Bread is perfect, hard to remove from tin
Love the machine and the bread but are very surprised at how hard it is to remove from pan. The paddle, and the bread, gets stuck in the tin every time! I am not new to bread makers and have never experienced this before. Bread usually falls out, paddle in loaf, easily removed. This one is stuck like a brick. Recently purchased Myer Karrinyup WA

very disappointing
Recently purchased this bread maker hoping for a more versatile product. The ceramic pan is excellent, however the bread maker offers no flexibility in programs and does a second beating down during the rise time with all programs, after which it does not allow enough time for the bread to rise again, resulting in a very heavy loaf regardless of the program. I have added extra yeast with slight improvement only. There seems to be no way around this other than to use this bread maker for kneading only - not the purpose for which it was bought. The crusty loaves typically end up slightly burnt and again there is no option for adjusting cook time. For a top of the range bread maker it is very disappointing and I would not recommend it.

The loaves really are crusty
The one thing that made me not buy a bread maker was that the bread is never crusty like you get if you bake it yourself. I have always used the Dutch oven method for beautifully crusty results. When I saw this bread maker online and it said it made crusty bread, I had to know more.
I read a few overseas reviews and decided to take the plunge, it is expensive at over $400 compared to other bread makers. I was not disappointed.
Using setting 1 a white hard crust bake with Laucke Wallaby flour produced a beautiful crusty loaf with a good crumb. T...Read more

High quality and Efficient bread dough mixer
This Panasonic Bread maker is very clean and smart looking. I use the machine on program number 16 to produce a dough, which can then be hand kneaded to whatever shape you intend making. After kneading the dough I place in two bread pans, and put the two pans into a Miele oven to prove (45mins) -the oven is set to automatically introduce steam at 3, 6 and 9mins. After the prove has completed, I reset the oven to a bake cycle (37mins at 200C). The bread mixer machine is of a very good quality, and the bowl is ceramic coated, and is very easy to...Read more
keep clean. The mixer has a fast turning mixing paddle action, which stretches and develops the dough well. Although I have only used the SD-ZP2000 to mix doughs (as we like normal shaped loaves), I am able to obtain excellent loaves with this superb bread making machine.Purchased in April 2021 at Noel Leeming Physical store.

I am using a Laucke Multigrain, Soy & Linseed Bread mix (yeast provided) which contains 4 packets of mix and 1 sachet of yeast (I make 8 loaves), and each box of 4 packets retails at the supermarket for $12.99 .

Do Panasonic manufacture a Bread maker (similar to the SD-ZP2000), but with a fruit & nut dispenser?
Thank you.

the great tasting bread it achieves) and we haven't had any issues. We do let it cool in the machine first with the door open. Hope this helps.
