Due to its inline design, its narrow enough to fit any where a little stroller would. It truly is fantastic to push. It can handle gravel roads, long grass, bumps, sandy tracks no worries. The hood is ridiculous but i have learnt to take my sun cover with me everywhere and thats ok. When used for a newborn and a toddler with the double seat on the front, I did find my toddler was too tall to have the hood open. It was resting on her head, she is only average height and was only 2 at the time. It pays to ring around and find the best price bef...Read more
ore purchasing one, some stores are charging up to and beyond $700 for the pram and doubles kit, mine was $629 with double kit. Overall really good, versatile pram that comfortably transports two children any where. Light weight and effortless to push with 2 children in it. Goes well over all types of terrain. Very simple to change from a single pram to a double. Great range of funky colours. Wet weather cover and sun mesh can be purchased to cover both children in the pram so you can still head out for a walk no matter what the weather is like. Great range of accessories. The one thing that I really dislike is the hood. It gives so little coverage, and when you open the viewing window there is nothing there not mesh or clear plastic as in other prams also it has only 2 positions close or open no in between. I would have to say it is the most pathetic hood Ive ever seen on a pram especially for our harsh summers. The buckles for adjusting the backrest are abit fiddly, a newborn up and down bed adjustment strap remedies this.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
OK
The pram is compact and there are not many choices in double prams so I guess that is why you buy it and why I'll rate it begrudingly a 3. If you only need a single get the mountain buggy is sooooo much better (note: I heard Phil & Ted have brought Mountain Buggy so the quality may drop). If I was rating the pram without the double kit I would give it a 1.
- Compact, the only double that is not huge. The double conversion seat goes on and comes off really easily. You can even easily move the newborn from the back to the front with them in it ...Read more
(you need to do this if the older child gets out of the front - other wise the pram tips back when you go down a hill)- The back section is open in newborn position - great ventilation for Aussie weather Where to start!- The zips on the main front seat section to recline are impossible to use when a child is sitting in the seat. Even with the child out they are really bad - it is hard to zip up. The tags on the zips break ( have had to replace these) - The tubes in the tyres of the Phil and Teds burst easily and when you use a universal tube ( phil and ted dont make there own tubes and the tyres are not covered by the 12 month warrenty)the tyre becomes mis-shapen (it is fatter in one section - usually near the valve) and then the pram wont steer straight and it is bumpy to push. I have had two wheels do this and had to replace them (pram is only 6 months old). When i spoke to the shop I brought the pram from I was the third customer that week to make the same complaint and they kept my tyres to show the Phil and Teds Rep when they came from NZ because they deny the problem. One wheel was so bad with the bulge in one section that it hit the mud guard when you pushed it and the tyres were not over pumped.- The handle is loose, by that I mean that it has movement up and down in each position rather than locking in firmly. It is really annoying.- The manoverability is very average, especially when you have two kids in and need to turn a corner on a slope- Double conversion kit - at 6 months old my daughter is too tall to have the zips undone in the recline position - her head hits the bar.- When you have a toddler in the conversion kit on the front (and baby underneath in newborn position), you cant use the sun cover as it is not high enought to fit over toddlers head- No sun cover section that just covers the opening at the back of the pram in newborn position (like the rain cover section that comes with the pram)

I really enjoy my P&T. So much so that now I rarely have 2 children in it, but still put the double kit on the back because then I have the biggest under pram basket on the market!
I have fixed all the little foibles to my stisfaction whilst spednign less than $100 extra.
It does pay to shop around for the initial layout as I bought mine over the internet (and not just because I live over 5 hours from my nearest baby shop)and did save over $200.
I use the P&T when we go into town, and use my big 4 wheel pram on the farm, so don't find the i...Read more

I love this pram as its very light and compact when folded. It fits through a standard checkout. It takes a second seat that is easily attached and removed and you can buy many different accessories such as bassinet, sun cover, rain cover, pannier bags, seat liners and has capsule brackets available for a few different capsules. The handle is height adjustable and pram is easily maneuvered on just about any surface. The only problem are brake can be a little stiff and it's awkward to get a newborn into main seat when toddler seat on top, but having capsule attachment alleviates this problem and second seat is used on bottom.

Excellent Kid Mover
we have a Phil & Ted's Sport stroller and recently used it for a trip to Sydney walking all around inner Sydney with a 1 and a 3 year old. The attachable toddler seat was great and suitable for both kids and the three wheels made it easy to steer and its wheel base isn't as wide as others so we fitted in all shops. the sturdy steel frame makes it a heavy pram and we worried about getting hit with excess baggage on the plane but the steel frame also gives you piece of mind that its strong and can be loaded up with all the kids junk. However you ...Read more

Best pram I've Owned!
I love my Phil & Ted pram its so versital single child or two children, very easy to push even now at the girls ages being 4 and nearly 3, I got when I had my second baby and loved how it took a capsule, that with other accerories I also had a very portable bouncer. My girls in the beginning once the youngest was 1 used to fight over who would sit in the bottom seat which I found surprising, lucky they were about the same weight give 1kg and they were 19 months apart, now at 4 and nearly 3 they both fight who sits in the frontI. u can have heaps of room when shopping with the toddler seat attached for your bags. I also love how you can easily update colour fabrics get pieces replaced if they break so easily on the website and it has quick postage too. The only problems ive had with the pram is that the frame doesnt lock, (does on the v2 version), I had trouble finding a easy way to open it but its most likely me as i brought the pram second hand from a friend and forgot to ask the easy way to fold have worked it out now but took a good 8 months lol, the brake was hard to put on but i fixed that with wd40 and i had a problem with a wheel but found out it was the bearings that needed to be replaced $2 each so nice and cheap. lots of uses eg baby, baby and toddler buy accessories and it can be a bouncer too, easy to stare, easy to get replacement parts. no frame lock but mine was the v1, and v2 has it, had trouble folding but worked it out now.Similar opinion? Great Pram especially for off road use
I purchased this pram because at the time it was one of only a few that could have a toddler seat attached, I live in the country so lots of gravel walking trails. The pram has been great in this regard, through fields over gravel, no problem. The extra seat now I have 2 kids is also great. Very maneuverable when in town, no problems getting through isles at the supermarket. The brake is very stiff so I often undo it by hand and the lower rear seat strap (to raise the sitting position) is also difficult to do & I'm not a total weakling. Overall...Read more
I like this pram but there a lot of double options out there now, glad I don't have to choose again as this will last me until the kids have outgrown it. Great off road Brake is stiff, rear strap buckle difficult to do upSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I have been over all very happy but can understand that some of the problems I have had would put people off buying the Sport. But for me the Pro's outweigh the Con's- Its narrow, easy to fold, takes alot of weight, both kids can recline to sleep, extra seat takes more weight than most toddler seats and it looks good. If you buy one make sure its from a good retailer because if you do have problems you will want them to look after you plus you have a warranty.
This is the second pram I have owned & has suited my needs perfectly. Able to have 2 ...Read more

Overall I think this is the best double pram option. Nice and narrow, not bulky. It folds down flat and neatly, and you can switch it back to a single pram really easily! Great pram!
Best pram I have owned (and I have had alot of prams) .Folds down flat to put into car. Narrow enough to go through shopping checkouts.
Not as well built as some of the competitors prams. Tyres seem to need pumping up often.

Does the job it is supposed to
I've just bought my second P&T Sport. I sold my original that I had purchased new in 2008 in order to purchase a Bugaboo Donkey, but I was so disappointed in that I sold it and have gone back to a 2nd hand Sport as you can no longer get them new, paired with a 2nd hand Mountain Buggy Urban Double for walking.
The Sport isn't brilliant, pretty, or resoundingly heavy duty. It has some aspects that are frustrating (see list of cons) but on the whole it does move two children from point A to point B with the same footprint as your average three ...Read more
wheeler. It is relatively robust, and the current quality of P&T is far less than what was experienced with this model and it's precursor, the E3. Perhaps the quality will improve with the two new P&T offerings, the Dot and the Navigator. I have never had issues with this stroller tipping, but you need to use common sense. You CANNOT seat a child in the toddler seat without some weight in the front without it tipping. When removing your children, always take out the child seated in the toddler seat first. Although P&T do not recommend this, I have always been able to use my Maxi Cosi capsule with the toddler seat underneath and it has not once tipped. One of the accusations against this stroller is that it is heavy. Yes, it is heavy compared to an umbrella stroller, but could that stroller support the weight of two children? It weighs a similar weight to my Bugaboo Cameleon and Mountain Buggy Urban. To me, anything under 13kg in stroller terms is lightweight. You soon build up the muscles needed to put it into the boot, and I could lift this stroller easily even in advanced pregnancy. Compact for a double, main seat is fairly large, ability to take Maxi Cosi capsule, wide range of fabric choices, better quality than current models, P&T are very cheap even new, much smaller footprint than the dreaded Strider Plus Unable to use basket with toddler seat on bottom, I think the newborn/toddler mode is very poor which is why I always used my capsule (also allows for rear facing), not easy to change covers, recline system very poor on this model and need to remove child to put backrest up, need to buy extras like raincover separatelySimilar opinion? Terrible
Definetely would be looking at other double prams. THis pram is great as a single pram but not as a double pram.
Compact, light weight, easy to maneouver.
I didn't like the fact that the newborn baby is underneath the toddler seat initially. The newborn baby can't kick their legs or see anything as they are stuck under the toddler seat. The only way to get your newborn baby out to change or feed is to remove the toddler seat which I found difficult as my toddler tended to try and run away the minute I removed him from the seat. Now my newbo...Read more

Bad
We bought it because our pram didn't take a toddler seat and friends had this one as well as seeing it around a lot. Am very disappointed in it and use our original pram with the baby bjorn much more often.
It takes 2 children, toddler seat easy to put on front or back
very difficult to change from upright to recline position and vice versus even without child, but particularly with child in (near impossible), brakes are very difficult to get off so don't use them, pram tends to tip to side on slope so wrists are very strained to keep pram upright, baby has very little head clearance when toddler is on front, only has basket down bottom so have to buy accessories if you want a drink bottle accessible at top.

Good Pram but wished I had more knowledge when buying first pram !!
I have the Sports V1 ... So easy to manouvre .... easy to fold ... but HEAVY ... If you tend to suffer from a bad back like myself definitely shop around and get a lighter pram. I wished I had done some more research myself. They really need to make the sunhood bigger also, doesnt create much shade when out walking. I do have the UV cover but my 20 month old hates being stuck behind it and pulls at it !! Have not used my Phil and Teds in a while, had to buy a cheaper pram that was light enough to lug in and out of car.
Extremely easy to push and manouvre.
HEAVY and sunhood to small.

Everything we need + More!
So easy to manouvre! Folds up nicely, and is very versitile! I have 2 kids, and have used it for newborn + toddler, 2 toddlers, and I even had the capsule on top, and my toddler underneath. I love that you can go on any surface and it's always easy to push! After 3 years it's still going strong, and will hopefully still be great if we decide on a 3rd baby! :0)
easy to push, folds up nicely, versitile! Love it!
I only had one issue, and that was with the sun cover, the wire poked a hole through the hood and I ended up pulling the wire out. Hasn't been an issue though, as I can still use the hook.

Reliable and Compact
We bought this second hand in preparation for our second baby arriving. So far we are really happy with it. As a used item, we got it cheaper than in a shop but it was still in excellent condition. We used it for a few months as a single pram as well as a double. We even carted our toddler as well as our friends toddler in it together and it was still very smooth and easy to push. Excellent for walking and really compact. Accessories are handy and parts are easy to replace.
It drives very smoothly. I was concerned out the pump up wheels when we...Read more

The sports model from Phil & Ted is an amazing all round pram. Whether you are taking one or two children, it's is so way to push while shopping or exercising and even running with!! The reclining toddler seat makes it alot more comfortable for a smaller child and the double rain & sun cover mean nothin can stop you from takin the kids out for fresh air!!
Compact fold, reliable brand!!

Would recommend this buggy to anyone and everyone.
I don't understand how come when people have a problem with a product they have purchased why they don't go back to the store and let them know instead of making whining little comments.
Ladies, this buggy is worth it, I haven't found another double that comes anywhere near it.

Great pram
This is a great pram for me.i use the double kit and it Fits my 3yr old and 7 mth old nicely. Love that it has pump up tyres, makes for a smooth ride on all surfaces. Easy to add / remove the extra seat. Easy to fold / unfold. Is a bit heavy and bulky but no more then the single pram i used to own.

Wish i had bought it earlier.
Bought this pram when our second child arrived, as it was just too difficult trying to push a pram with a newborn baby and try to keep track of a toddler. Tried other double prams but they felt like i was manoeuvrings a tank. Loved the look of the Phil & Teds. It was light, easy to push and didn't feel too heavy even with 2 children. I really wish i had thought ahead when i was having my first baby and bought a pram like this with the option of adding the toddler seat, but to be honest i wasn't really thinking of my second baby when i had my fi...Read more
rst... It was great when i went walking and never felt heavy. Easy to unload/load in the car. Occasionally it was difficult to turn around a tight corner, especially with two children on board, and i had to kind of lift the wheels, but other then that it was a breeze. As much as i loved my P & T Sports, there are a few things that could be improved for future models - When you have a newborn lying flat, you have to put the toddler seat on top, which means you have to take older child off, along with seat to get access to baby. Baby is hidden from the world, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but people were often surprised i had a baby underneath the older child. When you have the pram lying in flat position for new babies, it is difficult to get into the basket underneath and when you have the Toddler seat on the back, there is no where to hang your bag as it hits the child in the toddler seat on the head and it can be difficult to put your things in the basket when you have a child in the toddler seat. We bought the travel bag for this pram when we went on holiday, but it was complicated and time consuming to pack it. You have to take the wheels off in order for it to fit in the bag, which means you cant just take it out the bag at your destination and unfold it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Found it a breeze to use
With two children, PLUS shopping on top, on the side and on the back, it STILL rolls lightly around corners, uphill, through narrow isles, etc. Its a great pram. The second seat was extremely easy to attach and detach which is important when you are trying to get two kids in/out of a car. Very good newborn fittings, and versatile in layout for newborn/two toddlers format. Large shopping basket underneath.
Easy collapsible, light weight. Fits in most small carboots. 3 seconds assembly.
Easy to put up and down!
Popped a few tyres

I have just bought a Phil and Teds sport stroller from the local op shop, in great condition . Couldn’t believe my luck, but...how do you fold it up?
2 answers
That’s awesome! You’ll love it!
Under the seat near where it goes to the feet plastic section, you’ll see a red clip, push and slide it across and the stroller top will fold down and then it clips up when you pick it up.
I had an older version so the fold up mechanism was different. If you have a sport, this video is pretty helpful.
