Great crispbread
Not sure how I navigated here but was a bit shocked at the number of reviews referring to the packaging. Don’t worry I get the point that individually wrapped packs create more plastic waste...but would have to say that in a single person household it keeps my crispbreads crisp for longer.... However I love my ryvitas - the product. I love that they have simple ingredients and no nasty additives - e.g. original ryvitas have 2 ingredients - whole rye flour, salt and presumably a bit of water to mix. I love that they are so simple, taste great,...Read more
and are a crunchy base for any savoury or sweet snack I can dream up - my current fave being cottage cheese, banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Ok...have had my say and am off to look for other yummy toppings!

More waste, less crackers
Ridiculous, they are smaller and wrapped in packs of four. We got less crackers and more waste. Wrong but then again

packaging
Please please get rid of annoying separate packaging. Can't see the benefit. Friends agree. Love Ryvitas just as they were.

Not just the packaging, the recipe has changed.
So disappointed with Ryvita. This used to be my favourite cracker, and we used a lot of them. The new recipe is thinner, drier, breaks more easily, taste more like cardboard. The seeds all fall off, with half of them left in the stupid, wasteful plastic packet.
Please Ryvita, listen to your customers. Bring back the old cracker !

Very upset about Ryvita packaging
Ryvita have been my favourite cracker for past 30 years. Could not believe that they are now wrapped in packets of 4. What us the point? Wasteful and unnecessary packaging plus they break when packets are opened. A previously perfect product has been ruined. Cannot understand why new packaging was introduced. They also taste stale. Don't want to buy them anymore. Please revert to previous packaging format. Jo

Very disappointed in Ryvita new packaging
I have just bought my first box of Ryvita in the new packaging of four, and am very much in agreement with all the other reviews that this is a waste of resources. I always ate two of the original Ryvita for lunch, so are four smaller ones equivalent to two? This is one of a number of product packaging changes that has really annoyed me. Why do manufacturers think they always need to change things?

Extra packaging is irresponsible and pointless
Who in their right mind brought this nonsense to market?? The extra plastic used to wrap 4 slices isn't only environmentally irresponsible obviously, it's also pretty useless. I don't eat exactly 4 slices in one sitting, and I'd guess most people don't. So the remainder goes stale unless you pack it in more plastic. Also, opening the package, the slices break, and the seeds come off and end up everywhere. I am annoyed enough to stop buying. Please be customer centric and a better corporate citizen and discontinue the extra packaging.

Why the small packs?
Ryvita are catering to those too lazy to store their biscuits in an airtight container by wrapping biscuits in lots of four. I stopped buying another brand of biscuit when they started this nonsense. We have a planet drowning in plastic waste and this is not helping. Come on Ryvita, get with the program.

Used to be five star before individual packs
I cant believe you have spoilt a good product by putting them in individual packs. I am talking about the multigrain. The only one to eat. All the seeds end up being in the plastic. The biscuits more often than not a broken at the edges and sometimes only three and a half biscuits in pack instead of four. Please help save the environment and go back to the original packaging that has worked for years.

Why, though?
It's rather presumptuous, don't you think, of Ryvita to assume I wish to have exactly four multigrain Ryvita's per sitting? If I do, I eat more than I should. If I don't, I am left with two soft and stale ones left to attempt to enjoy the next time I want a peanut butter/cracker snack. So, naturally, I am pressured into eating all four at once, therefore meaning I get through the packet twice as quickly and am purchasing another much soon- ... Oh. I see why they did that now.

Stale and wasteful
I have been buying Multigrain Ryvita for as long as I remember. The biscuits in the old packaging were crisp and tasty. The new packing has resulted in stale biscuits and an environmental disaster with the extra packaging. I will not buy them again unless they go back to the original recipe and packaging. What a waste of a good product!

Ryvita multigrain mistake.
Dislike the new packaging, would never feel the need to grab and go with 4. Have opened 2 packets with inner wrap torn rendering all 4 stale and inedible. Will not be buying the product again.

Terrible overuse of packaging
I have been buying Ryvita for many years. Until you change the new wasteful idea of over zealous packaging I will not be buying them again. I can also see that I am not alone in this. Please return to the old packaging. I would open the packet and transfer them to my reusable container, no extra layers needed. Take heed of your ex-customers and the needs of the planet.

Very disappointed
Was very unhappy to find Ryvita Multigrain now comes wrapped in packets of 4. Unsure why 4, but I am sure that the extra packaging is a waste of resources. The taste and texture has changed significantly too. It’s now like eating sheets of chewy, over processed cardboard. I won’t be buying it any more although I’ve been a loyal customer all my adult life.

Upset with the new packaging
The new "grab and go" packs have plastic wrappers around every four biscuits within a box. This is a horribly wasteful use of unrecyclable plastic, and at a time when the world is trying to reduce plastic-use because of the environmental damage it causes. I can't in good conscience continue to buy this product. It's also inconvenient to unwrap, there are more broken biscuits, and all the seeds fall off into the silly little plastic packets.

Making more profit can be the only reason...
Why would a company change a successful recipe and efficient packaging (better environmentally one would surmise), if it wasn't simply profit driven? These new biscuits are thinner, less flavorsome and reminiscent of cardboard. After years of purchasing them they are now off the menu. Stupid decision by the company.

I am very disappointed with this product. Very messy on the plate. "Now individualy wrapped in grab and go plastic bags ..."
Are you kidding?
I will not buy any more multigrain or any other Ryvita wrapped in individual plasic bag.
