If you don't need to slice a lot of apples then this is not for you. I cook for an elderly person who loves stewed apples so I am often peeling, coring and slicing apples. You still need to peel the apple but in 2 clicks you have cored and sliced an apple into 16 slices with this gadget. There are a lot of kitchen gadgets that just take up room in your cupboard but if you make a lot of apple pies, apple deserts or stewing apples then this will make your job a lot easier.
