OZSALE = FAKE - everything I bought was fake
After waiting 3 1/2 weeks to receive my North Sails garments from OZSALE they arrived today. They were all fakes!
After my initial excitement the garments didn't appear to be the quality of other North Sails garments I have bought in the past from their shops. On closer inspection and comparison with my genuine North Sails garments. I realized there were a lot of inconsistencies with tags, fabric quality, cut, label placement, etc.
Then when I went to the North Sails website it become apparent immediately that nothing I purchased resembled the originals.
I intend to return them tomorrow RT1879120.
I just wanted to caution people that OZSALE does sell fake goods based on my one and only purchase from them.
On the order status page my order was listed as in stock and ready to ship with an ETA of within a few days, this changed to around 7 days later than the original ETA - 3 days after the ETA date I received 1 of 2 items that I ordered. I raised a request asking when I could expect the additional item as although unclear, the site made it appear that my order was complete but not fully updated. 12 days after I initially logged the request and 8 days since the last update, I received an update that Ozsale were “still investigating” and to “bear...with me” after I asked them for an update. About 2 hours later I received an automated message that they were out of stock and my money would be refunded in 5 business days.... I could have ordered the item elsewhere for basically the same price... lesson learned, just because they have a site with branding and advertising doesn’t mean they are in any way reliable. I will not be using Ozsale again!
Communication is extremely poor - still waiting for delviery???
This is my first dealing with Ozsales and currently have 2 outstanding orders - one of which was due for delivery on 21/1/20. I have tried to get a TRUE ETA but the responses look to be automated and noncommital .... infact the responses are contradictory - eg on 22/1/20 "pleased to inform you that the stock to complete your order is already in our warehouse and that our team will commencing packing all orders from this sale in no time at all". Then on 23/1 "I have looked into your order and can see that we are processing this with our supplier. We are currently awaiting a stock shipment to complete all orders from this sale and are expecting to receive this shipment from our supplier in the coming days." SO WHERE IS MY ORDER??
Extremely poor customer service
I have used Ozsale over the years with no particular trouble except maybe a more than the norm delivery dates but that is made clear on purchases. However, the last order I placed well in time for a Xmas delivery failed to be delivered until mid January. It seems the company chooses to use Fastway Couriers some of the time who are absolutely dreadful. Ozsale took no ownership of trying to locate the parcels, instruct the company to actually deliver the goods or in any way help the customer who has already paid the the goods. I got constant ...messages/emails via their contact centre or facebook messages to say they would look into it and ask me constantly for the details even though it was in the stream of messages I had documented. After numerous phone calls with Ozsale representatives promising to follow up but didnt, I eventually came across the only employee, Jagdish, who took the issue under her care and followed up with Fastway and kept in contact with me regularly. She was brilliant but the rest of Ozsale were pathetic with no concern for their customers just a constant fob off. I eventually got the parcel, delivered by Fastway to the wrong address but without Jagdish, I really have no idea what would have happened. It was incredibly disappointing and frustrating dealing with a company who takes no responsibility for who they intrust to deliver goods already paid for. Will think twice next time before placing an order and if it going to be delivered by Fastway, then no way!
Mostly good experience
Brought lots of things from this site only thing I had brought was a rose gold watch it came scratched with no little round button to change time it was snapped off. Asked to return it was told I’d be sent a satchel nothing came and I asked again no reply so I stopped shopping with them.
Took far too long
I bought a few items as Christmas presents and made sure that I ordered them in time. What began next was no tracking number, being told that it had been sent and being told that it hadn't at the same time. My products were shipped from Australia and should have come within the timeframe stated by Ozsale. They didnt, they came a few weeks later and the staff were not bothered at all. The goods are great but the customer service and ridiculous delivery time really let them down.

I found what I wanted but never received what I ordered...the quality & products were not what was advertised, tops are not dresses & vinyl is not leather...it has cost me $80 for rubbish I would not purchase from a shop.
Worst customer service ever
Ordered January 9th, now 23 January, no personal response to any of my contact messages only generic responses. Rang and left message for manager to call me. No response. Finally got a message back saying they tried to call me but network congestion prevented the call.
Need to be taken down.
I think this site needs to be closed down. They seem to just send generic emails with empty promises. No sign of my order past the delivery date. Clearly a lot of people seem to have the same issue. Will never use them again and will never recommend them,
Everyone use Catch.com.au and Amazon.com.au they are the best.

I got a different dress to the one I ordered!
The dress looks similar to the one I ordered but is definitely not the same dress & looks nowhere near as good. This was my first purchase with OzSsle. I never want to buy from them again. What a waste of my time & money!
Terrible customer service and will never order from OzSale again.
Terrible service and communication. I placed an order on 29Dec and was told delivery by 18Jan latest. Nothing received and my order hasn’t even been dispatched yet. I can’t believe the customer service team wouldn’t reach out to explain or offer a discount. I’ve now requested a refund. This is the 2nd time in 6 months my orders haven’t been dispatched ... so I won’t be using OzSale again!
Wasted my time!
Bad communication. Two weeks later, still no update, no email. All they can say is they don't know when they will receive stock but to wait indefinitely. I am disappointing OZSALE wasted my time with an item they don't even stock! These guys are drop shippers. They don't carry any stock.

I am so sick of OZSALE, I swore last time I had ordered & they still hadn't dispatched my order over a month later, that I would NEVER order again, BUT I DID & now have come to learn once again that the item that I ordered IS NOT IN STOCK, weeks later, no advise & an expected stock arrival date of another 3 weeks, plus the time to ship to myself of another week, so I am hypothetically receive it 6 weeks after I ordered, its disgusting & all items should clearly state if they are not in stock, but I am starting to realise OZSALE don't have any stock, they only purchase to fullfill orders.

Disgraceful service and communication
I placed my order on the 2nd December 2020, it was estimated to arrive to me on the 7th December 2020. I am still waiting on my order! I do not wish to cancel my order as it was an electric scooter for my son for Xmas who is extremely excited for its arrival. I have reached out with approximately 20 emails regarding where my order is and it is the same generic response. A fake apology and promises on checking up. It is a joke! $180 paid out for an item I do not have. I have asked for direct phone numbers to the supplier to see where it is but no response with the details I have asked for. I will never order for this site again. I am appalled and have a very upset son!
Never received order.
Terrible. Ordered a xmas gift on Nov 18. Dec 12 notified that it was ready for dispatch. After enquiring on Jan 12 was told they had no idea when I would receive it and would I like a refund. I accepted, then was told it was too late to refund me??? Then Jan 19 i received a refund and my order was cancelled. I wonder if they ever had the goods or even access to them. Totally bizarre and can't believe they are still in business.
Oz Sale are rubbish
I placed an order with OzSale on 6 December 2020. It was going to be a Christmas present. The response said it would take up to five working days, no problem. Subsequently the delivery email said delivery between 31 Dec. and 5 Jan. No happy but I could live with that. Now, 17 Jan 2020 I posted a query on my account, four hours ago,, wanting an update on my order, no response. This order has taken 42 days to deliver and still no sight of it. Not good enough, and no follow up from Oz Sale.
They had cancelled an item on my order without notifying me and no explanation as to why especially since it is still on their site for purchase. Rather disappointing as this was my first purchase with them and have contacted them requesting a full refund and cancelation of the remaining items.

If the stock sold is delivered to us from our brand partners earlier than expected then we will dispatch earlier too! Have had replies through the “contact us” several times. Ordered 12 items, only 1 has been shipped. Apparently a problem from suppliers. Last contact stated I could be helped with a cancellation but I just wanted to know when they would actually have items in stock. I use internet shopping very successfully in Australia all the time. Have not had any issues to date. Can someone please find out why my orders have taken nearly 3 weeks after paying, to actually order from a supplier? Thanks for your time.
Hi Sue, thank you for your message. I am sorry that your order was delayed .All stocks are sent to us post the sales event. Due to this, there are factors that are out of our control such as the supplier sourcing the stocks and sending them on time, weather, etc. We are currently chasing for the stock with our supplier and try to further expedite this.

Oz Sale sells items prior to having in stock? And then does a bulk order with suppliers?
Is that the clarification here? Is this listed in the company policy for customer to read? Good to know! I’m fortunate I can wait a little longer but was hoping that they would at least be on their way by now. Any idea of a time frame please, at all, ball park estimate even? That way, at least I can decide on whether I would like to do a cancellation. I have a 500km round trip to pick up my parcels, so it is a little inconvenient. Sue
I am currently having the same problem. You need to understand the process involved, as Ozsale is a middle distribution organisation, not a direct vendor of goods. (Zulily is the same). If you aren't prepared to risk delays you would be better shopping with companies directly. Having said this, I have been a customer with Ozsale for many years and have had very few issues with them. I suspect my current item will eventually be cancelled and I will get a refund. But the price was a third of the competitors' and I am prepared to risk the outcome.
