanted and that all phone calls were recorded. This person told me they had been there for over 10 years and that they knew what they were doing and in fact shouldn’t have called they way that I did and I should have just asked questions as I knew nothing. The process has left much to be desired in the way of customer service, professionalism, friendliness and accurate information being disclosed, I’d go as far as even saying information has been withheld from the customer. I will make sure that everyone that I know knows about the situation and treatment from OzCar. I would consider a 1 star review too generous.1 comment

Great service, helpful staff and great car!

Sold me a lemon car, 2 Major issues within 6months
Bought the car for a very expensive price, told me free tints as well as capped service for $150. Car had malfunctioning slave cylinder and master cylinder, had to change the whole clutch for $3000. Mechanic saw sealant in the master cylinder that was used to cover up the Leakage. Was only 5months in. Warranty did not cover nothing, it was useless. Excellent Service
My family have been with OzCar for many years and have always bought our cars from here. The salesman (Vin) called me and discussed with me the sale they were having at the time and I told him exactly what car I was looking for/wanted and he provided the exact car for me. The sales people were helpful with arranging to change certain aspects of the vehicle I wanted to suit my needs and wants. Overall, my experience was very pleasing and exciting being that it was my first time purchasing a new car.

I'd gone into the Campbelltown Oscar after making and appointment with Kieran who is a salesman there I had told him the situation I was in when my wife had a little prang in our pulsar, after all this was discussed I told Kieran my budget and he worked very hard to try find the best car to suit our needs and wants for the best price and I was amazed at how well he did ! It was love at first sight with our new car !! Thank you to Kieran and all the amazing staff there for helping us out will be sure to be back !!!!

Best experience ever !
I bought a little Kia for myself from Kieran at Campbelltown Ozcar he gave me the best service ever I was so happy normally buying cars can be so stressful and he made it so easy then he introduced me to Angus the Manager and Tanya and Juliana the finance ladies they were all so helpful and made a hard thing not so hard and I’ll be sure to pay them a lot of visits just to thank them on my new car and how happy it makes me !!

Went to Lansvale Site to check out the Ford Ranger which i saw on their site, the car was based at Campbelltown. They started to inspect my car and worked out trade in price and took my keys from me. When i asked for my keys they said they want me to take their car, i left the site into a Hyundai and very next day they got Ford Ranger from Campbelltown yard, so i once again went to inspect. y loan was NOT even approved and they told me to take the Ford Ranger which i didn't want to take. Next day i called to return the car and i was told that i waived off my cooling off period which i never did. They forcefully kept my car which was still under finance and denied my every effort to return my car back. i spoke to their Customer complaints department but they asked me to talk to guy called [name removed] who was rude and arrogant. They asked me to pay $5000.00 to take my own car back, which later dropped to $2500.00 and after 2 days of request they took $500.00 to release my own car. I asked for receipt for the payment and they said take the receipt of car. So i paid cash to them to get my own car back. I spoke to the manager who's name is [name removed]. He was arrogant, rude, racist and threatening. I request everyone to please avoid dealing from them. They are bunch of crooks. I will report the matter to ACCC for taking cash and not issuing the receipt for tax purposes. I recorded the conversation where the Manager was arrogant, rude and racist plus the guy named [name removed] demanding $500.00 in cash payments. Please avoid dealing with them at all time.2 comments

One star only - as you cannot give a negative, worst experience ever
We changed over our beloved older vehicle earlier this week - and had immediate buyers remorse overnight. We asked to rescind the deal and were immediately told no - no negotiation. We couldn’t even buy our own old car back as it had been on-sold, after only overnight and 1 business hour. It appears our only recourse is consumer affairs and NCAT to sue them, they acknowledge many cases against them already so they are well versed in this.
I would not purchase through this group with your money as this was a $20K lesson in pressure selling, and the legitimacy of purchasing only new vehicles if you can afford it - and have been advising everyone who asks about the experience since
