Works well and as expected
I have the Philips Series 2000 Air Purifier, the Breville Smart Air Plus and the InovaAir DE20. They all work well. Both the Breville and the Philips have a sensor to measure PM 2.5. The numbers don't agree exactly but when the air quality is intermediate or worse, they concur. The InovaAir doesn't have a sensor to measure pollution and at over $1500, it probably should. fferent ways. The Breville has UV light to kill microbes but I'm not sure if this is a gimmick or genuinely useful. The InovaAir has a massive activated carbon filter which is good for smoke and odours. However, they all have decent HEPA filters. I'm waiting for a CHOICE review on all three of these machines.

Works well but weird noise
I had it for a year now, it works well for its purpose. You will be shocked at the dust collected by the filler when cleaning it. But my one develop a weird noise after one month use, sound like something knocking inside, doesn't happen all the time but most. Bring to service centre at south of Sydney but they just tide up some screws, the noise still exit like before, cann't use it when sleeping which is quite a let down. For it's price tag, I expect a better made.

Silent, super efficient, simple to use, cheap to run
Our home has no air vents or air conditioner, dust particles build up rapidly and I also suffer from a skin allergy and breathing problems at night. The air purifier can be placed in most area's of the home, but not recommended to use in kitchen or near a heater or air conditioner.

ght for around 45 minutes and light then turned blue (good air quality). The sensor (side flap on LH side) is very sensitive to air born particles. I vacuumed the lounge with my Dyson, adjacent to the bedroom with door open. The air purifier run for 1 hour to return to good air quality. At night I change fan speed to sleep mode (SL) on Bacteria & Virus mode and unit runs on super quite whisper mode. The unit lights can be very bright at night and by pressing the light dimming button will turn them down. I have not used the purifier long enough to test filter life, but I believe they should last around 1 year, but are quite expensive to purchase. If you suffer asthma, hay fever, watery eyes or allergies, or live near a polluted city, I would highly recommend the Philips 2000 Air purifier. The RRP new is AU$529 and I purchased mine online from KG Electronics in Victoria with a discount coupon for AU$396.
