Everything we well, thank goodness !
hi all, after hearing such horror stories here i was about to use someone else, but wanted to give Prixcar a go as their Brisbane depot is only 10 mins from my house. Picked up the car and it was in perfect condition, after reading horror stories I am pleasantly surprised everything went well and service was excellent, enjoyed the tracker too as you can see where the truck is with you car onboard, overall i am very pleased.
regards
Clayton

Much faster than estimated
Got a 2003 Prado transported from Melbourne to Perth - collection from street address to the Perth depot $1500. Pickup was pretty seamless - my friend in Melbourne was given a 4 hour pickup window that suited here (they contacted her the day before the nominated pickup date to arrange). The pickup was done on the 6/03/2020 and the delivery estimate was for the 3/4 April for standard transport- note quotes are given as days but this is business days.
To my surprise, the car turned up only 12 days later in Perth on the 18/3/2020 much faster tha...Read more
n the estimate. From the reviews I've seen on here, this is not typical and I was expecting the car to be later than the quote. As for damages, I haven't noticed anything though my car is old and had a fair amount of minor cosmetic damage - carefully document all damages before initial pickup and compare to when you sign to pickup upon arrival if you are concerned. Tracking info you can subscribe to which gives you alerts by SMS - this was pretty basic didn't get an update when it left Melbourne or during transit just when it arrived in Perth and arrived initially at the Melbourne Depot. If you have an expensive car or have the luxury of time to move your car yourself that's the cheapest and safest option (in terms of damage worries) though I cannot fault the service I have got with PrixCar just a bit expensive in my opinion.

Terrible Service
Use this transport at your own risk. It’s taken nearly 4 weeks to transport my ute from Melbourne to Adelaide where it still isn’t there as of today and was suppose to arrive in Darwin on the 20th March. Now told today that it won’t be here until late next week. This is my work ute and will cost me thousands in lost work. Unacceptable and wish I read other reviews on here before using.

Unbelievable Irresponsible carrier
Absolute horror dealing with this company. They past their quoted timeframe by weeks and the car arrived with scratches. Upon arrival, the vehicle inspector clearly identified scratches on my car and noted them on the vehicle condition report, and asked me to call the claim team asap. I contacted the claim team and they refused to accept responsibility despite the report prepared by their inspection clearly states there were several scratches on my car (5 parallel linear vertical scratches in the middle of the front right door and 3 other longe...Read more
r scratches more spread out towards the bottom of the door). There is also a paint chip on the front of my car which I thought was birds dropping/some gunk.... The claim officer Alex simply refused to provide resolution and claimed I could polish these out?? this is outrageous and everybody should stay away from them. I have reported this matter to Fair Trading NSW. I would ask everyone to report their wrongdoing to the authorities as Prixcar will NOT accept responsibilities for damages they caused to your car.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Should have gone with another transport company! Poor service.
Car dropped off at QLD depot on 17th Jan 2020, supposed to arrive in Adelaide on 5th Feb. It’s now 7th Feb and it’s still sitting in Brisbane. Made several phone calls to Prix and was promised that it would be put on “priority” but the vehicle still hasn’t left the Brisbane depot. I can understand there’s been fires in certain places which may cause some delay but I drove my other car from QLD to SA and there were no fires along the route. Of course their T&C’s state that there are no guarantees on timeframes for delivery. How ridiculous is that!! Being in the logistics business...they should know when they’ll be able to deliver. Imagine if all trade and commerce in the world was run like this.
Pick another transport company is my advice.

Choose another carrier
Car arrived damaged, spent hours trying to get them to take responsibility but they continually avoided our calls. Manager was rude and condescending. We had photographic evidence (before and after shots) that were ignored.
Car sat in Darwin for a week before it was sent, without our knowledge. We were told it was being shipped on the day of drop off.
Good luck if you chose them!

Not even worth 1 star.
Car transported from Perth to Melbourne.
Given a two week time frame which was as I expected. Only for the car to be sitting in Perth two weeks after I dropped it off. It had not even left by the time they told me it would arrive in Melbourne. I had to call them repeatedly otherwise I would of not been kept up to date with the logistics. Every time I call it keeps getting pushed back further that what I get told. They are an absolute shambles of a company that has no accountability for their service. Will also add please make sure you observe them going over your car for damages during drop off. This company is an utter joke, please be aware.

Damaged goods on transit
I had my mx5 delivered from Sydney into Adelaide depot on Monday. Only to discover that the display/stereo screen had been broken. I was asked to contact the company two days later so they can investigate the issue. I rang twice with no responses

Car forgotten at depot. Missing in transit. Incompetent, unprofessional company.
I dropped my car to the Brisbane depot on 31 December. On the delivery date stated on my receipt (22 Jan), I called to find out if I could collect if from the Perth Depot. No one could find my car. After waiting for 10 minutes on hold, I was informed that they had forgotten to load my car and it was still in Brisbane, sitting outside for 4 weeks. I was told it would be placed in a priority queue and delivered on the 30th Jan. It is now 31 Jan and the car has still not arrived, and the customer service number is malfunctioning and I cannot get through to speak to anyone. I have already paid for a week of car hire, which they said they would not reimburse. Incompetent, unprofessional. Strongly recommend that you avoid this company.

No Respect for your property
Sent a car that was in exceptional as new condition from Cairns to Adelaide, It did arrive on time albeit with a long deep gouge (dent) on the roof. They appear to self insure so they will pay you costs based on a couple of quotes. However you will have to sign a waiver so they can wipe their hands of you. Total inconvenience and you will be doing all the leg work with no help from them.
Try the others with this in mind (would not use again)

total rogues. Don't trust them. Never use
these guys have it all their way. Very long wait times, people don't deliver unless it is within their time-frame. Won't drop the car under instructions, inflexible with pickup, inflexible with everything.
I had someone leave a message and then got back to them a few hours later. Too late, missed the run, wait til Monday. If you want to collect then fine, at your own cost, no refund of the $300 extra to have delivered.
This is despite my calling them that day to ask about delivery !!!

"Worse that Amateurs" - Do Not Use If You Value Your Vehicle
I recently transported several vehicles with Prixcar from NT to NSW. The team in the NT where good, tentative and valued the vehicles being transported. One vehicle was transported in a rail container due to the classic nature of the vehicle after lengthy discussions with a member of the Prixcar transport team. The cost was very expensive but was the best solution to transport the vehicle, otherwise it may have been potentially during the lengthy journey if transported via the open sided trailer method. When the vehicle arrived it was like an a...Read more
mateur had transported the car which had extensive front end damage to the body, scratched windscreen and very unclean outside as though it had been stored outside for weeks. Following up with Prixcar they denied they had caused the damage even though the photographs and written records from Prixcar prior to leaving the NT noted no damage etc. After multiple phone calls Prixcar claims department issued a form in which it noted that the vehicle owner had to obtain three quotations from reputable companies along with addition evidence to validate their quotations, in addition to the fact that they could reject the quotations if they so desired. Alternatively, I could claim through my insurance company. Following discussions with several companies, the easiest avenue was to seek a 'legal' route in order to simplify the process for myself. Obtaining a quotation for the repair backed up with an independent valuation from a legal company had the matter dealt with in 4 weeks without any further input from myself. The vehicle was professionally repaired without any further cost to myself. I therefore strongly suggest NEVER to use Prixcar to transport any vehicles if you value your vehicle. They are worse than amateurs but charge like professionals. I will never use or recommend Prixcar.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Waste of money
Ordered a car from Sydney to Adelaide, I have currently been waiting for 2 weeks for it to arrive only to find out it hasn’t even left Sydney yet. The tracking system is broken and doesn’t work as it says my vehicle has been in transit for over a week and was meant to arrive 4 days ago. Would not recommend PrixCar to anyone

**Customer Beware** - Prixcar Damage Your Property
I recently had a vehicle transported by Prixcar from Brisbane to a Regional QLD centre. Had the dealer deliver the vehicle (Driven) to the Prixcar depot in Brisbane. Prixcar carried out a very detailed inspection of the car on arrival and sent an the inspection report to review and condition was agreed for transport. The Car sat in the depot for four days before shipping.
The vehicle arrived in the regional centre and inspected on collection and it was found that the front grill badge was removed or damaged in transport.

cess was followed and they carried out an investigation and determined the vehicle was delivered to the Brisbane deport with the part missing. At this point it was up to the Dealer and myself to prove to Prixcar via photographic evidence that the car was delivered with the badge fitted and undamaged. The claim for a replacement part was then further rejected by the Prixcar claims department after multiple phone calls and emails. At no point did Prixcar provide any evidence for the claim rejection. The terms and conditions on the transport agreement cover them for every possible scenario.Similar opinion? Bunch of thieving thief's!
They stole my dash cam which was mounted on the windscreen, loose change that was in the center console and car fresher (yes a car freshener, i was like really can even afford a 2 dollar freshener?!)
All I was told is that they clearly state to remove all personal belongings from the car. There was not even a simple 'Sorry', nothing at all.
I understand it says it in the T&C's but still what right they have to go thru the car and search for things to steal! There was no physical damage to locks or signs someone tried to break in so it was one of their staff members that had access to the car keys that took the things.

Incompetent, rude disrespectful staff - wish i's read reviews before I wasted my money with this incompetent company
I simply cannot come up with enough adjectives to describe how rude, abusive and disrespectful [name removed] is at Queanbeyan depot. He couldn't respond to a text outside his work hours (I mean like at 7.55 when he has an 8am start and is running late) because he doesn't get paid before 8am. Because he wasn't there when I dropped the car off, no condition report was done, I was also advised not to leave a sheet set in the car (a gift to the recipient of the car) by the man at the Toll depot, he guaranteed me it would be stolen. I had no idea ...Read more
where my car was, I had to chase them, I was also guaranteed it to be delivered within 8 days from Queanbeyan to Brisbane, it hasn't been delivered yet, but i'm told its due in Brisbane next friday, which is 10 business days, not the GUARANTEED 8 days.Similar opinion? If I am transporting a 65k luxury vehicle which is near new and being sold to me unregistered. Will the transport company be liable for damage caused to my car or do I have to take out my own transit insurance?
