Great unit, but.........
I purchased my Ozito 3 in 1 Mulcher-Blower 3 years ago and it certainly does what it says. The only problem is that for older people with Arthritic hands it is a heavy article. The plus side is the little wheel at the front which alleviates the need to hold it up. The price is right, at $49.00, and I highly recommend this product. A definate 'must' for any gardener's shed.

Very Happy.
This is a great vac/blower. My hubby uses it after mowing. So easy to use. The vacuum mulches as it sucks up the leaves and grasses. So no need for a separate mulcher. It needs an extension cord if to far from the house. Would recommend to everyone. A great price bought from Bunnings.

You get what you pay for
For a price tag of $49 I cant complain. The barely 1mtr long power cord is amusing for an electric power tool one would assume will be used mostly outdoors. It blows and vacs well. The clip and zip bag makes disposal easy. Ive only had it for 6mnths but its doing good so far

Good news, bad news, overall a useful garden device
First the good points: great price, cheaper than competitors (except maybe Aldi's Gardenline model). Does the job well, I use it to make a cheap and excellent mulch/soil amendment using the huge volume of fallen leaves. Bunnings offer a return/replacement which makes it easy if it fails under warranty. Five stars for price and output. The flaws: not easy to get access to unjam when things wind around it (have to remove the bag and fish out the jam). Heavy, would not recommend for older people who struggle with lifting things. It's alrea...Read more
dy quite heavy without filling the bag, once you get the bag half or more full, there's a lot of weight. Does not, obviously, do well with anything wet. The bags aren't durable, you can buy replacements but they are expensive relative to the price of the original unit. I ended up patching it myself a few times with some fabric and if you are handy with a sewing machine, that's an option - but the bags will wear out before the unit. So about two stars for flaws, and an overall of 3 stars.

Great value for Money
Purchased this to replace a similar Bosch branded product that was 3 times the price and only lasted 11 months before the zipper of the mulching bag broke. The process to get another bag under warranty was painful took 3 months and then by the 18 month stage and out of warranty the motor blowup. Took the gamble on the Ozito at $50 + a spare bag for $20 and figured if I only get 12 months then its still cheaper than the Bosch. 1 year on and the verdict is far superior that what it replaced, more practical to use, has wheels at the front which ...Read more
makes it far easier to use and doesn't ware out the vaccum tube. In 18months the Bosch was shortened by 50cm due to constantly rumbing on hard surfaces which is unavoidable. No broken bag zippers, adjustable power, although I've always have it up max, and its a lighter unit. I use it nearly eavery weekend for 10-30 minutes. Plus it has a 3 year warranty. I really can't complain. Brother in law was around one day and was in the market for one, had seen them at Bunnings but throught it was junk and wouldn't last, after hearing my view went and brought one and is also happy.Similar opinion? Great value
Bought 3 years ago and has worked great, had to replace the bag though about 6 months ago but Bunnings do sell so was OK (from memory around $20). Blows, mulches and vac's well, is light weight and easy to handle. Would buy another if and when it eventually wears out.

Very good bang for buck
Purchased for $49 from Bunnings. Used for a few hours in total so far. Overall very happy. Highlights are : fully adjustable speed control(so useful), lightweight, mulching performance very strong on dry leaves (if you are trying to vacuum wet leaves you deserve to be disappointed...)
Weaknesses: the bag is not very durable, I'm considering sewing in some thick material around the thoat as sharp twigs etc have started to rip it.
Some people have commented on the dust factor, yeah there is a bit if you are vacuuming close to the dirt etc ...Read more
but I would have thought this would be the same for most of these tools. Not too much of a worry personally. Overall very happy and I might try to find a good quality secondhand bag for it (could also return under the 3 yr warranty).Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Machine worth the price
So I got this one second hand off Gumtree.
I asked for him to turn it on, but when he flicked the switch, nothing happened.
Only after attaching the bag, did the machine work. I guess this is a safety catch so you don't start spraying mulch all over the place if you're using the vacuum function
Otherwise, a wonderful machine and does the job it needs to do

Best $49 I've spent in years
Absolute steal for $49. This blower vac (+mulcher) has worked wonders on my deck and backyard. I have used it 40+ times for 20-60mins and it is still going strong. I have had it for almost a year now. I do wait for it to completely power down before switching between blow and vac as I remind myself this is a "cheap" plastic thing and I'm worried it will break down any moment but to my surprise it continues to work an absolute treat. The only downside is that the catcher bag is not super thick and if you suck up sharp rocks or heavy sharp object...Read more
s it can cause a cut in the bag and the replacement bags are $25. If that happened you could still use it as a blower anyway. This item is amazing for the price and I will definitely buy it again if mine does break down. I have actually considered buying an extra one and keeping it in storage if they ever stop making them or Bunnings stops selling them!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

BV2402 model
I actually purchased the corldess $169 model first, as I thought it included batteries too. I was in too much of a rush - just grabbed it and walked out...to the checkout. Much like the reviewer below me, I worked out adding two 4.0ah batteries and chargers would push the cost to over $400, so I returned it to Bunnings and exchanged it for the $99 BV-2402 model. It has 2400w like the cheaper BV-2401 model, but has a metal impeller blade instead of a plastic. It's also physically much larger.
It's powerful enough to suck up leaves, dirt, deb...Read more
ris, grass, dead+dried toads, nuts, etc from a blue metal path and leaving the stones in place. Blower mode is also pretty good too. It's pretty noisy, but works well. The biggest drawback like everyone else has mentioned is the dust bag. The weave is not fine enough and let's all the dust through. You will cover your body and everything round you in fine dust. Highly recommend wearing a respirator if using this in vac mode.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Ozito blower vac price
Ozito blower vac price after buying at $169 add 2 batteries at $109 each add charger at$25 total $412 a very expensive item . I would not have bought it, had I not assembled it, I hadn,t realised the batteries and charger were not included and at that cost.

Brilliant machine!!
Got this because it was $10 more than buying a new bag for my old Homelite one.
This is just a brilliant design, lightweight, lightweight and lightweight is the best way to describe it, such a great improvement over my previous blower vacs.
The motor is very powerful and can be controlled for lower suction when sucking up leaves from stoney garden beds etc and the shape of the nozzle is a kinda diamond shape which makes it easy to get into difficult corners - bravo!
This machine is a joy to use, it just does the job perfectly and doesn't str...Read more

Great Machine
Purchased this machine after my previous cheap machine gave up the ghost after 5 years. The suction is very good and the adjustable power feature is a good feature. Contrary to previous reviews I have read the bag does not let dust through. Very good value for money and does a better job than the Ryobi I used to have previously. That is the reason I buy the cheap ones now.

Does exactly what I want
I needed a simple vac to clean a small patio and alarger pave area mainly leaves, flower petals. Only used it 3 times so far but it does the job. As for dust, of course there has to some, the air from vac has to go somewhere. So what if you get a little on you. We don,t use it in our best clobber, do we!

Great unit - forget Ryobi!
Thought it would be cheep and nasty. However, I was so frustrated by my new Ryobi equivalent (returned to Bunnings...twice ) I thought I'd give it a go. Light weight, functional, no dribble of debris when you switch off, this unit is excellent. Talk about Ryobi loosing its way! Couldn't recommend this Ozito more highly!

Got To Say I Like It, I Like It Alot.
I've put this one to the test and it's passed my cynical first impression. It's a powerful, compact, light on weight and light on price product. It does the job and does it well. This blower vac has performed just as well as those, three times it's retail price. I payed $39 at Bunnings.

Good for the price
I've had a number of blower vacs over the years and this one certainly does the intended job well. For a lightweight domestic unit it blows strongly and vacs up small twigs and large leaves with ease. As others have mentioned, a bit of dust escapes the bag, if that's what you're vacuuming, I'd expect that with most units! Unfortunately, either the main switch or variable speed switch has become intermittently faulty and I'm about to return the unit for replacement after only 10 months. Happy for another he same.

Weak, poor quality bags
Works ok but the bags are very weak and poor quality. They let dust through and I get coated in dust each time I used it. Also the bag disintegrated within 18m despite Vac was always stored in shed. Bags are expensive to replace ($19.90 at Bunnings) in comparison to the cost of the machine at $39 when I purchased - looks like they are now $49. I dug out my receipt from Nov, 2014 and returned it for a full refund.

don't buy it.
Only used it 3 times and each time I have had to take it apart and clear the vacuum stem. Whoever designed this product has designed a crossbar in the middle of the vacuum stem and leaves get caught up in this crossbar. Save your money and buy a better blower. Better still, use a rake to get rid of the leaves. the rake will do a better job.

Good and good price
I've used it a few times and really love the vacuum on it and the fact you can adjust the speed. Sucks up leaves and small twigs which is what I only want it for. It's the small version so expect smaller results, but for $49 its a bargain with a 3 year warranty. There is some dust blown out as mentioned by other reviewers but that depends on how much dirt/dust you're sucking up. You have to be realistic.
