Doesn't stand the test of time.
It heats up quickly but snags hair a fair bit. Iv actually gone through two. The first one MELTED near the plates. but at the price replacing it didn't bother me.

Great affordable straightener!
I really like this straightener.
It has an on/off switch, heat dial, swivel cord and a lock to close the plates.
It gives a nice finish to keep hair flat & looking a lot more polished.
Compared to a GHD or alike, it doesn't give that crisp straight finish yet compared to an InStyler which gives a very very natural looking straighten, this product is in the middle sitting more towards the GHD side of things.
Definitely worth trying if you don't straighten your hair every day or are on a budget!

Cheap and does the job!
I was looking for a good hairstraightener for a reasonable price and was advised by my honest hairdresser that a ceramic one for less than $50 should do the trick. So I found this for $30. I get a trusted brand, ceramic, easy to use, lightweight and heats fast. What more could you want? I even bought one for my mum.

Good, worth the money
Bought this on sale at Good Guys (they price matched Priceline's sale). Feels solid but not too heavy in the hand. Full ceramic plates which are a bonus at this price point. Temp control is nice feature. Slides well through hair, doesn't catch or feel like it's pulling. Very happy and great for the price!

Plates aren't intact.
This straightener is not really parallel. There is a gap in between the plate in such a way that the the far end meets first thus the plates are not intact at the same time when closed. You have to press it hard so that it is intact everywhere but that's not convenient and also there is not even pull everywhere for the hairs.

Great low priced straightener, works!
This is a really nice standard straightener. It heats up quick enough, doesn't get too hot. I have fairly straight hair and don't need anything fancy. This straightener does the job and I've used it to make some nice curls as well.
Five stars for the price.

Ok for the price
Very cheap straightener. I have thick curly hair so this straightened it but not as good as a quality straightener like GHD. Good for the price though. Very light weight & easy to use.

Budget friendly straightener that will get the job done.
Quick to heat up, and for the price, it isn't bad.
Light weight and easy to use, the thin design makes it good to use for curling hair.
After use I find it gets my hair fairly straight with just one or two passes over, but my hair is not smooth like most ceramic straighteners leave it.
I have not experienced my hair snagging, which is a bonus in a straightener of this price and it also has a decent length cord.

Not bad, not great
It's light weight and quick to heat up. It's doesn't do an amazing job but for the price, it is as good as it gets. I would however, spend a little bit more next time and get a model at the higher end.

Very good for this price
It heats up very quickly and its easy to use. For this amount of money its a very good straigthener so nothing to complian about. I would most probably pay a bit more to get a better one, but still I like it!

An ok straightener.
This straightener has a cheap price & I couldn't expect miracles because of that. It does the job but I feel it doesn't give you a smooth hair, so I normally use it to curly my hair instead of straightening it.

Gets 5 Stars for that price
Easy to use, heats up quickly and a good range of heat. My hair is thick and doesn't hold curls/straightening very well unless the heat is high enough, this straightener not only straightens it, it does leave it smooth. The ends can become a little dry if used on highest heat but nothing hair oil can't smooth over.
I use between the 20-25 setting and it's perfect for me and my straightening/curl last until my next wash (which I don't usually get with the other brands I've tried - comparing those within the same price range).
