Bought an urban+ ebike, absolutely sensational value for money and built like a rock. Had a great experience with customer service too after there was an issue with some saddlebags I bought as well. Only recommendation would be to pick the bikes up in person if possible, the at-home assembly was a bit of a pain and took pretty much a full afternoon. Since I got it together, the bike has been absolutely sublime.
Bike is not too bad for a cheapie but I initially didn't receive the battery and had to get it sent separately. The bolts on the handlebar got rusty after 2 weeks and the brakes are very squeaky. Tried to book in for a service but they said my 'local' service centre is in Melbourne! Not worth taking my bike on a 2 day trip just for a free service. Can't get the $160 worth of services that were included with the bike refunded so have to cough up at a shop down here. Person I spoke to on the phone was condescending to cap it off. Would not recommend unless you have time to fix your own bike
Web site was easy to use and make purchase. There is enough information on the product you are buying to make an informed decision on your purchase. Delivery was fast and freight contractor was very helpful and friendly. Good quality bike, easy to assemble, googled how to tune the gears and bike is great and getting used daily. Will purchase from this company again.
Needed a different handlebar stem to accommodate a front-mount baby seat. I called Customer Support, and the person knew exactly which bike I was repairing after only a few words. She recommended the new stem, and in minutes, it was ordered and dispatched. True professionalism! Better yet, it was easy to install and baby seat is now attached. Thank you for a smooth transaction!

Great looking bike, rides nicely on road and dirt tracks. Brakes squeak bit, but overall very happy with my purchase.

Online store was great and post purchase service was excellent.
Overall I'm very pleased with the bicycle. I ride approximately 30-70 kms on a good week. The bike handles really well and gives me comfort that it's reliable. However, when going uphill on a high gear (or medium), the bike (around the pedals) starts to make a clanking noise. Not sure it's suppose to do that.
Bough my second Reid MTB for my daughter. If your looking for mid range good value hardtail these hit the spot. BUT spend the extra over the sport model and get the Pro. Good Brand name running gear without the price. Easy to assemble for anyone with avg mech ability. Note cables stretch beyond range of quick adjust after a few rides. Forks can be a bit clunky but easy fixed with some extra grease.

Stoked with the Argon MTB. I've owned other hardtail mountain bikes that cost more but were nowhere near as fun to ride as this. Richie at the store was tops. 5 stars.

I'm a little embarrassed at how many times I've upgraded bikes in the last 3 months. I bought a crappy Kmart bike. That lasted a week. Then I bought a REID Rapid for $250. That lasted a week. But I wasn't put off from Reid Cycles. They have very affordable and high quality bikes at good price points. Like anything, is that you get what you pay for. But Reid really makes affordability a big part of their product line, so I upgraded to the Urban X0 for $500. One sits in front of me, and one on cushioned seat mount on the bike rack behind me. It's a heavy load and the hills I live nearby are seriously difficult even without two kids. So after a month of trying to make the Reid X0 work, I gave up and sprung for the eBike. I got the eBike Urban+ on sale at $2,300 AUD. It's been 2 weeks so far and it's my first eBike with pedal assist. I love it, love it, love it. I'm having so much fun not only getting places faster and easier but also giving my two kids a joy ride just about every day it doesn't rain. Great comfort with the addition of a handlebar stem raiser and bigger ergonomic grips. It's a perfect combination of road bike speed and durability for the Yarra River Trail. I didn't buy the . Great Bike, Great Service, Reid Granite 2.0 is an awesome value for money bike
Recent experiences of a loose front derailleur that rotated and jammed the transmission snapping the chain and breaking the rear derailleur and loose spokes in the rear wheel that has put a buckle into the wheel has changed my positive view of the bike.
The first problem could have caused a bad crash. Reid fixed the first problem under warranty. We haven't taken the bike back for the second problem.
I've had cheaper bikes with zero problems so these things are not excused by the good value for money these bikes represent.

Reid does not include in the box essential information about assembling and adjusting gears.
I bought a bike and on my second time riding it, the rear derailleur got tangled in the chain and went into the turning wheel, damaging the derailleur.
Phoned customer support and spoke to [Name Removed], who asked for images. I emailed them the image and they got back to me explaining what happened (which I already knew, as I was riding the bike when it happened), and that they were happy to quote for the replacement parts!

Spoke to manager over the phone who was slightly argumentative and she spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner. Bike came damaged, replacement parts were sent and $30 refund offered (for wheel balancing) which is fair. However communication wise...emails regularly went unanswered for weeks, follow up emails also unanswered but suddenly answered I finally cc'd in [Name Removed] the owner. Apparently my previous emails went to spam folder...maybe, maybe not. Bad experience. This was my 3rd bike from Reid but the last one for sure.

Very poor quality materials, still trying to organize repair but cannot reach store on telephone. Bike is only 6 months old and has been used 3-4 times. Strangely in these COVID times, I have been told I am unable to ‘book’ a time for repair/ service and the store is only taking walk-ins. Not optimistic and daughter is deeply disappointed.

I bought a bike 6 weeks ago and as they suggested wanted to get my first service done. Tried to ring the Melbourne store (14 times) and they never bothered Picking up the phone. When I emailed they mentioned it’s a walk-in service and bring the bike anytime between Mon-Thu.

I bought a bike online, made a mess of things with the expected timing of delivery. I phoned up the WA store where Pascal not only changed the colour of my order (thanks for making it so easy), he put my vintage bicycle together and I had it in my hands days earlier than expected. This is actually the third time I’ve bought from Reid Cycles... I gave away my first bike due to moving, the second was a Mother’s Day present for my Mum and lucky number three is for me of course! Seven years between my first and last bike... I’d happily recommend Reid Cycles (the Perth store in particular)!

I ordered a Viper 24" bike for my daughter and I have received the bike late last week. A few days late which is understandable under current pandemic circumstances.
Upon my first inspection of the bike prior to assembly, the received bike does not come with a front derailleur which is not as described in the pictures of the bike on Reid cycles website:

I have ordered two bikes online and after a long delay got an email saying my model is not available and suggesting me to upgrade to a higher model. I agreed and paid for it. Again got emails for delays in transit and finally got a sms to collect my bikes. When I visited the store, one bike was not arrived. Again contacted the customer service but no use. Store Rep confirmed they never received my bike.It is a waste of time, and seeking a refund now. It almost took 50 days and didn't have a positive outcome. I should have listened to the previous feedbacks here and not used their service.
Started off well, guys were good to deal with, bought bike in Feb 2020 granite 1.0. But! I use my bike to commute into work, (which i said at the start) and since then the crank has come apart, various wheel spokes breaking. I've taken the bike back 3 times. I attempted to repair the crank myself but it was on there so tight it pulled the thread out. So the guys said they could have a look and try, but mentioned they didn't have all the tools required in the shop and had to source a "hammer" from home to pull the old crank off. Read moree crank nut had come apart/loose and they tightened this up and repaired after a week in the shop. But again another spoke has broken and the wheel is unrideable. I phone them to see if i can drop it in, (only just in there week before with broken crank, the guy said he knows who i am) they tell me it could take 1 to 2 weeks to fix,(american guy) for one spoke. Before repairs were not a problem and would get it back within 2 days. Then another spoke snapped and the wheel was badly buckled. I turn up on friday at closing time at 5:30. The door was locked all lights were on and the guys were standing inside. They saw me at the door, looked at each other and walked out into the workshop out of view until i left. Yep i get it, it was closing time, previous times when dropping off bike takes two seconds, they already had my details, just left the bike with them. Since then I have written to the warranty guys at Reid, [name eremoved], who was prompt to get back to me. But after two weeks of waiting to hear back about my request to have the bike refunded because it's not safe, (the crank is becoming loose again)I got an answer. (Note:***PLEASE read the warranty fine print***) Spokes are a consumable item and they don't have to replace these if they break, so thanks guys for doing this. They will not refund me and that the crank coming loose is part of maintenance and I should take the bike back to get checked at there shop and then sell it.....I asked if there was another shop to take this too,(don't quite trust the Gabba guys, especially if there repairs keep breaking) they said no, its the Gabba shop or nothing........Ive learnt my lesson, you get what you pay for ($600 bike only last six months)and dont buy or deal with this shop.Bought this bike online. Goods arrived a few days later. All in good order. I'm pretty hands on bike person, but by no means a pro bike mechanic. I needed to adjust the disc brakes/calibers in the back it was making noise as you pedal because the brake pad is rubbing against the disc. If you YouTube around you'll find ways to adjust the disc pads so it doesn't rub against it. Apart from this, shifting is smooth. Remember to lube your chain too. Most of this would have been done if you buy the bike in the shop.

I bought a bicycle from Reid Cycles. In the year I've owned it, it's continually had problems. From vibrating pedals to grinding sounds in the drive train. So far they've admitted that they assembled the bicycle incorrectly which caused the vibrating pedals. For the grinding sound when pedalling, they've said that the grease inside the drive train has disappeared which has caused the drive train to rust away internally. So far I've made 4 warranty claims yet still have problem after problem. I'm now going to the Department of Consumer Protection and the ACCC to get this sorted. It's been a huge pain and a massive annoyance. I just wish I had a bike that worked.
