My microwave was a white one but I sent it back for a refund, cannot see a thing through the darkened glass. If you cannot see your hand behind the glass with the door opened then a higher wattage globe is not going to make any difference. I am pretty sure that changing a globe in a microwave is no longer possible for the consumer. It has to go back to a service agent if it blows, so I doubt if a higher wattage replacement is possible.

Hi Brenton, we do not recommend users to replace the interior light. For more information on the interior light of your microwave:

Why is my microwafe so dark inside

Hi Alet
I'm answering this on the basis that the light is working, our microwave is the same and I have seen many people on here with the same concern, it seems it's the glass they use, it just seems to get darker over time. I have tried to scrub it, but still the same. Just another reason why this product is so poor.
I hope this has helped.

It's just the way this microwave is - Samsung really stuff up with how dark it is as I can never see anything inside it when I'm using it!

I have never had to change the globe on this microwave but on other makes you have to unscrew the outer case and take it off to get to the globe.Everything on the inside of the microwave should be sealed.

I'd call Samsung and ask before doing anything. Seems unusual for it to be needing changing

Not quite sure what you mean by more than one shape. My model is the Samsung ME6124W-1,34L white sensor microwave oven.1000W but works like a 800W.Glass door is dark smoked so it is impossible to see through even when it is turned on.I have a 2 year warranty on this model, but if it broke down tomorrow i would celebrate and tear up the Invoice rather than get it repaired or replaced.

So sorry but we've not had to do so. Perhaps call Samsung or do a Google search? Good luck.
