Not sure, if you find out please let me know. I am not overly keen on the meshy basket that is in the air fryer, it makes it very hard to get the stuck on crumbs etc, out of it.

Hello Philips Team,

I just bought the model HD9218. I have 2 questions:

1. When preparing chicken/Fish I would like to add a tea spoon of oil. Could I do it whit this model? The instructions in the box are very short and not very clear. I think a sample recipe included in the box could give us at least an idea. :(.
2. My first preparation was a small portion of veggies and the broccoli turned out very bad and dry. There is something I am missing? Thank you. Paty

Hi, there.

Thank you for reaching out to us here and congratulations with your new Airfryer.

You can always add a bit of oil on the food to make it a bit more crunchier. Just don't forget to throw out the remaining oil from the pan after the Airfryer has cooled down and clean the pan thoroughly.

To give you more specific tips, like how to prepare broccoli, we'd like you to contact our product team or visit our recipe page: https://bit.ly/35JX5kJ. If you're in Australia, call 1300 363 391. For New Zealand, call 0800 658 224. Our colleagues should be able to assist this further for you.

Kind regards,
The Philips Australia Team.

I also purchased the rack, should fit 4 drumsticks underneath with fries on top of rack, ensuring nothing is touching the roof of the fryer. You could also reverse it, so that the juices from the chicken drops onto the chips

Thanks for asking, Brad. Yes, chips and drumsticks can be prepared simultaneously, as they require the same settings.
