I wear these at night time and they are great. I would wear them in the day time, but I wear a lot of tighter fitting shirts and you can see them too easily.
Great size for night time use. Best absorbency of any I have tried and are very comfortable.
Can be a bit bulky and noticeable when wearing tighter clothing.

I have tried these and the Rite Aid brand of breast pads and there is not much difference between the two. The Pigeon brand does seem to feel a bit softer to the touch, but once you are wearing them it makes no difference. I now only buy the Rite Aid brand, simply because they are cheaper.
Soft and thin. Never had a leak. Invisible under clothes.
Much more expensive than other brands, and there is less in the pack.
There is only a thin sticky strip holding it in place and it tends to slip around in your bra. Becomes sweaty to wear on hot days because of the plastic backing.

Pigeon Premum does a very good job, it's very absorbent & comfortable and it last the whole day. The size is not too small so it works through night too. I personally use the Pigeon Ultra Slim ones coz they are a lot cheaper (you can get bulk packs in Roy Young Chemist) but if you leak a lot then Pigeon Premium is the best! I also tried Avent & Johnson, I think they are good but the actual size is a bit small so it's hard to keep them in place throughout the night.
Very absorbent, good size not too small
expensive

A great reliable breast pad. The self adhesive strip on the back ensures that they stay in place in your bra. The pads are so absorbent, that sometimes it is difficult to tell if any leakage has occured. I tend to try and buy them when they are on special, because they can be a bit pricey.
Pigeon is a well known name, so I knew that the breast pads would be reliable. I never had any problems with leaking while using these pads.
The pads are folded in half when packaged, and occasionally the fold line could be a bit bulky, and wouldn't sit right in my bra. Apart from that, they were great.

This product allowed me to feel comfortable in the early days of breastfeeding. I didn't use them long because I did not leak but I found them useful to use to protect my bras from the nipple cream stains. These were highly recommended by a friend and I recommended them to new mums too. Just don't go silly stocking up on huge amounts before bub is born, you may not need that many.
Thick and absorbent breast pads. Individually wrapped. Have a strong sticky packing to keep them in place.
They are quite thick and can be seen through tight fitting shirts. The individual packaging seems wasteful, they should at least be packaged in pairs.

I like that Pigeon has two sticky strips to hold onto clothes better. They dont let me down at all. I drive quite far to buy them as they are not sold in our local shops.
Love these, I feel safe to go out in public while breastfeeding with these.
Dont have any

These are my favourite breast pads. They are so very absorbant and they do not stick to the nipple as some breast pads seem to (OUCH!) They are available at Big W and chemists in my area. It is much cheaper to purchase them from big w at the moment. They do not seem scented and they do not irritate my skin. Really keep me dry and help prevent nipple damage.
These breast pads are great. They are very very absorbant and do not stick like some do. The seem to be available from chemists and big w
They are a bit bulky but they are so absorbant.

I loved these in the beginning as I am a huge leaker in the early days. However they are pretty bulky. And it is a catch 22 while they do hold lots of milk you also can't afford to leave a damp breast pad on, especially in the early days so in some ways a less absorbent breast pad is good. But I didn't find they leaked onto clothes which is great as who needs any extra washing with a new baby around.
Especially in the early days when there is milk EVERYWHERE great
Pretty bulky in your bra

These are my favourite breast pads just because of the comfort factor. Some of the other brand pads are scratchy and that really hurts my cracked nipples. They aren't exactly cheap but since they hold alot of milk you won't change them as often as other brands.
They are really absorbant, super soft material are great on the nipples (which is very important those first few days) they are a great shape for my E cup breasts.
They are abit bulky. I have to go to Big W to buy them because they are hard to find in supermarkets and are way overpriced in chemists.

OK
Overall they are an ok pad, however if you have large breast (F cups for me), the pads are really obvious and make your breast look a funny shape. I far prefer and now exclusively use the Pigeon Ultra Thin which seem to be superior to me.
The Pigeon Premium pads have good absorbancy and are soft on the nipples.
They are far too thick, and even for someone like me who over-produced milk like crazy, it was unnecessary. They are not always easy to find in the supermarket unlike some of the other products/ brands. They can be obvious you are wearing them.

So far, so good! Really, the 'cons' are worth it for a breast pad that does the job so well.
I remember most of the ones that I tried with my first child frustrated me for some reason or another. This time around, I've been using these and haven't had any problems. I've never had a problem with them showing through my shirt, but I usually wear quite thick bras and shirts, so that could be why. They stop me from leaking out, they stay in place, they're comfortable.
I find the individual packaging quite annoying. After putting them on, I have to ...Read more

Very good product have used with all three children, tried a couple of others and always come back to this one. They are very discreet, breast feeding can be a hellish experience so why look like an American grid iron sport star as well. They are compact and hygenically packed and a great space saver.
Super discreet and absorbant. Individually wrapped for storing in all sorts of places.

Tried lots of brand on the market as just had my first baby but found this one to be one of the best as it holds leakages well and doesnt go fluffy as some other brand can.
good absorbency

I found these premium pads were not as good for me as the pigeon ultra thin. I found them to be too thick, and not suitable to wear to work as I wear a white polo shirt. Not too bad overall, but being premium, I think they could be improved.
These breast pads are great for people who have quite a lot of leakage. They are really absorbant and are comfortable to wear. They have two sticky places on them so that they don't move around a lot inside yor bra.
These are quite thick, so if you are wearing a thin bra with not much padding, it can be quite obvious underneath.

Overall the Pigeon breast pads are a good product, however not my number one choice. If the supermarket didn't have the ones that I normally buy (Johnson & Johnson) then Pigeon are my second choice.
Individually wrapped, nice and thin.
The wrapping is noisy to undo (like scrunching up a plastic shopping bag) which is frustrating when you're trying to be discreet. They pads themselves also make a bit of noise if you're moving around a lot. I also found that they were not as comfortable as other brands and were almost too big for me (they would stick out of my bra).

I would definately recommend these. In most cases I use the slim version of the Pigeon pads as they are a little cheaper and not as potentially visible as these. But these do have a greater absorbency level. I would buy these more often if I could find them in the shops as I do leak quite a lot.
Soft and absorbent. Good for when my nipples were ultra sensitive during the early days, I also liked that it has two adhesive strips on each pad to help them stay in place in the bra
It is a little bit thick so if you are wearing a thin bra and top they can be visible. Can be difficult to find in the shops.

Bad
I was not very impressed with these breast pads. I have found many cheaper pads that work much better. The only good thing about them was that they are sealed in there own packets.
These breast pads are very expensive and are visible through your bra and shirt.
Beside being overpriced they were not comfortable to wear.

Really good, comfortable and haven't had a leak with them at all. Can wear them with tight fitting clothes without problems. Had a free sample in the bounty pack at birth and liked them ever since! Have tried other brands, but no where near as comfortable.
Absorbant and easy to use. Stay in place with the adhesive tape. Very comfortable and don't show through your clothes.
I've found that some places charge up to three times more than other pads for this product (especially baby-specific places). We got it on special at our local supermarket for cheap.

I grabbed these one day before i had my daughter 4 weeks ago and have loved them since, i also tried the Pigeon ultra slims but they left my nipple wet and therefor felt uncomfortable and was hard for my daughter to latch on so i went back to the premiums and will not be diverting again!!!! I have aslo tried many other brands but found these the best. If you have a lot of milk then give these ago.
Super absorbent, stays in place, comfortable, discreet.
Nothing so far

I LOVED these breast pads in all aspects. I am unable to fault them in any way except for the price. I was paying more than double for a packet of Pigeon Premium in comparison to other breast pads (which, it must be noted, were not nearly as comfortable).
Contoured, kept their shape after feeding. Two adhesive points ensures prevention of movement. Ultra absorbent, so you never feel wet/uncomfortable. Discreet (which is great in Summer when wearing singlet tops/tighter tops & dresses).
Contrary to other reviewers, I found the Pigeon Premium to be rather expensive in comparison to other breast pads. Of course you are definitely getting quality for the money as there is no comparison when it comes to comfort and reliability.
