A Great All In One Microwave.
Fantastic product. Does everything. I don't think there is any other Microwave that does as many types of cooking that this can do. It's expensive, but it does everything. My only gripe is no Instant Cook microwave button. Takes 4 different inputs to use microwave, but getting used to it.

GREAT CHOICE
Great multi function microwave perfect dimensions and very compact but still spacious and big. I have always owned previously Panasonic Microwave Convection ovens that lasted and lasted over the years. I didn't hesitate going back to them.
This one is compact but as it has a flat bed (no carousel) it takes the same dishes as my previous large one did!
It's new inverter technology is perfect. You can chose the power in gradients right down to 100 watts too.....no more low/med/high. It's a steam oven which I haven't had before but use regul...Read more

Love this microwave
I had to find a multi function microwave that would fit exact dimensions for my new kitchen and after having a previous Panasonic Microwave/Convection that lasted 32 years, I didn't hesitate in going back to them.

Is the microwave function simple to use? How many steps/buttons to press to zap something?

There is NO one step quick button which is dumb. It takes 4 steps to nuke something. Used to it now but still a pain. But saying that its a awesome product.
Just microwave? Push 1 button, select the power setting & push start. Pretty simple really! As it's a 3 function oven there are different wattage settings which I find great. Really low for defrosting, or reheating 'delicate' items, right up tp 1000w for a quick zap.

Does this have a display light.. if so.. ours dosent work

If you mean the readout is back lit, no it's not. The front display does not light up.
It has a display panel but it's not backlit......
I don't find I need it backlit.
It's easy enough to read in the daytime... but would be good to be able to see the display at night... this would have had an impact on our choices had I known before we brought it
