Thanks RAC for the prompt refund when I accidentally purchased two policies for the same trip. No fuss, no delay..it is appreciated.
Guess that's why I use RAC for travel insurance

I have an annual multi trip travel Insurance taken with RAC each year. This year, due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the restrictions on travel, my Insurance was extended for another year, without charge.

I took out travel insurance with RAC to cover a half world cruise and more for my wife and I early in January 2020. Due to travel restrictions we were unable to travel. I thought that we had lost our premium. My wife persuaded me to ask for a refund. To my surprise I was given a full refund for the policy. Magnificent customer service that I did not expect to get from an insurance company. They were just wonderful and I got the refund within 1 week. Brilliant!! I have had all of my insurance with RAC for 47 years and this is why. Such a great company.

The policy was good value and will take one out again when the time comes. RAC was easy to contact, quick to reply, informative, helpful. Very impressed with how quickly the request was actioned and the professionalism of the service team.

Great value for just the excess amount charged by car rental companies. Got a full refund because of the Covid-19 trip cancellation. Used this last year as well. Much cheaper than others for a similar amount.

Travel to Bali

This was first time I have used RAC travel insurance - sadly had to cancel due to Coronavirus outbreak. We considered the comprehensive insurance good value for us seniors. I had to speak to staff twice each time with questions they were so helpful. When I phoned to cancel it was done in seconds ! I will certainly be using RAC Travel insurance when we can next fly.

Easy to contact, issue dealt with and action within 24 hours, in the midst of this horrible pandemic, thank you impressive, wish I could cancel my air fair as easily.

on paper, policy looked comprehensive and corresponded to what we needed. Staff on the phone very pofessional, friendly and helpful. However, had to cancel insurance before we could experience our travel.
I would certainly take it up again on future travels.

In view of Corona Virus we are unable to travel overseas on 1.4.20 and we used the 21 day cooling off period to cancel our travel insurance. Hopefully we will be in a position to re=book in September this year! Staff at RAC were very sympathetic and helpful in our decision

Good value, how’ve the true test is when you need to make a claim. That is he you know if the company is great. I have had claims on policies ie: vehicle and personal ..RAC have been very good. I choose you because you are local. However, I do think all companies should be doing more in light of this Coronavirus, I feel this is an area where they all let themselves down. Or charge an additional premium for cover. I would be happy to have that choice.

Only reason I took out this policy I thought it was local.. But need to deal with the underwriter..

RAC's agents responded very quickly to my request to cancel my policy owing to the cancellation of our cruise from Fremantle to Singapore on the Majestic Princess which was to sail on 22nd February.

Very prompt and efficient service to my request for refund owing to the cancellation of our cruise due to the current Coronavirus situation. The response from RAC travel was prompt and efficient.

Had taken out a single trip policy but circumstances changed and with help from the very helpful consultant at RAC Cannington I was able to cancel single trip policy and take out a annual multi trip policy. Very helpful and obliging.

Have compared a few others and found your policy to be great value. Fortunately have never had to lodge a claim. Have probably used your insurance company 3 times now.
