Affordable, low chemicals and works
I chose this over bio oil because it had less nasties in it. I have used I thought two pregnancies and no stretch marks. Only used it once a day.... amazingly my old stretch marks on my thighs from high school have really faded!! I am starting to apply 2 x day now for the last 7 weeks of pregnancy. I notice that faint lines disappeared last night and my skin tone improved overnight. I also started to use the Palmers tummy butter. My plan is to reduce my appendix scar and get rid of my stretch marks on my thighs and bum completely before bub is born!
This is a great product. It is a little greasy initially (it is an oil though so that is to be expected!) but it absorbs in quickly. Really moisturises my dry skin. Takes all the itchiness away. The smell is fine. Quite reasonably priced and easily available at department stores, chemists and supermarkets. Great for use after a shower - it absorbs really well then.
My skin was really dry and scaly. And very very itchy. This has been an amazing product and has really made a difference
I would like it to come in a pump pack as the large bottle can get messy.
I won't go through a pregnancy without this product!
I am absolutely in love with it!! Easy to use with the spray pack makes it so much less messy. It soothed any itchyness I had, the itch actually disappeared and my belly was so soft and supple. I got through my pregnancy, using this morning and night, with only one 1cm stretch mark. Coincidence?
Perfect, easy to apply, smells delish.
A bit of residue on your hands but easy to wipe off elswhere on your body.
I have never been pregnant, however I have dry skin and Palmer's soothing oil is good applied to dry skin. I am able to see improvement in results in 2 days. The oil absorbs quick into my skin and doesnt leave me feeling sticky or oily. It doesnt stain my clothes either.
Palmer Cocoa butter oil is perfect for an after shower moisturising for my dry skin.
It would be better if the product was sold in smaller packs for travel use.
This is another great product from Palmers. I found it stopped any irritation from dry skin and can be used by anyone, I often use a little now in my footspa to soften my dry, cracked heels!
During my third pregnancy my skin got very dry, my doctor said it was probably hormonal, and I found this offered some relief. Worked well as a general moistoriser too and even though my pregnancy is long over I still use it on my heels and any cracked skin!
Very oily! Don't touch anything too soon after application as it will leave a greasy mark.
This spray was fantastic, for about a week i was showering about 4 times through the night i was scratching like crazy and couldnt stop. They tell you to try your best not to scratch as it can cause scarring. My friends reccommended this product to me and i found it worked really quickly to relieve the itch. I carried it with me everywhere. it leaves belly soft and smooth i would definately reccommend it for pregnant women
works instantly, comes in spray bottle, smells amazing, doesnt stain clothing.
A little bit oily, bits of fluff and dirt get stuck to it
I have really sensitive skin and when I was pregnant I was really itchy around my stomach because of the skin stretching. It contains vitamin E and really softened my dry itchy skin. It is best used after a shower so that it will absorb into the skin really well. It leaves my skin soft and itch free for hours after applying. This product is perfect for pregnant women with sensitive skin, and I would definately recommend it.
As for all Palmers products I just love the smell it is beautiful. It leaves my sensitive skin soft and calms irritated skin.
