Excellent service, excellent products, excellent price
I've been buying from PoK for years, finally decided to write a review. To the negative nelly's on here re delivery and use of Aust Post, it's not PoK fault that Aust Post have their rules. If you want to pay more for the product and more for delivery (by a logistics co.), go elsewhere. My recent purchase of the Magimix Cook Expert was exceptional. Cheapest price in Australia. Best customer service experienced in online shopping in the past few months. They called to confirm when it would leave the warehouse and to advise there may be a delay over Easter. Yes Aust Post are their delivery agent and yes I was not home on the day but who cares. The worst MANAGER service in ALEXandria POK
I bought 2 ecoya 200ml from POK ebay store that was having 20% off. Before i placed the order, i rang alexandria store and confirmed that i could exchange the diffuser to sweet pea as the ebay POK did not have the sweet pea fragrant.
The staff confirmed it by phone and i even went there all the day took me 3 hours return trip just to make sure they keep the 2 sweetpea for me until the pick up time the following week.

She said it is MY FAULT because when i wanted to exchange,i had to tell what fragrant to what fragrant (the staff knows already that it is exchanged to sweetpea) I am a customer and when i asked for exchange, i just have think that ecoya to ecoya, 200ml to 200ml and $37 to $37, the 20% off i had is the voucher not the price difference between ebay and the store. She kept insisting that i should tell what fragrant from the beginning to exchange. NONSENSE!!!! Birkenhead Outlet Experience
Purchased a GEFU spiral slicer in the Birkenhead 'Peter's of Kensington' outlet. Intended to process raw sweet potatoes after reading an interesting recipe. The slicer did not work at all, continually clogging the blades. Became a little suspicious and conducted some online research. Product had so many negative reviews that I decided to return it to the point of purchase. Excellent Customer Service
Really fantastic in terms of price and service. I have purchased items from PoK for many years but never bothered to write a review. Never had a problem with service, price, pickup or delivery. This review was prompted by my recent purchase. I was looking to buy something as a gift but didn't have the postal address at the time of the transaction. it all on hold until I contacted them the following day with a postal address. It's the compexity of my transactions, and how well they handled it that made me write this review. Within 4 hours of notifying the delivery address, I received despatch and tracking details. In my mind, that entire experince deserves to be acknowledged and deemed to be EXCELLENT service. As a customer of many years, I have taken it all for granted and never bothered to praise the store for its quality products, unbeatable prices and helpful staff. Also, it's worth noting the low delivery costs. So many online businesses charge postage for each item. PoK is very reasonable and charge per box. Peter's of Kensington - you probably won't get your order delivered to your home
Peter's of Kensington is OK in itself but they use Australia Post as a carrier and the latter is unreliable. Australia Post officially offers safe drop options so your don't have to sit at home waiting for delivery but in reality their delivery staff just say it is not safe to drop off and go on their way even though you have given permission and accepted liability for "safe drop". It's easier and quicker for Australia Post delivery staff to just leave a card in your mail box rather than carry the delivery to your house. This means that the recipient has to pick up their package from a post office or postal facility during business hours. Few post offices seem to open on Saturday. And bad luck if your parcel is heavy.

Face to face customer service is appauling
Kensington location.
I’ve spent thousands of dollars via Peters of Kensington online and have had no complaints. Friday 19.01.18 (8days ago) I went in to view an appliance (Kitchenaid) and asked the guy at the desk next to the Kitchenaid section on level 2 for help. It’s obvious he has had enough of customer service and wants out. Excellent Products and Service
I've been buying from Peters of Kensington for a couple of years, my recent purchases were in November and December'17.
Every time I find their range amazing, I go in to buy one item and keep searching for hours, only to have to stop myself from over spending, because their range is not only extensive, but the quality of their products is outstanding.

Refuse refund or exchange on faulty item
Really disappinted with Peters of Kensington.
I recently purchased an expensive luggage item only for the zip to break the first time i tried to close it. Realizing it was faulty i returned the item with the knowledge that a faulty item must be refunded.
I had actually planned on purchasing something else from this store as a replacement.
On return i was refused refund and exchange and told it would be sent away for repair and Peter's of Kensington take no responsibility for selling faulty goods.

r fault i insisted the staff show me their policy for dealing with return of failty goods. This was not produced although I was told this is their policy. I asked that they check the law for NSW on faulty goods and they refused. stating this is an issue for their supplier and not them. I purchased this item from Peter's not their supplier. I am their customer and they should have looked after their customer and then dealt with their supplier themselves. Unfortunately the customer is not their focus.Similar opinion? Exceptional Customer Service
When my order arrived with a couple of shattered glass candles, it was a simple process of taking a photo and sending it in. When I was offered a full refund, I requested to get replacement candles sent to me instead, which they accommodated. When the replacements arrived, the candles were packed with great care and padding within a small box, which was placed in a larger box, also padded to the hilt. I was so impressed that they did this, to safeguard the delivery of my replacement products. They went above and beyond in my opinion. For a mishap which was most likely the fault of the delivery person who dropped it in the first place, even though the packaging said Fragile, it was a sterling and appreciated effort.

Can’t beat this
I needed to get a Xmas present for my parents. Found the perfect gift, ordered one for each, asked for gift wrapping, added a personalized gift message, pressed the order button, paid. All done in the Wellington Airport in NZ on my way home on Tuesday afternoon.
Arrived in my office on Wednesday morning in Canberra to be flabbergasted by the waiting pink delivery carton from Peter’s!
Amazing.

Very fast delivery and great service
I have purchased heaps of things from Peter's and always happy with the speed of delivery. The packaging is very secure and the bits of,styrofoam break down into nothing when you put them on your garden and hose them.
My most recent order was missing an item and after i emailed i got a response saying they were looking into it and within 2 days i got another email saying the missing item was on its way. Very impressed all round, with quality products and great service.

Terrible customer service. Rude and not taking accountability.
Absolutely agree with the negative reviews in relation to terrible customer service and ZERO and super UNHELPFUL and RUDE after sale ‘customer support’.
I recently experienced it face to face at the store as well as over the phone with them - both incidents shows they don’t care and in fact they make rude and inappropriate comments (very unprofessional). Sent them an email to complain and received NO REPLY.
Terrible and irresponsible customer service more than offset the lower price they may offer. You will never get this upsetting shopping experience at David Jones or Myers.

Excellent service as always
I use Peter’s to deliver to family and friends and have never been disappointed. Products are always cheaper than department stores and postage is really reasonable. The big pink box that things arrive in looks great and items are packed really well. Love this store.

Great products at great prices
I just love the service at Peters, we used them for my wedding register, for Christmas gifts and for household goods. The online shop is easy to navigate and I avoid paying postage by picking up from their warehouse which is easy to get to and has parking. In an age of disposable goods Peters sells products which stand the test of time. On the odd occasion I have not been happy with a product I have found their returns to be no hassle.

Disappointing product customer service
I recently ordered a Breville 1 litre glass kettle from this retailer via NZ Trademe on behalf of my 93 year old grandmother who has macular degeneration and specifically wanted a small glass kettle (so she could have some indication of water level and be able to lift it). Since receiving the kettle she has discovered the kettle leaks. This has caused her much anxiety. I have contacted Peters of Kensington who have been tardy in responding and unhelpful. They sent Australian Courier tags (for a NZ purchase) and when I explained this, they suggested I bring the kettle with me when I next visit Australia.
