we brought our pram second hand off ebay, it was a couple of month old only & was almost brand new. When we got it the front wheel kept on jamming, the pram would go off to one side making us run into people in the shops, basically the pram was unusable. My husband took all the wheels off & greased them, now the pram run's really nice & smooth. I love it now. I think that's why they sold the pram. I would recommend any one with the same problem to try some grease. I would recommend this pram to others.
can carry 2 kiddies at once,
how heavy pram is, I have nearly Dropped it a couple of times trying to get it into my boot.

BEST PRAM!!! I had one problem with it at the start with the zips on the main seat, but it got fixed straight away. no problems since. i buy universal covers as i dont like the phil and teds ones, and i think they work much better :)
ive been through about 15 prams, im picky and want a pram thats safe for my son. ive found that this is the ONLY one that ive felt safe with. its not flimsy, wheels are good, and huge basket
stylish - i have the graffiti model, get so many comments, my son loves it, goes up to age 5, study, can have two kids, good size basket.

A good pram that can take two babies (baby and toddler).
The phil and teds dash, we found to be a good pram that takes two children, it's not perfect, but most prams or strollers that are design to take more than one child at the same time will have some minor issues. We have had no problems with wheels etc, all the items on pram are still working and we use our all the time, at the moment we have a 3 year old and an nine month old, and soon to have another in 2 months time, which is why we went for phil and ted pram, we didn't want side by side because they tend to be wider and wont fit in certain ...Read more
shops etc, also we wanted a pram that can go off road and this can really well. I have a light weight stroller too, which is great, but you cant fit two children in, and also can flip if bags are put on handles, so again no stroller is always going to be perfect. I also like that the phil and ted can be fold as one, if the toddler or baby seat is put onto front, if on back you have to take it off first to fold. I have heard that people have found the folding hard, or the released button hard, so far I haven't, but I have found doing one side at a time, so lifting leaver or clip and pressing button on left side first, once the click sound is made then with the other hand press red button on other side of pram handle and then fold. I like the brake system on it, although different and some people don't like not having the foot, or one press method, I like this because I make effort by using both hands, I never forget to put brake on, I don't mean effort in being hard, it just you have to use two hands i.e fold down the handle till it clicks on breaks. Another words I am always aware of putting on the break. We were given a rockstar baby pram a few years back for our first and it was a shocker, felled to bits and foot break was so hard that one it was down the only way for me to released it was to bend down and doing it using my hand. For one child light weight stroller are great, but for two I think I want something that isn't going tip and can go off road, so we not buying double of one that goes off road and one for town shopping, already feel sorry for my mum and dad that went got us the rockstar baby pram, as at the time I was only going to have one child, as it was our second after we lost our first baby, a year before. So best of luck with pram shopping all the people out there, keep in mind no pram is really perfect and also sometimes you have to test and item over time to no what you like and don't like. Takes two children, great off road, narrow so can be used at the shops, sound price for two baby inline pram heavy but I have used a friend valco rebel three wheeler and that was worst. When I was looking for a pram I wasn't sure which style or brand I wanted but I was happy that I purchased this pram. My first instinct was this pram is ugly in terms of other prams but now that I have it, i love it! It is so EASY to fold up into the car and it takes up little room too. Awesome pram easy to manuvere nearly as good as our bugaboo, easy fold mechanism, dual seat is awesome our newborn and 2 year old toddler love it.

This pram is great for when we go to the dog park (mostly off-road) and when i am walking/jogging. It is a terrible pram for going to cafes, restaurants, shops or city walking. It is far far to heavy, i had an emergency C-section and i couldnt use this pram without having my husband around to set it up due to its weight. I became unwilling to go to the shops on my own as the lock sticks when i am trying to set it up. I got another lightweight pram and now i am out and about much more. Overall i wouldnt buy another Phil and Teds pram.

I finally snapped and bought a Steelcraft Eden stroller -easy to use, lightweight, and CHEAP! Have not looked back. Phil and Teds is so so so not worth the money - would never recommend to anyone. Hope this helped!

We live in the city so this pram has been good for what we need as we dont need to get it in and out of the car very often. I can use the basket below to stock up all my shopping. I love the zip on sun cover and get lots of comments regarding how practical it is. I also get comments on how great the pram looks.
If I was living out in the suburbs I would probably not enjoy having to get this pram in and out of the car due to the weight.
* Can be converted to a double pram

* Lots of great accessories
* Plenty of room for shopping in the bottom basket
* The dash has a plastic point where the childs feet sit so its easy to clean unlike their other models.
* Too Heavy
* Way to expensive for what you get

I think this is a great pram. It is expensive compared to some other prams on the market but it is very good quality and is well worth the investment.
The Dash looks great and is easy to steer. It has a toddler seat attachment which allows the older child to sleep in a proper seat as opposed to some of the basket style toddler seat attachments in other prams. Waste of money, too many problems with the wheels - too expensive there are better prams out there for less money with more accessories
looks good, thinner than other doubles, Phil and Ted's customer service is pretty good with faults
pretty much everything else - had problems with the wheels making it impossible to steer, accessories are way too expensive for what they are, rain cover and sun cover are optional and cost over $100 for the 2. Not worth the money

i wouldn't recommend this pram as we have had to get both the slings replaced in the first 6 months, its heavy and 3 wheelers are really annoying to steer. if you are tall get a different pram and try it before you buy it- even borrow a child to test it out!
it looks stylish, rolls well on uneven ground, is good as a single pram without the toddler attachment. very roomy seat.

I did a lot of reasearch into prams and brought this one because it is one of the best if you are having 2 babies close together as it converts into a double pram. a lot of the other prams with a toddler seat have the baby sitting bolt upright which means they cant nap. the cheaper phil and teds models have a foot break which is hard to put on and even harder if there is a todler seat down below. toddler seat is in use but it makes the pram wider and hard to fit through doors. we have had to buy the shade cover, wet weather cover and the drink cup holder seperately. We hope to be able to use this pram for all our children and not have to buy another one. Hand brake instead of foot brake. coverts to double pram with toddler seat. very easy to steer and push, even one handed. stylish. easy to clean. suitable from newborn up. pump up tires for smooth ride. narrow pram fits down shop aisles very easily. good resell value. good quality. handles adjust higher for my tall husband. I disliked it as a newborn/toddler pram because it was difficult to get my newborn in. I liked it briefly with him on the back when he got older, but I am so sick of taking the attachment on and off. It is also difficult to get him in under the handle.

ally cant be bothered lifting it out and setting it up, let alone folding it and trying to get it back in the car later. If I had my time again, I would have bought a good double layback stroller, and then later a good single layback stroller and a hitch hiker board, in total costing me about $500. Still far cheaper than what I paid for the P&T and most of them come with covers. I read all the reviews and decided that I knew better. Please, I implore you, don't waste your money on such a poorly designed product. I hate to think what the unsupportive backrest has done to my toddlers spine, and I only use it when I have to. Get a good layback stroller - with a buggy board if you have a baby and an older toddler, or a double layback stroller if you have a newborn and a younger toddler. Even a good single layback and a sling for the newborn.. Just dont waste your money on this. I like that I can use it for both children, and that the toddler seat reclines. It looks nice, can be a single or double, I quite like the hand brake, and I like that it goes completely flat. Turns and steers well. There are so many things. Its heavy, its a pain in the bum to fold up and assemble, especially with the seat on the back which has to be removed for it to be folded down, it only just fits in my boot, it wont fit through a Woolworths checkout properly (without me having to shove and lift it several times) the reclining toddler seat is useless as my son has been too tall to fit under the top bar since he was 5 months old. Its hard to get a newborn in with it in newborn/toddler configuration, you have to lean in (uncomfortable) and then shake them off your arms like a pizza, or get someone to reach through the front and pull their ankles. There is no support in the main seat, so my children are always slumped, especially if it is reclined even the smallest amount. I cant have the main seat reclined with the back seat on, even a little. I cant really use the basket if both kids are in the pram. The accessories are NOT included and are stupidly expensive (like upward of $60 each). It DOES NOT come with a pump and the tyres constantly go flat, even just using the pram in the shopping centre. The company's customer service leaves alot to be desired re:waiting times. It is overpriced. The seat is incredibly hard to sit back up with the child in it if you use the toggle to recline it, you need about 4 hands to do it. I have to carry my baby bag so it doesn't wipe out my younger child. It is covered in scratches because it folds onto a metal bar, not onto wheels. No sun protection on my younger child. Whn in single baby mode and reclined you need at least 2-3 large wraps over it to keep light out so they can sleepm so it looks like you are wheeling around a clothes horse. I think this is a great stroller - I'm yet to find a perfect pram that ticks every box, but the P&T Dash came closest for us (and we were very picky when choosing a pram and had lots of pre-requisites).
Excellent design, looks great, narrower than a lot of 3 wheelers, easy & smooth to steer and manouvre.
Accessories are quite expensive and have to be bought separately.

Where do I start. The attachment for second child has a bar that runs behind the head, forcing childs chin down to chest. I cannot reach the handle without bending forward with the attachment. Getting one baby out when the other one is inpatient is a nightmare. Good Idea, poor design. I ended up with a Mountain Buggy Double and bought a cheap pusher for when I only have one child. Utter garbage, huge waste of money, would not recommend this pram to anyone, will never buy a Phil and Ted pram again

This above review my complete by a Married Father or 2 Boys living in Adelaide SA and from a Male point of view, DON'T waste your money. We had a Beema Swallow Q prior to the birth of our second child and it was strong and tuff as guts. DO your research before choosing a P&T. R HIGH PRICE ITEM, POOR QUALITY, MADE IN CHINA, PIECE OF CRAP. So choose carefully on what you buy & where you get it. Good Luck and thanks for reading. Seat 2 and that is about it. Well where I start. Poor access to the storage basket once you have both babies in the pram. The posistion you have to put you body in to push this pram with out getting smack in the knees by the second seat. The poor quality lock to hold the pram closed when pram is folded down, We have numerous scratches and mark on our cars from the pram unfolding when putting in the boot(sick of waiting for the authorised repair to get a loan pram in. I fixed it myself, something you want to have to do after spending all that money). The hand brake is useless and need to be address, the brake cable that runs down the frame to the wheels get jammed in the folding mechanism and now is damaged. The handle is poor and not strong enough, when you a push down on the handle to assist in go up kerbs, foot paths (after crossing a road) or over some uneven surface (yes I know it's not a 4wd) but the handle folds down and place the brake on then everyone comes to a sudden stop great when crossing the road. We went out and brought all the great accessories idea, but what a waste of time. Well we got the Saddle Bag that hang on the side of the pram to give you more storage, but make the pram then as wide a HUMMER 4X4 which doesn't helps when the retail stores make isles so narrow. The hang bag that goes on the handle great idea but once again useless, 1. try put the brake on with the brake on the bag foules on the handle and the back of the seat. The hang bag also has room to hold 2 drink great but, you can not get the drinks in & out of the holder with out putting up a fight with it and secondly in the warmer weather the moisture from the drink drip down all over your baby in the lower seat. Compared to my Valco runabout it is so much smoother to push especially with two kids in it. I also found the toddler seat great as I could recline it to allow my child to sleep while I was out which you can't do with other toddler seats I have seen. The handle brake takes some getting used to but most people I see with two kids in their P&T Sports rarely use their footbrake because of the awkwardness of its location.
Easy to steer with two kids in, multi position seat, toddler seat reclines. Folds and fits easily in boot of car.
Handle brake can be a little awkward.

I wouldn't recommend this pram. I have had issues from the beginning, even before I eventually got it. Bought expensive covers for the pram and the double kit. Still thinking about whether it is worth cutting my losses and buying a stroller. Had a loan one when getting my frame replaced and loved it. Much more compact and easy to use.
Good for two babies. Colour. Big wheels good for use on our block or on paved surfaces, though do have to watch out that it doesn't tip over.
