My worst buy EVER
Electric, blower vac mulcher - 2400 watts - BUT weak as; you get coated in dust, useless bag. Used approx 8 times in 12 months ALWAYS change to broom within 5-10 mins, It just takes FOREVER to suck up enough to fill the bag. My hairdryer has more blowing power. Piece of crap.

Very poorly made
We bought one of these 12 months ago and have had to replace the bag twice, The blowing facility works well, however the vacuum bags are very lightweight and will break very easily, better to spend a bit more and get one that is less likely to break that keep replacing the bags..

Vacuum keeps large pebbled area tidy
My OZITO BLV-2401 has performed well for two years of sucking up leaves, dead snail shells and small twigs as it separates them from 2-2.5 cm pebbles that cover an area of about 9 by 7 metres surounded on three sides by trees that shed leaves throughout the year. I use a power setting that does not suck the pebbles up the tube and sometimes the nozzle is used to disturb the stones and free up leaves that have been drawn down by worms. Dust is an occasional problem when the leaves are very dry and crisp but a light spray of water reduces the pr...Read more
oblem. After two years the original bag now has one small duct tape patch and a new $25 bag has been ordered from Bunnings. A satisfactory piece of inexpensive and light-weight equipment for a regular task over a fairly small area.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Ozito blower vacum
Exactly the same. Went to local Bunnings at Woodville (approx 16 Kil) No Bags On the internet showed 2 at the Norlunga store. went there 3/4 hr drive. Guess what none on the shelf but 2 Ryobi bags where. So much for stock scanning method. Bought another machine as they were on special just to get the bag, no it has disintergrated

The bags are no good, too weak
I have bought 2 new bags for this machine. They are very brittle, and even without being used, they just perish - fall to bits. So the price looks cheap, but you need to factor in that you will need to buy many bags if you want to keep using it. As for the machine itself, it is OK. Just the bags are lousy.

Very satisfied with my BLV 2401
The Ozito blower, Vac, Mulcher works well, although I haven't had it all that long just six months but have used it at least once a week, cleaning up large gum leaves and small twigs, blossom corns etc, very pleased with it's performance..

Value for Money
Bought it as it is best value for money. It does 3 functions, so its best value for money ($39) with 3 years replacement warranty. After vacuum it does coat you with dust and needs cleaning after use. It is light weight so easy to handle with variable speed. Power cord is too small. Quite easy to assemble out of the box. For the price I bought this is worth it.

Works well and quiet
I threw my Ryobi out as the bag fell to pieces and the selector jammed. Bought this at a quarter of the price and found it lighter, quieter and worked much better due to variable speed control.
The bag, like the Ryobi, doesn't stop dust, just leaves. Two months old now (the Ryobi lasted nearly two years before it was abandoned), so hardly a durability test but works well Have since bought a cordless, mainly due to laziness.
It also cost less than $50

Hopeless
Went to buy a new bag for my trusty Ryobi blower/vac and was persuaded to buy the Ozito as it was cheaper than just the Ryobi bag. I figured that the Ryobi was already 12yrs old so a good idea to buy a new one. Like other reviewers I found the Ozito bag useless - not a fine enough weave to keep dust inside so you end up covered from head to foot. The old Ryobi bag with several holes in it made less dust than the new Ozito. Returned it to Bunnings and got the Ryobi bag instead.

Dust bag not up to it
As per the other reviews, I don't use this (in fact I only used it the once) after getting covered in dust while using the vacuum function while outside. The bag is hopeless. The blower is good though but limited by the cord length and heavy to use. I ended up giving this away free. Good luck!

Got a good dusting not great for the lungs
I bought it because it was a lightweight due to my age and gender. Not the price.
The bag is fragile and a loose weave so what you vacuum coats you in dust. I only used it to clean up after repotting some orchids. My neighbours got dusted as well – not happy!
Great suction
Like being in a dust storm and noisy

shame about the bag
Fairly easy to assemble, and very powerful as a vacuum and mulcher. After a few uses I got filthy every time i used it due to the dust blowing thru the bag and onto me., so its important to wear overalls and to wash the bag frequently to lay the dust. The bag is very fragile and tears easily, replacement bags are $17 each which is out of proportion to the new cost of the equipment. If the vac came with some replacement bags and bags were more like $2 each then this equipment would be worth owning.
powerful vac and effective mulcher, cheap to purchase.
bags too weak and too expensive to replace.

Unfit for the task
The unit is probably ok but the bag is useless and certainly not fit for purpose - the zipper toggle comes out of the slider and the bag material is too weak. My last unit lasted 5+ years with no bag issues so obviously they have tried to make it too cheap this time.
I have used my new unit 3 times since purchase on the 5/1/2014. The bag is easily holed by twigs and gum nuts so you breath in and get covered in fine dust. You have to special order new bags but what is the point of getting the same bag if it is just going to get holes in it again?

Great little machine.
I bought this yesterday at Bunnings and used it yesterday & today for about 2 hours each day. Cleaned the whole place up a treat. We live in Perth and have several gum trees. I blew leaves from the different areas into a corner and then just sucked them up. Also cleaned/blew off the driveway and paving after mowing the lawn and whipper snippering! I love the wheels (as I am quite short). I got dusty but that was my fault 'cos I'm the one that sucked up the sand (yes, it sure is typical Perth "soil" in Duncraig).
For the price, I think it...Read more

You get what you pay for but it has some redemptive qualities
I needed to "test" out blower vacs to see whether they could cope with our type of garden which has lots of elm, ash, maple, eucalypts and other varieties of leaf shedding trees. Wet or dry as well. We are talking many trees and LOTS of debris. This machine (very early on) performs very well to suck up everything as well as blow everything to where I wanted it. However, it very soon became apparent that this machine cannot cope with long periods of continuous use with all kinds of debris being consumed. As others have said, the bag quic...Read more
kly starts shredding. We have a lot of leaves on gravel (tuscan topping) paths. That means you suck up quite a few small pieces of rock and the bag can't cope. For a big block such as ours, you have to haul power cables around the yard (2 x 20m ones for example) . The cables get stuck on everything if you have paths and plants. Terrible and frustrating to use them. You step on the plug as it pulls out, cutting off the session. Terrible. I ended up wrapping the plug up over the handle to stop that. The bag draw-string is an odd arrangement which is fiddly to get on (when/if it comes off). Surely a clasp or clip would be far superior to this. The rubbish quality zipper came off almost immediately, was put back on, came off again, and is now a string instead. By far the worst thing is the horrible tubes that constitute most of the machine. The piece at the very end is taped on as it broke and where it joins the machine proper I have to hold it in place. I can't tape that on as the blower part is constantly getting filled with debris causing it to stop blowing. This feels like pulling a household vacuum cleaner all around the outside. I'm ready to smash it to pieces now, so will definitely get petrol driven instead and pay particular attention to the quality of the tube connections. Sucks and mulches quite well, even gum nuts and twigs Bag will shred, tubes will come loose, cables will frustrate. You'll hurt your foot kicking it over a fence.Similar opinion? This blower vac is [censored word removed]!
After quite a few uses of this it is a terrible blower vac. Yes you get what you pay for. It blocks very easily and the bag is so porous after using it I need to have a shower and change my clothes as I am usually filthy. Never buying this one again. Returned it to Bunnings and the smart boy said it was the way I was using it. He has probably never even used one! Don't purchase this brand.
It is cheap and nasty

My first blower vac
This machine has met all my expectations.
Perhaps it could be quieter but at the price of $45 it is great value. I won't be throwing out my leaf rake totally but it will see much less work this Autumn. Using extension leads is always a hassle and there are some places where you cannot get behind the leaves to blow them in the direction you need.
I would buy the same machine again.
Price, mulching efficiency, ease of use.
Noise of course

Good Value
Good vacuum-blower with excellent pickup and very cheap at Bunnings around $45.It is light weight. It picked up and bagged small gum nuts which previous blowers did not. Be warned that the bag is quite porous and will blow quite a bit of dust out if you are sucking more than leaves. In addition the zip on the bag is the same as the Rok brand of blower I previously had and the hook holding the zip handle is very weak. Be warned- try to open the zip by hooking your finger nail onto the edge of the zip closer and pushing here to save the zip failing.
Very cheap, good suction.
Zip handle has a weak connection

As an addition to my review and having used the blower more the bags are not good. They leak dust and tear easily.

Great little garden Vaccum under $50
We recently purchased a Ozito BLV 2401 3 in 1 blower vaccum and could not be happier with it. It's light enough for anyone in the family to use, has great sucction with a huge storage bag and blows out a wind storm equal to many petrol models. It is amazing the power of this machine despite being so easy to use and only needing a small space for storage.
Inexpensive and light weight.

ronger bag AND a 90bend on the discharge into the bag to slow it down. Ozito followed up with a call a week later and confirmed the bags were "bad" but were the only option for the unit at the price it was being sold at!! Ozito unit was $90 more than Ozito but it works and the zipper is stronger than Ozitos.
