Don't buy Samsung!
I bought a Samsung washing machine 6 months ago, its rubber seal broken.
Company said its my fault and no warranty.
washing machine rubber seal flimsy as hell, they put the blame on you.
communication zero, I had to go after them just for a reply but no good outcome.
never again Samsung!

Unresponsive customer support
Very unhappy with Samsung's nonexistent customer support. Their phone lines have been shut down (understandably due to Covid-19). They do have live chat support but the staff are not very helpful as they do not have any power or ability to look in to the specifics of an order. I've had multiple tries on live chat but staff keep telling me to send an e-mail to a customer service e-mail address. I contacted Samsung via the customer support e-mail address and 7 days later I am still waiting for a response from Samsung.
To Samsung customer support, please get in touch with me directly, my order number is: AU200411-52014434 (order placed on 11 April), I am still awaiting a refund.

Purchased black ear buds from Samsung online for over a week now I’ve been trying to organise a return for the item as it was a present and apparently the wrong ones!

What a disgrace this customer service
I would've left 0 starts if I could've. Recently our Samsung washing machine purchased less than 2 years ago stopped working, so I contacted online chat to report an issue and ask for a warranty repair/replacement. It took 1 week to get the technician from service center (local contracted service provider) to just check the unit, then another week to get the repair job, which had to get motor replaced. uddenly turned itself off and won't turn it on again at all. I contacted the service center, they said to contact Samsung support again to get a new case / job. I contacted Samsung support and requested a case escalation. They replied their case manager need to get the job report which only uploaded by service center after technician visit. At this point I am already at 2 weeks without washing machine and have been doing laundry by hand all these times. Basically no progress whatsoever, and their service technician is beyond qualified. msung I have been in, book a repair via Aus post but can't get passed cost of repairs it says, an error occurred while checking the repair cost, so many times.I don't have messenger.com sorry, so that's it, I'm guessing no help now haven't had a message for quite awhile.

Awful knowledge of their products, advice & service.
I have had my Samsung Galaxy for over a year. Decided to look into wireless earbuds. Contacted Samsung to see if theirs also worked with Windows 10 due to lack of information on their site. I was told I could purchase them & try & was referred to another site to see specifications. I wrote back saying I don't understand you are tech support are you not? Why can't you check the site & properly advise your customer? Then I received 3 emails saying my email couldn't be delivered. Terrible service! Found some elsewhere much cheaper. Never going back to Samsung for additional products!

The breakdown of communication is unbelievable
The store seems good. However modes of correspondence have not been updated.
Been contacting Samsung continuously for more than 3 weeks to return a product, and getting vague /incorrect/ different replies. I finally managed to send the product to them. On 22/4/2020.
Now I am awaiting a refund once the product reaches them.
At the same time I have filed a complaint with the consumer forum in Victoria.
And am awaiting legal advice so I can see my options to sue for stress.

Just types whatever it wants, will sometimes just add a whole word you didnt even try to type.
Extremely slow and unresponsive.

Absolutely hate Samsung. I changed from an IPhone and regret the day i did. Have to pay $1000 to get out of my contract after enquiring the 2nd day i bought it. Loathe using it every day and as soon as my contract expires i will be only too pleased to get rid of this Samsung!!!!

Very poor customer service
I placed pre-order for Samsung 20 ultra 512 GB on 29/02/2020 for delivery on 26/03/2020 but I cancelled the order 09/03/2020 because I lost my job, Samsung issued me with credit note on 16/03/2020 and that's it no money refunded and no way to contact them only email which I sent with only promise that they will pass it to the management and nothing happening, the order price is $3147.00.I never dealt with Samsung before this is my first and last time. Please keep away from this scam company, it's taking your money with zero customer"s service.

Overpromise and underdeliver
After using Apple products for more than 10 years, my husband and I decided to try out Samsung's S20 ultra so we pre-ordered 2 from the Melbourne Central store. We were told during the "pre-order" phase that we could get the phones for 20% of student discount and free battery packs. The representative was extremely "encouraging" and said that all we needed to do was put down $300 deposit for each phone. d-19, but when we were about to make payment, we were told that the "battery pack" offer was no longer valid because we did not make payment of the full amount during the "pre-order" phase. BUT we were NOT told during the "pre-order" phase that we needed to pay the full amount to secure the offer - we would have been happy to buy the phones with just the 20% discount but if you said you were going to give us battery packs and don't, that's misrepresentation! We paid the deposit and there is consideration to seal the contract! We were also told that we will be getting our phones on 31 March but it has not arrived to date! seriously, don't overpromise and underdeliver, it's not cool! Premium price, defective product, non-existent warranty service
We purchased the 65" Samsung Frame TV 11 months ago, we were previously big Samsung fans as we also had the 55" frame TV and the premium internet fridge amongst many other things.
We don't mind paying the premium prices as long as the quality of product and service reflect the price, sadly I can now confirm it does not. Samsun falls short on both counts, by some distance.

ady on the online chat wasn't that helpful but insisted we provide a copy of our receipt and all we would need to do was return to the chat, provide the receipt, and if under 1 year the technician service call would be booked in. After 2 days of looking, we found the receipt and returned to the chat as requested, this is when are suspicions were confirmed and [name removed] the chat agent started to deflect. There was no apology about the defective product, no urgency, no response for minutes at a time, a refusal to respond to basic questions (how can I send you this proof of purchase asked over 5 times), and a refusal to book in a technician despite multiple requests.1 comment

Constantly breaking down
Purchased a 10kg front load ecobubble washing machine October 2012. 7.5 years later it's broken down for the 4th time. Last time 18 months ago, out of warranty, Samsung sent out someone to fix it with no cost. Samsung warranty
3 year old, 70inch Series 6 TV, that developed a fault with a fine blue vertical line in the center of the screen. Despite being 2 years out of warranty, Samsung replaced the entire screen within a week, at my home at no cost. Excellent customer service by Samsung.

Brand new TV not repaired
My brand new tv has broken down
Instead of replacing they offered a repair which can not be done since on the day of the repair they have called me that there are no parts available for my tv
It has been 3 weeks now with no tv

AC unit - poor quality and terrible customer service
I purchased 3 Samsung AC units in 2015 because they had wifi connectivity and hence could be controlled remotely. I wish I hadnt.
The first one broke in 2017 and it took Samsung 3 months via their single service agent to actually repair it.
The second one stopped working in October 2022. We live in Townsville hence AC isnt just a nice to have its essential.

talled them and stated that the unit was repaired. It failed again the next day. After yet more wasted time going through the agent and Samsung they stated this was a different fault! and would fix it. More parts and mucking around and the repair failed again. Eventually after a very protracted battle with the repair agent and Samsung and another attempt to fix I said enough was enough and under the ACL I wanted a replacement. Samsung then informed me that they do not have a wifi enabled unit anymore so I would have to accept a lower specced unit or take a refund (not including the installation costs!) I told them I needed a unit and wasnt prepared to wear the costs and they eventually agreed to do this. However, Ive had no follow up for nearly a month and given the current COVID19 situation I very much doubt Samsung are going to do anything. Aside from the AC not working which is now even more of a problem as we are working from home, Samsung as simply dishonest in the way they communicate. I have been assured multiple times that they would phone / email / follow up but they dont. They provide numbers and email addresses that dont work and live chat which is now the only service that is working is useless, they just state that the matter has been escalated. Samsung promotional scams to boost revenue
I purchased 3 new Samsung phones in October 19 for Christmas presents, I was persuaded by the free buds promotion.
I submitted my claim online and received and an email saying my claim was successful. After 30 days I logged back in to see where my delivery was and learned they hadn't accepted my claim and need more information. I had purchased a Note 10 from a Samsung store on the 7th November during the time the earbud redemption program was active. I was in two minds of buying the phone but the free ear buds were an enticing proposition. I filled the appropriate online form with all the info required. I hadn't received any feedback as to whether my claim was verified A week later so I decided to call Samsung ear buds call centre. Finally a half hour later I got through and was told they forgot to inform me that my claim was verified. On the 13th of November my claim was verified. It has been stuck like that ever since to this day. Made many attempts to call but all calls were in excess of 20 minutes+ before the phone cuts out. As if this is a deliberate act to reflect the problem; keep them in the dark. The 30 day limit is soon encroaching and I highly doubt Samsung will honour their promise. This ear buds redemption promotion has Simply been a form of bait IMO to lure honest customers to their product and put these customers aside while Samsung continue doing business.
