    Not to bad but

I like this mower it just has a few design problem.
It is nice to operate simple in design easy to start and use for my wife. Problems I find is the vibration that travels right through the mower when you engage blades if this never happened I'm sure the other little problem no normal person would care about. In saying that I do the steering linkage had no knuckle only a cheap split pin the petrol tank is zip tied on and the plastic ignition will break fast I'm sure moves around heaps when starting. The frame is very thin so please dont push on it as it will bend and dent before you go close to moving the mower

Trouble with vibration through floor plate

Had high hopes that it would be a good replacement for our MTD 38" ride on but excessive vibration even when blades not engaged have dented my enthusiasm. Currently back at dealership but they seem unable to fix it. Perhaps mounting bolts need rubber cushioning or motor not assembled correctly. Here's hoping there is a fix.

Hi I used the Rancher before and can cut backward & foward easily.

Just changed to this model, and realise that it can't do backward or reverse cutting?
Is this possible to do so, am new to it.

Yes once you have this model going foot on clutch and taken out of park you can turn the key back half a click into the middle position then you press the little triangle button above the key a orange light will come on. This allows you to mow backwardsl. This is a safety feature to stop you reveasing over people haha anyway this needs to be done every time you use parkbrake but if your like me you can do your whole lawn without stopping. hope this helps took ages for me to work it out haha had to read the manual in the end

Seems I have a fuel issue, goes for about 40 minutes then stops, let sit for 5 minutes goes again for ten minutes, and so on, seems the hotter it gets the worse it gets any ideas?
have flushed fuel out, its possiable the needle is sticking, had to unblock it with a paper clip, went well for 40 minutes then back to the same problem.

I had the same problem, and tried every solution I could think of including cleaning out the carb w/ carb cleaner. In the end had to take it to the dealer for a full service, which has fixed the problem (so far). Again, disappointed with the Rover, but very happy w/ the service from the Stihl shop.
