Worst Food Processor
Noisy like a jackhammer and it moves across the bench from the vibration. The big bowl does not work and won't fit onto the machine as the piece connecting it is jammed and won't come out, so can only use the small bowl. My old machine different brand had for years never had a problem. The Russell Hobbs will be going into the bin and will look for something better and quieter.

How did I manage before I had this
One of the most useful kitchen items I have ever bought, it works smoothly and without the usual high pitched whine of other processors. It works equally well with smoothies as it does with processing raw vegetables, I would not like to lose this my finest cooking aid. This is a five-star product that I would recommend to all of my friends.
Purchased in March 2021.

Very happy with this product
I have owned this processor for two years and have never had any problems with it. I find it easy to put together and dismantle. It has great safety features and suctions to the bench which is useful. Has two sized mixing bowls which is great. Easiest to clean in the dishwasher than wash by hand. Would recommend it.

The best!
This is a great processor that assists with my home baking in the simplest way. From apple pie to grated up vegies this processor helps me in the kitchen saving me time. As a busy mother I have found this to be a great time saver in my kitchen. The attachments are so easy to use and cleaning is as simple as a quick rinse. Great value for money.

Bad design
At Christmas 2015 had to purchase a new processor, and bought the Russell Hobbs as on sight it looked good value, BUT, not good. NOISY, need ear plugs, and only chops stuff on the bottom of the bowl, even just biscuits, had to pulse, and shake the bowl. The blades are straight, and don't toss the contents to circulate bottom to top. These guys need to test these appliances before manufacture, then they would see the failures. Don't wast your money on these. Took it back for credit. Not fit for purpose.

Still going strong
On September 12, 2012 I wrote a great review on the RHFP600 and later there was a bombardment of disappointed customer reviews on theirs. Well it is now January 2016 and my little machine is still going strong. I've used it so many times. The Centre Post has a small crack in it and after reading the horror reviews on here of how expensive the spare parts are and how unhelpful the Russell Hobbs customer care and service is I thought it would be best to get a new one rather than go to the expense and stress of getting a replacement part. I did ...Read more
this and have now ordered a Bosch and am waiting on delivery. In the meantime out of curiosity I called RH service and spare parts and they couldn't be more helpful. They are posting out my Centre Post for the princely sum of $10 plus $7.50 postage. If I had only stopped and thought about it beforehand I wouldn't have the Bosch on its way, I would have just stuck to the RH. I still think its an excellent machine and will keep it on hand incase my Bosch disappoints. If it doesn't I'll be passing the RH on to my daughter for her to have the pleasure of using it. I'm glad I didn't chuck it because of bad reviews.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Absolute rubbish - wish I had read the reviews before I bought it
Have returned it to Big W. having wasted 2 hours trying to assemble it. Very poor instructions. Fortunately Big W didn't hesitate to refund the money.

JUST AWFUL!
Everything about this food processor is awful. It won't even chop carrots. I hardly use it because it is just SO useless. I used to use our old one twice a week. This spends weeks at a time in the cupboard until I forget how bad it is. Then when I use it I end up frustrated and angry all over again. Really hate the locking feature it takes ages to get it right. Shame on you who sell this junk.

WARNING do not buy
Do not bother with this product!
It was so loud that I couldn't stand next to it, the 2l bowl wouldn't not chop up my kataifi dough but the small one could. It would not chop tomato, it would just make them into soup, bad smell when it is on! The buttons work and silver finish are of very poor quality .Anyway, I took back the next day and the Bankstown Store Manager said he won't refund, he will send to assessment centre to determine if it doesn't do it's job. Long story short -after I told him it's my right to return a product that does not do what it claims to do and go read the reviews, he refunded my money. Very bad product! Don't waste your time or money!
Nothing it should not be for sale

Horribly noisy.
I bought this on special at my local shop as it was almost half price, when I got home and decided to use it, I was astounded at how noisy it was. Much to noisy to use where I live (In a block of units).
I would not recommend this to anyone.
Inexpensive
Extremely noisy

great value for money
I researched quite a few food processors and realised that they all have good and bad points. I was looking for something mid range that could cope with regular use. I also wanted a package that included a smaller bowl for nuts and herbs (many of the 2L bowls don't handle small amounts very well). I was not interested in commercial based cooking quantities, just, salads, veggies, nuts, and a bit of whipping. This processor is great for these types of things. Carrots and onions slice really well and nuts are crushed finely using the smaller bo...Read more
wl. I am not too sure how long most people use food processors for at a time, but I managed to do a reasonable amount of 'processing' in about 5 minutes. I must admit, it is a bit noisy, but this machine is so fast, that you can't possibly need to use it for more than a few minutes. I paid $98 from BigW and compared to the more expensive models, it really does all I need it to do. cheap, value for money, 2 sized bowls included, fast processing. a little noisy, but the speed outweighs this.2 comments

I can't get my food processor to switch on. It is locked into the correct place but the base of the bowl doesn't seem to reach the small black power button on the base. If I press it manually it works. This has been happening since the day I got it. Just can't get it to work.

If you have the receipt I would return it, it’s rubbish cut ya losses an get rid of it. The one I had would work one day but not the next. I know this doesn’t help but good luck.
I tried the smaller bowl and that worked fine. It's the long black lead in the handle that is the problem. It doesn't go down far enough into the handle which pushes the little round black knob into the slot on the base which turns it on. I tried to fix it but just won't work. I don't have my receipt and my warranty would have run out by now. I have hardly used it and now that I want to it's useless. Oh well, cut my losses as you say I guess. Thanks.

I’m not sure why I can’t get out food processor into place ... it’s locked in yet isn’t working.
This has been an ongoing problem since I received this as a house warming gift about 3-4 years ago so haven’t tried to tackle the problem. I’m now wanting to start using the food processor to make açai bowls so would be truly grateful if you can provide some troubleshooting advice.
