Two failed models. Not impressed!
I was given my first food processor as a gift, and in the beginning it worked a charm. However, recently it just stopped working. Like that, no rusted blades, no lock wrongs, nothing. Just stopped.
I bought a brand new one of the same model yesterday, and this morning went to use it. Nothing. It didn't work.
Luckily I have the docket from Big W still. Not [censored word removed] happy. By the looks of things, this product should be recalled.

Discusted with Russel Hobbs.. They have no care about the reviews people are posting! Sunbeam on the
Same as most of the comments prior. Xmas gift from my partner, at least the salt n pepper shakers still work!!! Poor quality, poor service. Used 1/2 dozen times and the motor part on the main unit BROKE!!!! Wake up and look after your customers. I will NOT be recommending this brand to Anyone I Know. Shame on you Russell Hobbs, should have had a product recall! Maybe I'll call consumer affairs on this one and see if anything can be done. Thanks for nothing

Load of high priced junk
broke down after only using twice to make bread crumbs, Repairers won't look at it because they can't get parts here in Tasmania and as I cannot find the receipt I am left with a heap of junk and very expensive bread crumbs. Oh yeah, I did get a free set of salt/pepper shakers with it, so I guess that lowers the price of the bread crumbs

Didn't last
Bought this from Target on sale for $150 and got a free set of salt n pepper shakers with it. Wish I'd gone for the cheaper sunbeam processor as this lasted mad 1.5 years and I used it approx 20 times. Not built to last. Very disappointed I'll have to buy another processor

Terrible after sale service
Having just read other reviews, yes my machine is noisy and does not blend well, spindle got lost and many attempts to find a replacement have failed, this making the mahine far less useful. I am dissappointed as bought from a reputable store and will never go back again for small appliances,

Useless Cheap Rubbish. Can't describe my disgust adequately
This thing, like most household appliances, trumpets its power rating and shiny brushed metal and blue lights image. And the motor is fine. No complaints there. But the build quality and materials use is absolutely atrocious. Like most of the reviews here, we had the transfer hub for the blender attachment strip out almost immediately. Now as best I can tell there are no spares, and even if there were, replacing a cheap, badly designed part with another cheap badly designed part is pointless.
I will never buy any other Russell Hobbs product unless I can essentially ensure it's constructed with even a modicum of design sensibility. Total useless garbage for a throw away society.
Cheap construction, poor materials, planned obsolescence

Bad
The blender stopped working. The blender drive is actually geared up from the motor. No surprises when the plastic rubbish cog strips out. If you have one, make sure you keep the docket handy for returns, don't blend anything harder than a banana and for goodness sakes don't assemble the jug incorrectly as the nut will strip out if the blades are too high because the washer is in the wrong place. The food processor requires the chute/plunger attached to the lid and then the lid attached to the bowl, wont work otherwise.
Very poor design on the motor base. Overly complex motor safety for the food processor..
