Don’t let user ignorance deter you

I really believe after reading many reviews that are negative about products are in fact people who do not really understand how products are meant to work. Grant it yes you do sometimes get faults. But this iron is a dream. I make most of my clothes and I find this iron is great. The features are fantastic, Calc removal system yes yes yes. I would recommend it

Can not burn any product able to be ironed,
No settings needed to be set, it works it out.
Nothing can burn & stick to the iron
Steam works well
Safety cut out if left on .Or left on ironing board
Gone through heaps of irons this is the best

So easy to use, no change of temperature and no need to keep finger on steam button

published

Heats up in about 2 minutes. I have ironed a pair of linen trousers immediately followed by ironing a silk blouse. No time waiting for temperatures to adjust and no dials to alter. I don't even have to keep my finger on the steam button when ironing- though did have to re -watch the instructional video to remember this. My husband has always done the ironing as he enjoys it and is so much better than me BUT this iron is so easy that I may start ironing again. No heavy steam generator to pick up. Our existing steam generator still works but having seen a demo of this, I had to have it and am so pleased I did. Steam function is A1 and clothes are dry not damp after ironing.

Hello, Philips team. I've only just purchased my Azur Elite (GC5031) steam iron and am keen to use it according to your directions. We purchased it because of sustainability concerns. We're keen to have a good iron which can be repaired if necessary and our repairs service recommended your Azur Elite. Too many irons end up in landfill unnecessarily. Here's my question: What do I need to know about the use of spray starch with my new iron? I iron a lot of formal heavy cotton shirts and blouses which absolutely do need a little puff of spray starch to bring out their best. The GC5031 steampower is great with heavy cottons, linens, denims etc but I need some tips for using spray starch in such a way as to keep me and my new iron happy. Thank you! Juliet, Brisbane.
