I first bought the salin plus after seeing a segment on A Current Affair with raving reviews. I am thrilled with the health benefits including helping me breathe easier at night especially when I have asthma, hay fever, the flu and recently when I got the house inside painted. I have also purchased a second salin plus for my daughter's room and we both use them everynight and our family are much healthier because of this amazing product. I just note on the calendar 4 months in advance as a reminder to change the filter.

I purchased the Salin Plus as I have a dust mite allergy and snore as a result. I had been using a snoring app to monitor my snoring and sleep quality. I have copd Used it for 2 months made no difference whatsoever apart from pushing up my electric bill. The cost of buying replacement filters has spiralled by about 64% since I bought it typical example of taking advantage over vulnerable people. I would strongly recommend talking to your GP before wasting money on this.

we bought our son the small one but today it is leaking water and wont work when plugged in?
is there anything we can do as this is the second one we replaced so im not too happy. he only ever uses it at night, can we dry it out

At best, it did not do as promised. At worst, it caused me health complications. My Pulmonologist said it was dangerous and said he could not recommend using Salin Plus. When I tried to return it, they made one excuse after another. They did not honor their Try it for 60 Days 100% Risk Free Guarantee. After dealing firsthand with Lion Healthcare, I believe they are taking advantage of the sick by making big promises to desperate people and not honoring their promises.

We love our Saliin Plus, it has been wonderful for my partners snoring and congestion.
We have recently replaced the filter and since then we are experiencing a lot of water leaking from the machine.
Is this normal? Hasn't happened before. Will this leaking harm the machine?
Does this mean the salt will be less effective and we need to buy another filter sooner?

I have the smaller bedroom device and it has been really helpful clearing up nasal congestion allowing easier breathing and a better night sleep and is helping slightly to ease the constant scabs up my nose, but at the moment still waking up with sinus pain/pressure, sore throat and dry eye-which seems to be worse when I use the device. Will persist though and try ear candling as well to try and ease the pain without having to use antihistamines everyday. Also, the device would be better if it had an on/off switch on it as often power points in the bedroom are under beds or behind bedside tables, so its a nuisance having to turn it on and off at the power point all the time.

This has somewhat helped my now 5 month old son with his congestion but as we share a room for me it's done nothing but give me a dry sore throat and make me cough a lot! I can't use it so it has been a waste of money for me! I have tried to persevere with it cause of the fantastic reviews but it has failed me :-( My teenager who suffers bad allergies also said it did nothing for him! So now stuck with an expensive machine I can't use :-(

I loved my machine so much that I've just bought another one. Unfortunately the first one stopped working after only a year of use but I'm prepared to purchase another because the benefits are so good. My lifelong sinus infections stopped and my husband doesn't snore. My daughter also has one and can't sleep without it.

I have had a Salin Plus salt machine for two years it's fantastic for easing asthma, also marvellous relief during cold or flu attacks easing coughing and helps with sleep. A side affect is that it stops snoring.
Fantastic product can't manage without it. It's like sleeping on a beach in the comfort of your own bed.

This unit has certainly helped me, especially with breathing at night and getting a fairly good night's sleep, the only problem so far is that it reacts with our high humidity and leaks dissolved salts everywhere. Must put the unit in a shallow container to collect the overflow. Hope this helps, Patricia.
