Not sure if they accept trade ins. Best bet is to get the new rims on your car and sell the original ones privately, like I did. Cheers :)

Good luck with that . They won't do anything after a sale nor do they have respect for their customers . I am now in the process of waiting for a hearing schedule as I am taking them to VCAT. I would suggest you do the same

I agree with jordyn! I myself have tyres with an incorrect load rating, not to mention I didn't even get the tyres I paid for,was overcharged, lied to and recieved a new wheel with a flat tyre.I can't even put the wheels on my car because of the flat tyre that doesn't seal around the rim properly and now I have to take the matter up with fair trading. I sent numerous emails with no response.clearly these guys do not care about there customers! absolutely Appalling !!

Ozzy Tyres

My question is about parallel importing.
I know that Ozzy Tyres sells a large proportion of their tyres which are parallel imported into the country. Tyre manufacturers do not cover tyres under their manufacturer’s warranty if a tyre has been parallel imported.
Q1 – Are my tyres I purchase covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring if I purchase these tyres and go on a country trip and suffer a tyre fault due to manufacturing I can locate a tyre dealer close by for an replacement at the cost of the manufacturer?
Q2 - Seeing as though the tyre manufacturer won’t cover a tyre parallel imported into the country, my question is, can Ozzy tyres guarantee that I will get the exact same tyre replaced via warranty if I have any faults with the tyre?
Q3 –Can Ozzy tyres guarantee that the tyres I purchase are in fact designated for the Australian market/road conditions? How can Ozzy tyres prove/guarantee this?

Hello Dean,
I think you dont have the full picture.
Importers offer the warranty not manufactures. If the manufacturer has a subsidiary here not being a franchisee ie subordinate corporate entity then that entity must honour warranty on the parent company goods if they sell that product here.Otherwise the importers are obliged to honour warranty.
There is no guarantee sizes will be available from anybody ie Michelin Cross terain 215/70/16 not available any more.

Australian Standards are in line with worldwide tyre markings so if the tyre has the required markings compatible with your car it is legal.
Obviously you have never returned a tyre. You pay for the replacement and they give you a refund after they see your tyre.Difference is some large tyre outlets may take the risk and replace the tyre as a goodwill gesture.

Tyres for Australian conditions?A specific brand combo comes out of 1/2 factories for worldwide distribution. What makes you think our conditions are different to the rest of the planet?
The price these guys sell if a tyre goes I would just replace it knowing I didnt get ripped off at the start.
Hope this helps
