Does the job. Not the best i've had.
Takes approx 10-20% longer to heat up things than the equivilant rotating model (we have them at work). Would also be hand to have a key pad to put in specific times, only 10 sec intervals available which is not ideal for baby bottles etc where a few seconds can be a big difference. Very essy to clean. Noise is not an issue, build quality is also good.

Great handy microwave
Very descent one from Panasonic based on induction technology. The fact it does not have a rotating glass base makes cleaning all the more easier if there is an accidental spill of liquids.
Temperature adjustment and operation of the microwave is very simple and easy. Will certainly recommend this one

Good Microwave for the price.
We purchased our microwave from jb hi-fi earlier in the year and have been impressed with the power it has to cook our food.
We use the microwave daily, usually to cook up some left overs and it seems to have more even heating across the food than pervious microwaves we have used.
For the price and the quality, I think it deserves 4 stars.

Terrible don't buy
Bought this flat bed microwave two weeks ago and it doesn't reheat, defrost or cook properly. Takes ages to do any of these processes and then after waiting ages it is still no good!! The display panel is hard to see as the writing is tiny, the instruction manual useless

Bad Microwave - Poor Service from Panasonic
Do not buy this microwave. We purchased it around 16 months ago. The cooking results were never very good and we noticed straight away that it took ages for food to heat up. There may have been problems with the inverter from the start. We (only just) chose to keep it and leave food in for a bit longer than normal to compensate for the poor heating performance. Around a month ago a horrible toxic smell started (and we have 2 small children) and the microwave stopped working altogether. We returned it to Bing Lee who sent it back to the manufact...Read more
urer. Panasonic have offered to replace the inverter and charge us (!?) which is totally unreasonable as the product has a major fault. We also are not keen to get this microwave repaired when it had a major fault in the past and gave out that horrible toxic smell - seems like we will just have problems with it in future. We will never buy Panasonic again - they are selling products that are not fit for purpose and the will not repair or replace them when they have a major fault.Similar opinion? Game Changer!
Bought this around 8 months ago. We decided to get one without a turn table and boy did it make our lives easier. The cleaning process of this microwave is so easy, we just wipe the sides and flatbed.
This microwaves is also very strong and can heat up food very quickly. There is a cooling mode which automatically switches on when the microwave gets to hot after using it. However the noise is a bit loud.
The exterior design is sleek and minimalist. Buttons are easy to press and instructions are quite clear.
Overall very satisfied with this purchase!

Uneven Heat
Purchased Panasonic NN-SF564WQPQ at Good Guys on 7/3/2017.
First let me say I am a Panasonic fan and have a 55in and 33in TV & recorder.
The flatbed microwave be it Panasonic or other brands will probably all have the same problem.
Due to the uneven heat distribution.
Very hard to heat a tea out of the fridge cooked a couple of hours prior.
Some things will be red hot and others lukewarm. For instance mashed potato will be lukewarm and beans red hot the same with a roast, cauliflower & roast potatoes will be lukewarm and other food red...Read more

Hate it
Shelled out an extra $100 for this over another model as the sales chick said it was worth it. Takes tripple the time to heat food as my old dinky Aldi one did, and super uneven heat displacement. Wish mine was faulty like others are claiming so i could take it back.

5 day wonder
Help! 5 days and half dozen uses now H97 is all it will say (on display) Just doesn't work. I want my Sharp back. Anyone else have this problem. Only been used to cook frozen vegetables and reheat 1 or 2 items. Did I just get a dud or is it an easy fix?

Great Machine, Great Design!
First of all, I recieved this machine at a 20% off discount at an already great price. The cooking ability and ease of use is great, the flatbed design allows for large plates to be placed inside and had no adverse affects that you make think of with the missing spin plate. My last Panasonic Microwave lasted 21 yearsand is still running. I have no doubt this machine won't exceed my expectations and last just as long.

Love this flat-bed microwave
This is an excellent microwave, we were almost most put off by negative reviews about an earlier model, but very glad we decided on this one. Being a flat-bed microwave it is so easy to clean and you can fit much bigger dishes in it as it isn't restricted by a turntable. It's plenty-powerful enough and we've had it now for about eight months and still love it.

Very pleased
I was initially sceptical about this, without a turntable. But having no turntable means more room inside and no chance of broken microwave plates. I have used it every day since I purchased it and am very impressed. It cooks evenly, is quiet and is obviously well built. And most importantly to me, is the fact that it is easy to use despite having multiple options. I would recommend it to anyone.

Don't buy!
Bought this about 5 months ago and I noticed about 1-2 months ago that when I was heating something up the microwave would stop working. First thought it might have just been over heated but now I put something in the microwave and it won't even start at all! Have to take it back and get something that actually works

Good
Good all round microwave, I expect it will last for some time. It's easy to keep clean by using this method, simply place a cup of water in the microwave and heat for a few minutes then wipe down the inside. It also looks stylish and modern in the kitchen.

Easy to use
I have always wished microwaves didn't have a turn table. Well I found one! It is so easy to use as well as easy to clean. It heats up well and there are many different settings to choose from. I will never go back to the old style of a turn table.

Good looking microwave
We purchased this microwave a couple of days ago because it looks good and we like the idea of a flatbed microwave. So far we have only really used it a few times but it is working fine, although you need to push the open door button quite firmly to open.

Dud product
I've had this microwave for less than 2 years and the inverter blew the other night showing a code of h-98 or similar, worse part of all had only 12 month warrantee on the product, has anyone else had this problem ? ... im so upset with this microwave will never buy panasonic again if their products dont last more than 2 years ! Better stick with other brands

Great microwave
The microwave is really great. It heats up my food at the touch of a few buttons and the twist of a knob. If I leave my food in too long it gets really hot. If not long enough, too cold; but overall i am very very happy with this microwave.

Love the extra inside space.
This style was new to me without a turntable inside. It cooks well, creates extra spece inside and our last Panasonic Microwave was still working after 11 years and we sold it very cheap second hand to a student, so in my opinion they make great microwaves you can rely on!

Questions & Answers
Doug F.asked
Hi team, good so far but appears noisy with apparently fewer moving parts than the turntable style. So what is the source of the noise? Just curious!

Panasonic Australia C.Panasonic
Hi Doug, sorry difficult question, could be the fan, the unit running or any other noise.

My NN-SF564W doesn't always start. Once started it works just fine, but getting it to go is tricky. Put in the time, press start, nothing. Put in the time, press start, nothing. Suddenly it says COOLING on the display. I press reset, then the time, start, nothing. Do variations on this theme and presto! It goes. Any help?
