Sooooo Noisy!
We recently brought a VW Golf with these tyre fitted. They are really nice and smooth on motorway quality tarmac but as soon as you hit the coarse chip... you need ear plugs, I really cant get over how noisy they are. I understand that these are an entry level quality Pirelli tyre, but c'mon Pirelli, have some pride in your brand name, the road noise from these tyres is atrocious.

Comfort ride, good grip, not very very quiet
First thing I noticed after changing tyres to this Pirelli, is that ride is very comfortable.
Looks like soft sidewall is helping the comfort.
The grip is very good on dry and wet.
Only small negative thing is noise from tyres.
I noticed tyres are a bit noisy when I drive 80kmh or faster. But it's not really anything to be picked.

very good tyre
have been used the tyre for a while, it looks very last for a while
being told the tyre very last for at least 50,000 kilo, and I very much believe that. Actually I think it will go beyond that.
previously have the bridgestone tyre, it was alright, the pireli perform a bit better than the bridgestone

Cheapies, but so far so good.
Only had these tyres for about 6 months now.
When pumped up they gripped well around roundabouts, but give them a week, and you get screeching.
Unsure if this is the tyre or the fitting of it.
So far they are a lot better than the Goodyear Triple Max tyres I had before which were pretty rubbish and more expensive.

Quiet and sticky
After reading positive review, I've bought a set for the Ford Falcon XR6, what an improvement this is, the tyres are sticky around the corners and very quiet on the highway. It's very grippy in the dry weather. In some months there are cash back offers on pirelli P1 tyres.

Great value
Bought the Pirelli Cinturato P1 after reading positive reviews. I noticed the greater grip immediately on the dry. Only just got a channce to test in wet conditions in last couple of weeks and am impressed with grip on wet as well. Havent noticed any noise from them. Only been on the car since Dec 16 so can't comment on durability. Handle well on gravel as well, which I do a fair bit of driving on.Overall, a great tyre $204 for 2 tyres, supplied & fitted through tyresales.

Perfect tyres at an unbelievable price
I was looking to replace the tyres on my 2008 Camry when i stumbled upon these online. I must say the best decision i made when I bought these. I immediately noticed the difference in the ride quality (Was previously using Kumho). Not that Kumho tyres wee bad but these ones are exceptionally good. Not only was the ride much smoother but the noise suppression has been great. The handling too is much better. This has been a happy purchase for me. I have read some contrary reviews but at least for me, these tyres have been great.

Great
These tyres were of great quality and durability for my car as they have been good on the road for quite a while. The tyres provide a greater grip on the road so it doesn't slide. Overall great tyres and would likely be purchasing the same brand if required next time

Good tyres
Pretty good tyres, nothing to complain about. Hold well on dry and wet surface, highway only though. Not as much noise as from Dunlop I had before. Got them for like 160 each, so not the cheapest option around however I'm happy to pay a bit extra for better quality.

Noisy Tyres.
I have my Mercedes fitted with Pirelli Cinturato P1 245/40R18. My god it really gives you nightmares. The tyres are still fairly new about 2 years old. The rumbling and whining sound from the front tyres makes the car so unbearable for the Mercedes to be driven .
Took to tyre shop, have it changed to continental tyres . The car now drives like new. It really makes you wonder what on earth Pirelli is doing .those tires should be withdrawn from market !
Was told by the tyre shop that these tyres are known for this noise problem and they went out of shape after a while. Shame on you,Pirelli. Won't touch another Pirelli tyres again.

Pirelli tyres have the name, so I would expect more lifespan of the tyre
The tyres have withstood 15 kilometres daily of sometimes badly corrugated, rocky road. Generally they have travelled well on the highway with minimum noise level. The tread has been impressive; not only looks good on the 18" wheels, but also makes for good handling in the wet conditions. Only one complaint and it is a big one and that is that the back tyres are due for replacement after travelling 26 000 kms.

Excellent quality
I recently purchased Pirelli Cinturato tyres for a very good price ($105 each fitted) I wasn't sure about this brand since I've never have bought this brand before, I read many reviews some were good some not so good but I deciced to go ahead try them since they were so cheap, well, I am happy I made the decision to buy them, they are the best tyres I've had, they grip the road so well I feel safer driving even in the rain they do very well, I am totally satisfied with them, some of the reviews stated that they are a bit noise but that is not true they are very quiet and a pleasure to drive in. I have nothing but words of praise for this tyres. I am a happy customer highly recommend them.

Great deal
I recently bought four brand new tyres for my Nissan Navarra Dual Cab in Castle Hill, Sydney, New South Wales. The tyres are hard wearing, long lasting, they really grip the road, yet are very quiet. All in all I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend them to anyone.

Was it necessary
I have no doubt the tyres are up to the correct standards concerning grip, moveability, comfortably and safety, I just don't understand why the huge price difference compared to a less expensive brand which I truly believe would share the same standards. Could two different tyres be that much different to each other in quality, durability etc?

Good quality performance tyre
I've had these on both my current car (FWD) and my last one (RWD) and never had a problem, except for picking up a roofing screw in one which required the tyre to be replaced.
I've got about 45,000km out of them, which is decent for a low profile tyre (215/45/R17). In comparison the near new Kumho tyres my current car came with lasted less than 5,000kms before needing to be replaced.
Performance is excellent in the dry and good in the wet. I do a bit of driving in the hills, and they corner very well. The highway noise is probably the biggest downside, as others have mentioned.
Mine are now due to be replaced, and I'd probably go the same again depending on prices/specials.

Great all round tyre
Have bought a second set of these for my partners Mazda 3, she uses the car mainly for short trips and i have found these tyres are very well suited for performance of the vehicle and also are a very safe Tyre. I would recommend them to anyone seeking something that is reasonably priced with great life span.

Below average tyre for an average cost.
Very soft sidewall, don't clip a gutter or you'll be replacing tyres. Good wet grip, need to run reasonably higher pressures to offset sloppy sidewall. Quite a noisy tyre at highway speeds, similar noise levels to my Landcruiser. In summary just "ok" for the money but definitely won't buy again due to the very soft sidewalls.

Poor Quality Tyre Bald after 25,000km
I had the Pirelli P1 Tyres fitted to the front of my 2011 Toyota Aurion which were recommended by Jax Tyres. They have only lasted 25,000km. They were fitted & balanced with a wheel alignment & the tyres are worn evenly across the tread so I cannot blame the car. The original Michelin Tyres lasted 75,000km.

Good but noisy!
I have these tyres fitted to a 2003 Mercedes C200K; they wear and handle well but are incredibly noisy on this car on anything but "freeway quality tarmac". This car has previously had Continentals (originals I think?) which were A1, and relatively inexpensive Hankooks which were spectacularly good for the price. I've used Pirelli Tyres successfully on and off for 40 years and I wouldn't buy them again for this car, and would have to be convinced to put them on another car - very disappointing really, given the reputation of Pirelli and my previous experience with them.

Hi is the tyre make any noise on freeway?

I didn't notice any extra noise from these tyres when compared to others on my 2013 Toyota Corolla 4 door sedan, but then again I always drive with my windows closed and the AC on.
These tyres give a very comfortable ride and grip the road well in wet and dry conditions as well as lots of KM and I will buy these tyres again.
Hello Swaran, no the Pirelli tyre is surprisingly quite on the freeway when I purchased mine I thought they would be quite driving around my local area but after having the tyres on for 4 or 5 days I drove on the freeway for about 1 hour 30 mins and i was totally surprised with the lack of noise and the handling of my car with the new Pirelli tyres. I Hope this helps you Swaran.
